IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 Interviews	Well I had quite a range of emotions overcome me this morning. The easiest part was the waiting, and the first window that requested all of my info. The most nerve wracking was the interview itself. The man was very nice and very compassionate when certain topics got me emotional.. The good news is I WAS APPROVED.. But the bad news is be informed me that the border still might deny me and that apparently us only seeing my husband twice in 4 years was not normal. And he's right it isn't normal, we never expected it to take this long. Also it's been emotionally hard on our daughter each visit when she doesn't understand why he had to honor why we had to leave. Not to mention money wise my husband has been supporting us here and himself there. I'm just glad this part is over. I am so anxious, i dont know if it's because this is finally happening or the unknown. It's been a long, emotional road for my husband, daughter, and myself. We started the visa process a little over 4 years. We chose what seemed to be a good immigration lawyer- boy were we wrong. He not only mislead us, but kept out family apart. With that being said we ended up searching on our own and did what we read online. On May 27th 2013 I received an email from the NVC stating my case was complete. Today my husband called the NVC and my interview date has been set for July 22! I heard they are the slowest......   Thank you   I had a transfer on oct 23 for i129f and rfe on dec 26. I130 transfer Nov14 and rfe Jan 9. Oh my I'm not sure why it would take that long. I was told give it two weeks to show up then about another four weeks to process is an average. Rfe on i130 and i129f in January. Both were for items already sent. I got my senator involved jan 3 and approved han 22. my case is crossing the 10 months after few days bt no approval ye I know it gets discouraging I hope you get an approval soon. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I 751 June 2013 Filers	Hello,   I just joined VJ a few minutes ago because of a google search about a CRI89 notification I received in the mail about it being transferred to California Service Center after I filed at Vermont Service Center. I applied for the ROC on 10/18/13 NOA received on 10/21/13 Biometrics appointment is scheduled on 11/25/13   The thing that's boggling my mind is that the transfer notice is dated 11/18/13   How is it possible that it says CRI89 Approved Removal of Conditions in the case type and I still haven't done my biometrics??? They asked for what I already sent. however I am sending them again with a letter explaining and I also added this years taxes.   I wish they sent me an interview instead of the RFE because its so vague, my wife and I have nothing to hide at all. When we first got married on 8/4/10, we lived primarily in Lafayette, LA for a full year in the same house as {MY WIFE}?s parents. Then we moved to ?***  **** Ave apt ** Garden Grove, CA? for 6 months, where {MY WIFE} received her Cosmetology license in CA with plans to start our life in CA while I (MY NAME) attended Orange Coast College to finish the required courses in order to complete my Architecture Degree. However, {MY WIFE} received a great opportunity to work in Lafayette, LA, therefore she moved back to Louisiana to work while I stayed in California to finish my education. For the past 2 years we have been going back and forth between LA and CA and we saw each other frequently. We have spent every holiday and every minute that we could get considering the circumstances together. Can you please tell us if you got an email/text alert about the RFE and did your online case status change to RFE? Please i will appreciate a reply. Thanks   When they send RFE's the case stays as initial review.   Neko, I submitted so much stuff, Affidavit stating we live together from in-laws since we live in their house. And also We submitted bank statements and joint taxes, Life insurance policies and retirements with each other as beneficiaries.. The RFE they sent me makes no sense whatsoever. But I am sending in a new packet of evidence of what they asked for Complete bank statements and taxes for 2013 which we will have done next week and another affidavit of where we are living. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 October 2013 Filers	GAR,   You can also considering submitting any car registrations & insurances bearing both of your names.   Did you case status on USCIS website change to "RFE" from "Initial Review"? Just curious to know. I think RFE stays initial review.. When I applied for the greencard first time it stayed initial review when I got my RFE   As far as car registrations, neither our cars are in our names. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 October 2013 Filers	I would keep the cover letter clear and to the point.  A good start may be something similiar to "...We are responding to the request for further evidence for the removal of conditions application submitted on [date] and have included the items request by USCIS which include: ". Then add a list in order of what they requested. If they did not request anything specifically, then list the items in order of importance anyway (and btw photos are not considered primary evidence, so I would place those at the bottom of the pile but still include them).   You may want to include the 2011 tax transcript as well.    By the way, we did not submit official tax transcripts from the IRS. We submitted copies of our H&R Block tax records for two years.  These records which included state records, showed our names and address and that we filed jointly.   good luck   Thanks Ghepardo.   We didn't do taxes in 2011 because we were both students and were filed with our parents. I also submitted the joint taxes from 2012 which showed everything but for some reason they asked for the W2's  which in our case we both worked as 1099. But this years taxes, mine will have a W2 form for half the year. Honestly I'm starting to think that they are asking for more evidence because of my nationality, and it's fine.   By the way I want to also congratulate all of the people that received instant approvals. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 October 2013 Filers	Any idea on what I should write in the cover letter?    I am doing my 2013 taxes this week.    I just got my 2012 tax return transcript I printed out all my bank statements for the past 3 years and I am also resubmitting the affidavit my in laws wrote regarding my wife and I living in their house since we've been married. I'm also going to print Thanksgiving, Christmas and New years eve party pictures. I am not sure what else I should submit.  This is the most vague RFE ever. We had no problems with that on our end by they didn't send it the first time, hence they got RFE as well (they even hired a lawyer and let the package go without it, what?!?!).   Good luck to you Gar and the rest of October 2013 filers. I checked the copies of the packet that I sent, and I did have a letter of affidavit from my in laws stating in it that we live under their roof. I don't understand why the officer that is checking my file is asking for the three things that I already sent. The tax transcripts are complete and the living arrangement is justified in the affidavit letter. The only thing is the bank statements that I sent were only the first page, and not the complete statement.   I'm just going to write a cover letter and send the same things again.
