HD, it's a tough call whenever you try to get through POE, especially being as you're from the PI. Personally, I would get as much evidence as possible and take the risk. I was over the moon when I got over the border after all of the problems there. However, keep in mind that there is a chance you won't get through and that would be heartbreaking. It's all a big risk with big consequences either way. Let us know what you decide. I hope people begin to recieve their NOA1's, those who haven't recieved it officially yet! I try to keep myself busy with shopping for wedding ideas ( we trying to blend 2 cultures ) here at home. Get what we can here in good time. Please, please be vigilant and call/email the NVC and Consulate each time you deal with them. Do not let the same thing happen to you! So yes after the packet 3 stuff is mailed in, email them 2 or 3 days later and ask if they've received your paperwork and whether or not they've sent out your appointment. When we received our NOA2 so quickly, we were relieved that we already started the ball rolling on gathering documents for the interview. So we looked on the website (and checked there often) and it said (and STILL says, I might add) that if your interview was scheduled before April 15th (which we were) that if the police certificate was less than six months old (which it was) and your interview occurred before August 15th, everything would be okay. Well, it wasn't... We will have to pay an additional 70 pounds (about 135 dollars) and wait. Time was never the motivating factor; he wasn't able to come right over. It's just the feeling that the U.S. government seems to be squeezing every last penny out of us that they can. But, at the end of the day, we are approved, even if we have to wait a little longer, and I am ecstatic at that!!! Thanks you for all the well-wishes!!! congrats Dawn and Darren, I know that stuff about the police certificate, people were saying the old one would be ok but i went for the new one because I wasnt confident about that. You have been approved and thats the main thing, it depends how quickly you want the certificate I paid £35 and had it in 7 days. Congrats again and at least the interview is over. Just open skype and the call log bit and scroll it so the dates u want showing are up. then hit the print screen button (top right side of your keyboard) then go into paint and hit paste (ctrl v) and then you can edit from there and cut just the skype box out and print it right from paint. I don't believe theres a way to do it right from skype or maybe I just didn't figure it out. we use skype so much! we ended up sending 5 pages of skype logs just to prove we were together at the times we said because there were no calls at those times we were together. and its quite obvious just by looking at the logs. hope this helps.. best of luck to you And to Sally ..
