So, I am currently waiting for the NOA1 to arrive from the Texas Lockbox for our K1Visa petition. I have seen tons of posts about California and Vermont. Which is really the better one to have your application sent to? I know that there's no way to know for sure where it'll go until I get the NOA1.


where your petition is sent depends on the state you live in, and what centre that state is assigned to.
at the moment it'd be better to have your file sitting at vermont, as their processing is going much faster, but in the past california has been known for its fast pace.
the centres appear to go in cycles. one fact for sure is that the backlog at csc is of historic proportion and if this pace continues having it sent there now might cause long waits also for people who filed now, not just applicants from last summer and autumn.

only hope is for csc to speed up and for vsc to at least stay at the sort of fast same pace.

Yes that is how it reads.. But that information was posted by someone answering a question from someone else asking where in the I-134 does it say you need 3 years of tax returns. Apparently he read it somewhere as well..
The point I was making is that I'm not sure where anyone ever got that information as the I-134 does not say it needs that much information and apparently has not requested that much information since before 2003.
Unless someone has a copy of the i-134 frrom before 2003 we can only assume that at one point 3 years of returns was a requirement in the I-134 from previous years. Or as this person also stated, one of the consulates that has a local policy of requiring 3 years of
tax returns. It could also be that someone went to an interview with less that 3 years of tax returns and was told to come back once you have more information and that person then wrote a guide and it has been in the mythos for what is needed for the 134 ever since.. We honestly dont know.. wacko.gif


You know what I wonder on this site???? Are we somewhat prejudice about where some are from? Not trying to get any drama started... just curioius.... I've noticed that some can post here and get many responses and others.... none. Even an awknowledgement.... Just curious.....

I often wonder why some don't update their profiles.... my guess would be that's it's not necessarily that they abandoned their profile but maybe abandoned the site because the haven't exactly felt accepted and/or responded to. That sucks. Don't worry though. It will hopefully be something stupid that they lost, so you will just be delayed 1-2 weeks and will be approved instantly after sending back the RFE.

What color was your husbands visa pickup slip?? And what did it say?

Because some people got pink and some got white slips.


A Pink slip but my husband said it doesn't matter the color cuz people came in some with pink and others with white and they both got the visa

It said on it pick up visa date and the visa number
And bring an ID or copy of a passport
