my license shows my maiden name while my passport shows both married and maiden
they say they are not the same names (even though they are both govt issues documents with pics to identify me) so i have to change my name on my trn

She took a second test 2 days ago and it came back positive.. Mawning Mrs. P.,

I have a question...don't know if anyone can answer it for me but...here goes....

We are looking to book a trip back to yard in August (don't know if we can...but want to try). Ken's JA passport expired in January. We are sending off the documents for him to get it renewed tomorrow. Can anyone tell me if the Consulate is for real when they say 4-6 weeks for processing and has anyone had issues with getting the JA passport renewed!?

I thought I heard someone say that the passport pics were a problem

Any info anyone might have would be helpful!

Thanks and stay blessed,
Gill

it's being said that passport fees are going to 5 gran when the budget is read (it's now $2,500)
it's not being read till tomorrow so it will be confirmed then but i would suggest you send in your papers soon
unfortunately i will be caught by the increase because i can't reapply till may sad.gif

thanks for the input to those that answered my earlier question

@ Jamerican : Welcome to Jamaica if you're really gonna come. I'm sure you've been adequately prepared with all the advice in the world. It will take ALOT of adjustment as the mentality here is alot different from the US. Most foreigners take a while to adjust to this difference in attitude. I have a neighbour who moved his family from the states here with the hopes he could raise his kids here and live good......he's leaving for the US this summer for good

I don't get the impression you're coming here for long so for you it may not be so bad.

for the K3 filers, what made you choose to go this route instead of CR1
