Philippinesshould the USC go with fiance/fiancee to interview
Escorting your fiancee on her interview does not assure you of an approval. In fact, the CO can opt not to have you around in the room when she gets interviewed. Hope this helps.

PhilippinesWhat are the requirements for the CFO?
Yep, I agree! Go to St. Mary's and NOT PRISM! St. Mary's people are nice and I have been hearing bad feedback about PRISM people.

Philippinesdirect flight to Detroit?
I did find good reviews on EVA Air.
HappyDancerFemalePhilippines2009-03-26 03:12:00
Philippinesdirect flight to Detroit?
No direct flight from MNL to DTW as the plane does need to refuel and even if you don't change planes (no connection, etc), you still need to get off the plane for at least 30mins for refueling and technical checks.

PhilippinesInterview
WOW!!! Congrats!
HappyDancerFemalePhilippines2009-03-26 12:06:00
PhilippinesDo you find this irritating?
It is a lil irritating but I answer them with this: You go ahead and get one of yourself. It was so hard for me to find one as most of them know what some Filipinas (at the back of my mind i say "Like you") are after. LOL

PhilippinesHalf page of NBI clearance & police clearance
For the NBI, if it states : FOR TRAVEL TO THE US, then you should be ok.

You just need one for the Police clearance. Good luck!

PhilippinesVJ members, i need your help
I tried that number and I swear the person on that extension was not happy at all. sad.gif She said that line is supposed to be for US based callers ONLY... sad.gif (stern tone made me cringe)
HappyDancerFemalePhilippines2009-03-27 14:22:00
PhilippinesVJ members, i need your help
I beg to disagree. That number is supposed to be for US BASED CALLERS ONLY. YOu better have your fiance call that number.
HappyDancerFemalePhilippines2009-03-27 10:09:00
Philippinesshould I be concerned?
Until the visa is printed and the visa packet has been handed out to Air21 nothing will be updated on their website. Don't worry, you've just been two days since the interview. I got mine after 4 days. You should be fine.

Philippinesproof of ongoing relationship and i-129f petition
I agree with Mr_Bill... the petition part is all about the petitioner, his legal capacity to marry, his finances, his background check results and if he and beneficiary have met within the past two years.

Philippinespinay..be counted in this thread
The reactions of the others to the thread is very annoying and it demonstrates a very poor uinderstanding of what the OP was trying to point the whole conversation at. I think some reactions here demonstrate crab mentality at its best. Sooo dumb!

Well anyway, I did say I am a college degree holder and will soon take a shot at masters. I won't say which university I got my degree from as people MIGHT react again. But I am a manager until I leave the Philippines to be my husband-to-be's (my meal ticket LOL) high manitenance housemaid.

-peace out-

Filipinas don't have to brag in this thread if they are highly educated or not. We can discern who are the highly educated and not too highly educated by reading their posts and how their English grammar and spelling stand up.

We don't have to boast that we are accountants or nurses or computer experts. This thread sucks! star_smile.gif

Why so sore? LOL

PhilippinesWhich seminar does my fiancee attend?
If she does not have all the documents, she'll have to come back to submit all the remaining docs. That would be it.
HappyDancerFemalePhilippines2009-03-30 09:55:00
PhilippinesWhich seminar does my fiancee attend?
No need for the PDO. It's included in the CFO seminar at St. Mary's for pre-departure procedures, etc. Refer to my signature of you want to see a reference for the CFO.

Hope this helps.

PhilippinesBuying a wedding dress in the Phils
Custom made dresses in PI can go anywhere from P5000 to P50000. Mine is done by a trusted designer and I am very satisfied I am paying P12000. You may check on the internet for wedding dresses in the US and they can go from $100-$3500. The gowns in the US are mostly off-the-rack too, meaning RTW. This means that if you need to have it altered for your Filipina figure, you'd have to pay for $150-$250 on top of the rack price.
