K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsFlight Delayed - Honolulu POE
I think either way you will be fine you are almost there. Congrats

Original flight was 8:40 PM MNL-HNL but he called me at 8:30 PM and said they're not boarded yet. He only had 2 hours in between from the time he lands, go through Immigration, baggage pick up, re-check in baggage and next flight to LAX. With the flight being delayed now (I'm not sure for how long) what are the chances he'll miss his LAX flight? I've read the POE reviews (less than 20 entries) and said it only took them at least 15 mins but he'll be in HNL by 2-3pm (I'm really praying it will be a slow day and they'll process him quickly)

Anxiety has kicked in once again. Surely these hiccups kept following up...

Appreciate any input.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhat current is average time after NOA2
Sorry we are K1 thank for the reply

It depends on your visa type and how many are in line before you.

The US consulate in Manila seems to be booked well ahead with many people waiting in line for an interview.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhat current is average time after NOA2
It seem that VSC is picking up the pace a little. (Hopefully we will get our NOA2 soon). My question is what is the average wait time after you receive NOA2 until you can get your loved one here to the states. We are hoping that she will get here by Thanksgiving. Thanks

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresVisa payment for K-2?
Hello everyone,

I'm trying to plan ahead and budget as well. I was just looking at the current price for K-1 visa at the US embassy. The fee stated was for $240. My question is do I have to pay that for each person or will her son be covered as well under her visa he is 12 year old. Thanks for the info.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresRFE Vermont.... forever?
Contact senator

Hi there!

We had the same situation when we send my application for citizenship they send my application back stating that We missed to filled out the address part. And same as yours we did filled out everything. So we resend it back and called the USCIS. We also contacted our US Senator in Hawaii regarding the application. Since then my papers moving and I received an email that they got my application and gave me a new case number. I suggest to keep calling the USCIS and asked help from your State Senator. Hope it helps.

Magie

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNOA-1
we filed march 12 2012 not a word until our noa2 sept 24 try not to focus on it just spend time talking about your future

If you went to Vermont you have to wait about 5 - 6 months while California is approving July applications right now. If you want an estimate of your dates you can fill in your timeline.

And just to make sure your fiance received not just the receipt number but his NOA1 (first notice of action). That is a paper USCIS would've mailed to his address. I think you might need a copy of that letter for the interview. It all depends on the embassy in your country.

Good luck!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresIs it necessary to set a wedding date?
We have not set a date it is hard to plan a weeding on such short notice. What we did do is find a nice wedding chapel about an hour and a half I paid the minister and ask him to write a letter on our behalf.Stating that we have paid him for the service and he will marry us when she arrives.MostCatholic church here want 6 month notice so we will renew our vowels in church after civil wedding. That way everyone is happy and we are well within the 90 timeline

Thank you, Mai and Timmy. Goodluck to you both...October is finally here for you! :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWHAT IS THE BEST K1 FIANCÉE VISA LAW FIRM OUT THERE??
We are using easyfiancee visa you can click on them at this website. You gather the info and they review it. They are not laywers we are still waiting but they have responed well to our questions. It is more piece of mind than anything else. They can''t make your process any faster when they send it in it is in the hands of the service center. They will respond to you and your fiancee question which helps.Best of luck

ase for a minimum 3 months. Not only that he made no less than 10 mistakes. All of which I had to correct from information gleaned from this website. That was $1800 down the drain.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNEW here K1 fiancee visa need help
First of all congrats to you both. We used easyfiancee visa we did the plat. service . They did a nice job but i feel that the plat service was a waste of money I would recommend them on filling out your forms basic service. It give you piece of mind and it saved us from mistakes that we would have made during filing. The longest part of your visa journey is waiting on NOA2. Check out their website and see for yourself if it is right for you. Whatever you do best of luck and prepare to be paient dont let waiting on NOA2 rule your lives. This is a long process!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, and welcome here. :) Congratulations that you both are about to file for K1 petition. Firstly, you guys really don't need a lawyer, unless you can't have time to print documents for the petition. :) You can save more time and money if you will do it yourself, plus, you'll really learn big things. Just familiarize yourself with the process, you can do research.

For filing the petition, your fiance need to fill up the form I-129F , both of you too will fill up G-325A form signed and dated, prepare an intent to marry letter again with signature, photo copy of birth certificate, passport and attached with plane itinerary, photos of you together with date, hotel receipt, divorce decree if your fiance is divorce, chat logs, emails record for supporting evidence. :)

That's all, and oh! A payment of $340. :)

Good luck and God bless you both with your journey.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresOn average how much more time does a 221g add to wait for visa
Hello everyone how much time does a 221g add the the wait time of a visa? It was a simple error there was not a space between her name on 1 of her doc. Any past experience on something like this will be most helpful, they did keep her passport. Thanks for your time.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresApplying K-1 in the Philippines
whichever country you stay in while the k-1 process is going on make sure you get all the nessicessary paperwork from both countries you are in and any country you have been to in the past not older than 6 months best of luck.

hi everyone! i've been reading on this site for a while now and it has given us great tips and "aha" moments. My boyfriend and i have been in a long distance relationship for almost 3 yrs. now and we want to settle down soon.

I am a filipina and currently living and working in Thailand as a teacher. Initially, we have agreed to have our fiance visa processed here. But lately, I have been thinking of going home to the Philippines to have a long and break and eventually have our K-1 visa processed there instead.

My question is, how true are the allegations of red tapes and difficult processing there? Many have told me that it's easier to process outside of your own country? :( :( :(

I need to decide soon. Your advises and suggestions would be highly appreciated.
