Hi There I am assuming you are going for a K1 visa or simular, the service centre that deals with you case is allocated depending where the usc lives, as far as I am aware it cannot be transferred upon request, otherwise everyone would do that. The service centres vary when I filed it was with Vermont and at that time they were far quicker than California it just depends on the workload and they type of visas they give priority to at that time. Would somebody please take note, once and for all, I was born in Maidenhead on the 4th of March 1957, my mother's name is Mary, her maiden name was Reynolds, my father's name is Robert, and I'd be absolutely astounded if that ever changed between now and the day I die! I have had security clearances which allowed me to sit in the Cabinet Office, five seats away from the Prime Minister while he was being briefed on the first Gulf War and I have been doing volunteer work for the British Red Cross ever since I left the Services. However, I have to get someone 'important' to verify who I am -- you know, someone like my doctor... who, before he got his medical degree 6 months ago was living in Pakistan ... ! K-3 Spousal Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	HELP I-129F Approved but SENT BACK ??!	Hello, I have questions regarding your post please.  You said you were able to get your I-129F but now for I-130 it's 7 months that you have been waiting if im correct.  My question is once the I129F was approved was the non us citizen able to work in the US? If so how long did that take?     I filed I130 for my spouse in April. Right after I filed the I129F.  Oct 11 I filed a e request due to over processing times for I129F. Once you respond to the RFE and they get what they asked for, they will approve both of them at the same time and move both of them to the NVC where the I-129F will be administratively closed since the I-130 is the superior visa process. K-3 Spousal Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Duplicate file accepted for i129f	Hello, I got an rfe for i129f on dec23. Im the USC it was for my passport, birth certificate, divorce papers and biographic info which was already sent. At either rate before I got the rfe on the same day I called to get status on the service request that was done on oct 12 and file transferred to Nebraska on oct 23. I was told no info schedule info pass. That same evening I get text about rfe. On dec 26 I called to find out if they could tell me what was needed so I could prepare I was told wait for letter. That evening I checked my mail had the rfe. Today I get an email my file is in acceptance stage and normally 2 business days will get receipt number. It said it was a duplicate file. I did not file duplicate and hadn't even sent info on rfe yet. When I spoke with tier2 today I was told problems with software and the weather is bad it's really cold. Everything is fine and my i130 is fine also just respond to rfe. My questions how could she see anything going on with i130 and only gave info for i29f? Why back to acceptance stage?
