Canada	Proving domicile when not living in the U.S.	Oh boy, after reading the problems so many seem to be having I don't think we have a chance. I'm a USC and a PR of Canada since 2004. We were married in 99' and I've been living with my husband in Canada since 2001. We started this process in 2007 but we were so dang confused and reluctant to be apart during the process we didn't finish it until now. Now we have a son and its just that much more important we stay together. To prove I intend to reestablish domicile we have: A US checking and savings account I opened when we visited my family for Christmas last month. A US funds account with our Canadian bank. We have our 7 month old son's certificate of birth abroad, his US passport. We applied for his SSN and it should arrive in a couple of weeks. I have already sent a letter from my parents confirming they are opening their home to us. I've already sent a U-haul rental quote. I'm sure this isn't going to be enough. No one deserves that, and i am really sorry to hear what happen.   If he is your it does matter what he feels, thinks ,or decide,he will come back.   And if he dose"nt return.This way you know he is not for you,before you going ahead a say i do.   Most woman dream of this day and few dream of starting  all over.   But sometimes God let you meet the croppy,the stink ones so when the right one comes you know for sure.   Nothing we say here can change the course of your pain.But we understand the situation and we hurt with you.   It  will take time plenty of the,even tears but it will get better.I have been there once and never dream i would be alive to tell the   tales. My wife and son were both "entered without inspection" They were in the US about 10 years. We left the US in December of 2011. We will be filing at the US consulate in their country of origen, we have been here over a year. With the changes hopefully coming March 4th with imigration reform, are our chances of getting the visas better. Also should we wait till after the fourth to file, it would suck if we got held back because the changes were not in effect yet. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	What application for over 18 adopted stepchild, parents married earlier?	Give us basic info - who's the petitioner? Who's the primary beneficiary? Etc. If you don't give basic info, your question cannot be answered. I am the petitioner my wife and stepson are the beneficiarys. An adoption over age 16 does not count for immigration purposes. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin, Part 24!	Ever have a day where your hubby is on your ISH LIST?? Well, today is my day for that. I've been sick since Sunday & he's been USELESS! Last night capped it off. While he was at school & I was home sick, I did laundry (as I always do...he still can't figure out machines), went to class, went grocery shopping after, came home & all he'd managed to do was shower & complain about being hungry, I made dinner while he worked out & then folded his own laundry cause I finally refused to, he fell asleep on the couch by 9:00 (as usual) & I cleaned up the kitchen....his azz had the dyam nerve to say I was being a little loud when cleaning up. Then I started thinking about the amount of housework I do compared to him & it's very uneven. Yes, he cooks & does dishes but it's about 50/50 lately. On top of that, I do EVERYTHING ELSE! I don't like him very much today! And what happened to being taken care of when sick??? i'm sorry but i laughed out loud at that the thought of what must have been going through your mind when he said that i can imagine how he was very matter of fact when he said it too Edited by BunzTheMagicSnail, 10 March 2010 - 02:23 PM.
