you cant get a passport till after your oath ceremony, that's when you are going to receive your naturalization certificate and officially become a US citizen. so between interview and oath you dont need a visa. it depends on your local office, not every office offers same day oath. some, you even have to wait a month or longer.

i believe they have a sign there saying that if your kid is too loud, they gonna reschedule your appointment tongue.gif they dont mind spouses and kids there (well i guess depends on how crowded they are)

we sent mine on oct. 7, received NOA exactly 1 month later. no sign of biometrics app. sad.gif
Another thing...when i check my case status on-line, it says something about not being able to find this file....kinda makes me worried
