We're getting close to hitting our 100th day from NOA2. Wooohoooo!!!!

Happy Wednesday everybody! My fiance and I had our anniversary yesterday December 2 and we tried our best to feel good about it even with 8000 miles between us. I still have lots and lots of things to be thankful for!

Birthday boy, you might need to help us explain Igor's to Kenny and Ugochi.

Igor's List - The moment you create a timeline in VJ, you will be included in the database (Igor's List) of VSC or CSC filers for K1 and K3. There, you will see where your progress is at least based on your timeline as to when you will probably be approved as well as see the most recent approvals from VSC or CSC.

Sisters - Being happy for our friends and feeling miserable at the same time is human nature. I mean, who would be human enough not to feel like how we are feeling if put in a situation like ours? Oh well, let's turn this to something useful. I uploaded some new pics on Facebook and yesterday's wedding was the first dry run on doing my makeup myself. What do you think? We will be playing on a budget this June so no hiring of makeup artists. smile.gif

Just got back home. Dropped my little girl to school and now I am having a little peace and quiet.

Maliciant and Chuck- You guys do whatever you wanna do with your adobo. I honestly think that's the beauty of Filipino cuisine- you can kinda go freestyle on how you do your food. I had adobo when I was in KY back in May and June. It was "good enough" to be my kind of adobo and my fiance was happy so I guess, it wasn't a disaster after all... Having come from a family where my mom could fix real good kick as$ meals, I honestly am a little apprehensive about how I would eventually adjust when I finally settle down there. I am going to miss my dried fish and my bagoong and my seafood!!!

It's not too early for CSC to fluke out a little and send my NOA2 in time for my birthday.... but it'd have to be a fluke, CSC is still doing mostly july 25th and my noa1 is late august, so really a much better chance at a christmas NOA2.

The doc's advise was to finish one full pack before getting confident that it's takling effect. That was one of the primary concerns coz believe it or not, historically, the pill was given to women who desire to have babies. They are to take it for a period of 6 months and a sudden stop would be a baby boom. smile.gif

Good thing though that my fiance's not here when I started with it, otherwise, that would have been a pain. You should have time. Yasmin only has 21 pills and by the time you get to the 3rd week, you are safe. smile.gif She also recommended the patch if the pill didn't feel good, but now I am very happy with what I have so I should be fine.

I am using the pill now - Yasmin. I have tried another brand after I gave birth back in 2001 for only two months because gained so much weight, I was irritable and I had morning sickness all the time so I stopped and just switched to the rubber. After a while, I finally decided to go for the IUD in 2005. There is some degree of discomfort but it's not that bad. I have used it til end of 2007 because I developed sensitivity to copper like I would bleed for two months straight and then it would stop for two weeks and come back again.

When my IUD was removed, the doc suggested Yasmin because it's low dose estrogen and it has some added value which helps clear your complexion, does not trigger weight gain and you can almost not feel any bad effects. So I decided to try it. It's I think one of the high end pills available in the market, but I was desperate as I was having hormonal imbalance issues and was breaking out everywhere in my body adding to the effect of the IUD. Basically, I take it before I go to bed, so as if ever there would be any adverse effects like headaches, I would just sleep it off. True to it, I only had to adjust for a week of slight headaches and I have been using it for almost a year now. The pill also helps in ovarian cancer and you just have to add Vitamin D supplements to the mix to eradicate breast cancer. Today, I would promote Yasmin for free. biggrin.gif I am a happy camper!

I use sugaring wax which reminds me I had my fiance make sure that he gets a wax warmer for me. lol I use the Body Shop stuff - worth every penny since I have sensitive skin, this thing doesn't irritate my skin.
