Sigh.

Dr called me in her office. Apparently, my loyalties don't lie with the practice. #######?????
Translation = other girl I work with has been slowly fking me over. Not that I didn't know it.

So she is starting to look for someone else and she'll give me time off for interviews.
Can't say I was wildly happy here, but it was a job. Praying I'll find something before Jamaica.

:wow: God nah sleep though

Lord ya'll I gotta keep praying...

The embassy told him it would take 2-4 months before we will know if waiver is approved or not.
I read on another site that the processing time is 6-8 months :wow:
God give me strength...

I don't even know when I will get some time off work to go see him and his baby girl has never even seen her father. I wonder how she will act when she does. She sees his pictures everywhere, and she sees him on the computer. Will she know him?? Will there be something inside that knows "that's my daddy" :(

Some days are harder than others... today is a hard day :(

damn it!

I am crying at my desk now... I know I don't have to tell ya'll how hard this is :crying:

Sorry for the pitty party, I just feel a way today...

girl cry cry cry, you have to let it out
it's in God's hands and he knows your heart

omg dillon..that just hurt my heart..

GOOD MORNING ALL!! just read the last page, sorry cyaan ketch up..

dills, man.. it sounds like she took it to dyam serious "didnt want to intrude" omg..

well yunno to be fair to her, she probably meant it as she didn't want to get into their personal space as they are greiving
i'm like that, when someone is dealing with a serious issue and i can't offer something to make them feel better, i don't say anything at all
but then if she is using that as an excuse to miss the funeral then yea that is terrible

Mexico, Latin & South AmericaYardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!

girls are good. they are sort of going through a crying spell right now where they only want me or daddy. we got a sitter the other night so hubby and i could go out and it didnt go so well....girls cried the whole time. guess we will have to wait a few months to try that again...

my son is good..he has stepped up to big bro plate and helped me out a lot, laundry, dishes etc...

awww, i agree with dills though about trying to get some time for you and hubby
and good thing on your little man stepping up

Here is the message I sent her along with the friend request. Now mind you I have known her since 1998 and we worked together when I lived in Vegas. She knew my family pretty well over the years.

K, I'm sorry that I didn't get the opportunity to see/visit you while I was in Vegas. My father's passing was extremely hard on me and I was not able to express the pain I was feeling at the time. I apologize if that offended you - you have truly been a good friend in the past.

Her reply...........

Hi P,

My sincere condolences to you and your family. I can't imagine how difficult your fathers death was and I understand how much you were going through. He was a kind, sweet man who always had a positive thought.

We had planned to stop in but did not want to intrude on your family.

All the best,

K

She didn't even accept my friend request..she hit ignore.

I just wrote her back and said. "All the best to you too" and left it at that.

damn girl, you did what you could and your conscience is free
you shouldn't have to apologise for dealing with the death of your father in the first place
maybe one day in the near future you two will be able to make further amends, but until then if she isn't mature enough to spit out what it is that is bothering her........it's on to the next one

I am BEYOND pissed....Friend of mine lives in Michigan and was getting married.

She did ask me about taking photos, but I kind of was reluctant, assumed her budget wouldn't cover my airfare, hotel and prices.

She just put out her photos of FB.They are TERRIBLE. DISGUSTING. Shadows, no attention to skyline, no attention to posing etc.

I called her and asked her how she felt about the photos. She told me she knew they were terrible (didn't want to infere if she thought they were great).

I asked her how much she paid and the photographer charged her TWICE as much as I would have!

I feel PISSED as HELL, with myself AND the photographer.

The work is TRULY HORRIBLE!

that's messed up, an opportunity wasted

@DaDa, unofficial name = helicopter

ok that's it!

My aunt's 3 sons were killed last week in kingston b/c one of 'em wanted to be the area don and the people were not having it. The sad part about it is that 2 of 'em were very well eduacted and the other 1 that wanted to be the don was in bed w/ his baby mama and son and it was the baby mama's cousin that came in and shoot 'em all up, of course except his cousin and the baby. Can you imagine you're related to the person that kills your child's dad? Or for the mother, the person that kills your 3 kids all at once? SAD!

oh wow kj, my condolences. that is truly tragic. 3 one time? damn
how is your aunt dealing with it?

Steven has trouble saying "no" if he has the $. For example, he went to CVS & bought something one day. The cashier asked him if she could have his change to get her car washed. He GAVE it to her!! :bonk: He just doesn't seem as concerned (as I am) with having $ to save it. He's much more likely to give it away or spend it.

My ex's Mom passed away, and the funeral was today. He and I were together for a LONG time, and his Mom is like my Mom - but for a variety of reasons, I decided it would be better for all if I didn't go to the funeral. One of his sisters, who I am close with, is housebound, so they did a live feed from the service. I logged in, and just had to log out because I am bawling - He started to do the eulogy and absolutely lost it - My heart is aching for him right now, his Mom was his everything.

man my heart is aching just reading this

Does anyone know if you can get your police record in Kingston the same day, or do you have to go down there, apply for it and pick it up at a later date?

:)

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresGot the I-797C for I-130 (applying for K3 visa)
QUOTE (jiskat08 @ Aug 7 2009, 05:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
K3 is not actually obsolete its just that CR1 is the most being applied and has lots of benefits.. as wat i've said.. its up to you and Mond.. diba! hehe

its obsolete in the sense that its not doing what it's supposed to
they are basically being approved at the same time as the I130's....and that's after waiting 4 and 5 months
after waiting that long, one may as well just go the CR1 route and forget K3, less expensive plus more benefits immediately = more bang for your buck

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresRequest of further evidence
hindocha i'm sorry to see you got the rfe
but until you get the actual letter no one can really advise you
have you reviewed the package you sent to them to see if there is any possible thing you missed?
you can probably start there
it's not unusual for them to ask for stuff you sent already, maybe its a case of that
either way, though its not much consolation, at least you know they're working on your case which means an approval is around the corner once you send in the evidence

I'm still confused as to why CR-1 takes longer at the NVC than K3.

Apologises if I'm being stupid

because they get more money out of you that way

Mexico, Latin & South AmericaMedical
I agree with everyone, PLEASE just wait until his scheduled Medical appointment.
You do not want to interfere with this part of the process just follow the instructions as to where the Consulate has made clear that you need to have the medical completed, all shots elsewhere is such a short time may be disregarded, and will result in waste of time and money.

But glad to see you have gotten the far...Good Luck!!
