K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	You have no idea how helpful your words are! I feel like Im putting my whole life on hold for him, and he just goes through the days without worrying too much. I feel like my life is pending in the air really! I cant register for my MA...or open the small business that I want...I cant even buy a big TV or a new pc because I will have to give it away...so I think ...better save the money for translations and stuff...Im tired of waiting and waiting...I left my ex one and a half years ago...I want to re build my life and it seems that it wont happen soon. I hate living alone, sleeping alone...I dont have parents here and my 2 sisters are always too busy for me. I lost all my friends to the divorce. Im completely alone. I told Donnie many times that his situation is not even close to mine. He has a comfortable life there...hes happy. He is used to be alone but Im not. I want new friends, new job...and not long ago I moved to a new town which I love. I really need to rebuild my life...but now is on hold...and Im getting depressed...how long should I keep on waiting?????this is not fair! not fair. Today I feel terrible, I got fired from school due to a new plan from the ministry of education (they are cutting off hours) now Im jobless and I have to look for a new school. Im terrified because I support myself. I dont know what to do...after working for 4 years at the same place...I feel lost and I've noticed that there is a lot of competition all around. In addition I get angry all the time because the paper work doesnt move and sometimes I think Donnie doesnt do things as fast and efficiently as I do. Im just tired. We dont even talk on the phone. And its better that way. He wanted to stay with the boys and that was the only way to get him sign the papers. He also got our department (but it has still to be paid off for 20 years so...) anyway, Im okay with it but I cannot even see the man....I feel really disgusted by his marely presence. It will be hard to leave the boys here but I will do all I can to convince them to come to live with me when they are older. Regarding the age difference...well, Donnie is 5 years younger than me...I really give a...about age diference. There are many people I know (including my mom, who got marrie to a man 10 years younger than her) that have happy marriages. It has been almost 2 and a half months since we sent the application...lately I have been running after my old marriage certificate (from 1994) because the embassy wants it together with the divorce papers...what for, I really dont know...but let me tell you it was confusing, starting by the fact that I even didnt know where to get it from. Anyway, the important thing is that I got it and its being translated right now together with my 2 kids' birth certificates and my army records. Gosh thats expensive...plus I asked 2 certified copies of each. During the comming week I will schedule an appointment with the physician in Tel Aviv but only at the beginning of July because I want Donnie to come with me. I need to get all the shots they say because I dont have a vaccination record. Everything is under control it seems. Donnie is going to talk to his congressman regarding the Argentinian police certificate, maybe there is something he can do...there is always a better possibility when there are connections...but who knows. The key is to be patient. My baby is going to be here in 6 weeks...and we are planning a dream vacation. So...good times are yet to come.In a month an a half from now school will be over and I will be free for 2 months! YAY! Everyone on here knows how difficult it is to be separated from our partners but the stress and strain on the relationship is multiplied ten fold when one of you is deployed to a war zone. I didn't just worry about when I would get to talk to him/see him again but IF I would. Every time the phone rings and you see an unknown number you panic and when the news came on in the evening telling me that more soldiers had lost their lives I would make myself sick with worry until I heard from him. The day he came home safe I was dizzy with excitement, I would definitely not be able to go through this process if we were still in that situation. Alan is no longer active although he is enlisted in the reserves and we recently had a scare when he was called up for a Muster Drill, it looks like they are unlikely to call him up right now but it reminded us that our lives can still change at any moment. Please take some time out to show your support for the members of this community who are currently going through much more than most of us can imagine. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	Thats a great thing to do, I am watching my finances too, I want to leave everything in order when Im gone...I do have a big loan and I have to pay 150 u$ for 5 years...so Donnie and I plan to send the many to my bank account each month, Which I hate because I would rather close my bank account but...what can be done... Anyways...I've been reading about some of you having to wait a little bit longer and the truth is that is not the end of the world. Donnie and I had the application approved in 34 days and you know what? because I lost that document the entire process will get stuck for about a year....I cry sometimes because I just think that is unfair what the Argentinian embassy is doing...they are the most careless and idiotic people I have ever encounter in my life. I explained to them with tears in my eyes that Im about to get married....all they had to do is type my ID number (which appears in the Birth certificate) in the computer and ask for the demn police certificate that takes only 2 weeks. So here I am...stuck forever and I dont really got anything more to say. I have never encounter a situation as ridicoulos as mine since I registered to VJ, nor met anyone in the same situation. Once a person wrote me a message telling me that their process got stuck for 4 months because his fiancee lost her ID in the Philipines. Well in Argentina takes almost a year to get the ID....I just stop dreamming and making plans, as hard as it is keeping a long distance relationship....Im tired of everything. Sometimes I just dont want to put mu headset on anymore....although Donnie tries to be possitive and he should be here in 7 weeks....I think thats what be need, to see each other again. So...if you have to wait amonth here and a month there, remember that it can always be worse. We have decided to keep on with the paper work so I will do my medical soon and finish translations. I should be getting ready as packet 4 is on the way. I have to do my medical and gather other papers...however we dont really know how much the argentinian ID will take and we are stuck and wondering if we should do the medical and the afidavit of support now...taking the risk of it being expired before the ID comes....so...we dont know. Donnie will try to contact his congressman and explain our situation...but the truth is that probably he wont be able to help us much....because is an Argentinean thing...maybe he could talk to somebody in the Argentinean embassy there...who knows... best wishes. I live by myself, I come back from work and see the empty apartment...nobody expecting me, nobody to cook for...I have 2 sisters that have little kids and are too busy all the time. I have 2 boys that live with their father and they all together ignore me almost completely...so my life is quite lonely. I m a teacher so Im usually quite busy with work. I just cant wait till Dinnie comes in the beginning of July...it seems sooooooooooooooooooo far away. This site really help me a lot. Listen dears friends if you think is a good idea we can get together on skype and talk...I think that would be nice. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	It is hard for me to accept that i will have to wait such a long time for the interview...and yes, many times (and I mean MANY) I get depressed and cry...but my honey has this way of making me feel better...hes always thinking how to help me kill the time (and we have a long time to kill, because my Argentinian ID may take a year to be ready) so...even though I have my job and I have family and friends here...it is hard. The latest idea my baby had for me: he bought me a lot of beads in Ebay so i will be learning how to make some jewelery in the summer. Im a teacher so I will have two and a half months off...imagine! I have to get busy. Hes comming for the third time in June...so I guess all the preparations keep us busy as well. I have been searching the internet for some wedding dresses so I can have an idea of what I would like. We checked houses too over the internet and talk about the future a lot.
