My question here is for the "Official Use" column is that the embassy who will fill out? As far as the evidence, they are asking list the time you have been physically present in the US, to me i only need to fill out one row and that would be the date i came to the US till present. My evidence is going to be job offer, taxes, driver license. So why do you see this is as a problem? please share you thoughts that way we can all avoid issues. My wife's interview is at the end of June.  What doesn't make sense to me, why would the embassy ask the petitioner whom they happened to be US citizen/permanent already living in the US to provide such evidence.   Also would you mind if you share with us later on once your husband inshallah pass the exam, would you mind if you tell us the type of questions they asked? how fast he got his visa? was it issued on the same day? I need to prepare my wife, alhamdulilah she memorized every thing but just in case i want to avoid any delays.   I would advise if you haven't done it to ask your husband to get a new police report and have it ready, i heard some people were delayed because their police report was expired. Also provide your current tax for this year and send it to your husband.    This is so far what i have found out from asking friends and relatives.   Good luck.      I'm just scared to open a door on us I mean if I give them something and they tell him we need more ... It is required per the US embassy guidelines in Sana'a to fill out the following form by the petitioner :AFFIDAVIT OF RESIDENCE AND PATERNITY/MATERNITY.   Any one has an idea, what is this for? also they do mention :     All petitioners must complete, sign, and notarize an Affidavit of Residence and Paternity which  then should be sent to the visa applicant.      How do we get this document notarize? and if you go through the form, they want evidence and for the column that say's official use who do they mean by that? is it the US embassy in yemen? or i need to do something here in the US.   I am panicking as i have to go to Yemen next week and i want to delay anything for my wife. About the Sponsor ( i-864) , one of my friends got kicked last week from the embassy when they asked do you the sponsor, he said no , So they told your i-864 is declined and you have to do another one . K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	calling USCIS before overdue date	it's been 4 months since we got our NOA1. which is 1.5 months away from the current average processing time the USCIS website gives us. so my fiancé is very reluctant to call the USCIS. he thinks it won't make any impact on our case and he doubts they'll even give us any information. i wanted him to call so we at least know what is going on with our case. as i read tier 2 officers can give you certain information such as if your case was handed down to an officer or what your name or background check status is. did anyone call the USCIS before you hit the mark of the official average processing times? does it make sense to get in touch with a tier 2 person "prematurely" so to speak? i'd like to convince him to do it, so any experience reports are very helpful! thank you!	narnia	Female	Austria	2013-02-19 05:03:00
