Yes u cannot. But I have to give an exam and I have a deadline. And I have a letter from ecfmg go give a consideration for the visa because of that exam. It has the deadline of dec2014 so I previously thought it's of no use but now I think I will give it a shot. Worst would be they deny. But I would give it a shot before wasting 1500 dollars of that exam fee which I already paid :)

 

Maybe you should apply for an expedite as losing the money you paid for your exam ($1500) would be a financial hardship.  Just a thought.  Ive heard expedites get approved for some strange reasons.  It just depends on the individual embassy.

Okay got some text messages today from USCIS. The 129f was dismissed. The i130 hasn't updated on the website yet. But I'm assuming it is approved?

 

I was told that USCIS updates with in 24 hours.  I got an email message from TSC on my approval, then at 10 pm at night I got a message from USCIS site that my case was approved.  So its a good sign

Got this email today from TSC :joy: :joy:  :joy:  :joy:  :joy:  :joy:  :joy:  

 

On 05/01/2014, after you inquired about your I130, USCIS approved your case and sent you an approval notice using the most recent address we have on file. The original notice should arrive within 30 days.

He is an acting deputy for USCIS.  He will send it to someone and they will get back to you with in 2 weeks.

I am right there with you too.  I got an RFE that I sent back to them on 04/22/2013.  Its at the post office and supposed to have been delivered by 12:00 noon.  I am watching usps.com like a hawk.

I was thinking last night, since they refuse to allow you to open a service request, and you're not in the US to make an InfoPass appointment, maybe you could jump right to the Ombudsman and address your issues?

I just got notification of an RFE.  I will wait for the mail to tell me what they are looking for.  I am ready I already have documentation in a manila envelope.  I will only send them what they ask for.  Please update the spreadsheet for me.  Ill take the RFE at least they are looking at my file.

I really hope the rest of us September filers get some sort of notice soon, whether it's an approval or at LEAST an RFE! This is getting ridiculous!

 

I agree 100%.  This process they have needs to be updated to completely electronic.  that way they wouldn't have to worry about misplacing any files or marking boxes # of #.  They could scan everything in an be done with it... :idea:  :idea:  :idea: :idea:  :idea:

Tomorrow is the 15th days since I put in the service request and still haven't heard anything yet.  Filed on 11 September.

 

If i don't hear anything by tomorrow I can call again and put in another SR - which means I then have to wait another 15 days before I can call again????...

 

if you don't hear anything by tomorrow ask them to do an express message it will be 5 days more for that response not 15 days more.  5 is better than 15.  :idea:

Yeah I agree and I'm gonna pay my fee prior to POE too, just so I don't have to carry my passport everywhere :)

 

But, some people may be broke after paying the NVC fees and plane tickets etc..  It happens. And so paying the fee after POE may be the only option for them.

 

 

 

Anyhow, my husband called NVC this morning and they still did not receive our case. He'll call again tonight.... It's my birthday tomorrow so I'm hoping for some good news :)

So there's this Twitter event going on right now with the Secretary of the Dept of Homeland Security answering questions #DHSchat

He's not answering any questions about the backlog. Or why is the K-3 visa still offered. Or why USCIS can't process petitions in order. Or what's the point of USCIS when we have to repeat the process at NVC! Shocked.

 

Any answers being given are just blanket slogan statements basically. Don't ask me why I expected more, but this is what we're working with :/

 

Hang in there, everyone. I really hope you get approvals soon.

 

Now you don't really think he will take those questions.  That would require a real answer.

Yes, I put in a service request 3/28/14 and I contacted my congress and they are supposed to look into it.  I also emailed TSC and they stated I have to wait the 15 days for the service request.  This process is really sucking the life out of me.  So glad I am going to see my hubby on May 16,2014.  Any other suggestions anyone has I would greatly appreciate it.


Come on service centers... Please speed it up, dammit!

Thank you.  I am trying to be pro active.  I sent something to my congress person.  I put in a service request and I emailed TSC.  Its frustrating seeing all the October people getting approved.  I am happy for everyone but frustrated for myself.

Feeling frustrated today.  It has been 189 days at USCIS.    I did the SR.  I emailed TSC and they said I had to do the SR first and then give them the info they requested from the SR.  I bet I wont get approval til end of APRIL!  that's when it will be 60 days.  UGHHHHH :protest:  :crying:  :clock:  :clock: :clock:  :clock:

Hello fellow RD er

Hello VJ friends - another week and what will it bring for us all.
 
Sunday and Monday I don't obsess too much on this journey of ours as I know USCIS is closed!  We are actually on our way to NVC.  File shipped on the 26th so I am going to get Hubby to call on Friday 4th April to see if it has been received.  I would do it but cannot imagine the telephone bill hanging on for an hour for them!

We didn't get ours notarized either, but one of our fellow Sept sisters got a ridiculous laundry list of an RFE and the family/friend statements have to be notarized.

I think at around 45 days since transfer it'd be worth a try.




What about TSC.? Is there any way to email them after 45 days. I was transferred 2/26.

Is anyone here got the case transfered to TSC?

I have been keep tracking on the Spreadsheet for September 2013, and I dont see much cases get the NOA2 from TSC so far up to the date.

And more and more casese got approved from others office center, just wodering whats going on with the cases in TSC and why taking so long...crying.gif

 

I got the notice from USCIS,my case transfered from TSC on Feb 27. And the PD date is Sep 20th 2013.

 

I got transferred to TSC as well.  My pd is 09/23/2013  and I was transferred 02/26/2014.  I check every day at USCIS.gov and nothing. Its like they stopped processing. Ugghhhh so frustrated right now.  NSC is doing a lot more approvals than TSC.  God please open up the hearts of the adjudicators at TSC and let them start approving I130's on a regular basis.  Amen
