Ok let me rephrase my statement earlier so you'll see it from my point of view.

"got Waxed topic" - I find it SOOOOOOOO INTERESTING!!!! OOOOOHHHH I can't stop raving about waxing. Big deal to you? Join in. No? Ignore it.... Very very very simple.

And I can keep it going on and on and on and on... It's an one online community and people are open to discussing it. Does it hurt you? Does it? If it does, again you can opt to ignore it.

When you say something someone said was nonsense and irrelevant, it's up to you. Every topic is relatively interesting to some, retarded for the others and important to the rest. The whole point of this thread is about a fellow VJ member "upsetting, antagonizing, making fun of, belittling and ridiculing" another member which is a clear violation of TOS. It was never about whether a topic opened was interesting, relevant, or demonstrating moral values or not.

Again, everything is relative. You can post things that may just be ultimately off the wall if you think it's a good point of discussion. But criticizing a member for being too open or too graphic about how she/he does things is uncalled for.

QUOTE (jack&anais @ Apr 6 2009, 03:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
VJ was not this bad during our time.. We are trying to help too.. but some filipina's here need to have dignity and respect for themselves in order to be respected by others. Some threads, are just nonsense which make every reply nonsense too and irrelevant. Forums are for public, and people from Philippines, from other countries can read it, which they can react and give opinion about it. Respect there opinion, rather than making a reply "calling names" "cussing" "filipinas talking in tagalog to talk bad things to others"... this is not right!

I hope everything will be back to normal.

PhilippinesRequesting Interpreter
I have a feeling that since you do talk everyday, her English skills are above average. That, however, does not mean her confidence level is good. A lot of the girls I interviewed with were pretty nervous. But keep in mind that that day - only one out of the 20 something got a white slip coz she was not prepared with all the necessary documents (she was messed up with her organization) and not all of the applicants have great english at all. That should be encouraging. Let her know that most of the COs are actually very nice. You have to carry yourself in a proper manner. It's ok to be nervous, but there's no reason for her to be scared. smile.gif

Good luck! She will do just fine!

RonMay - I do have some makeup knowledge as I have been exposed to it in theater and performing arts ever since my early teens. I basically DIY all my makeovers and makeup. Truth is, as much as I love makeup, I would not advise everyday use. My derma herself has told me this: No matter how much a brand brags about healthy bases for their makeup, it will always be destructive to the skin. She advises taking care of the skin and keeping it healthy. No matter how wonderfully expensive or healthy your makeup brand is, nothing beats the healthy and natural glow of the skin. I put makeup on in special occasions and as needed, but skin care is my top priority.

Laura - That all has a lot to do with static inside the plane. Some airlines do have hair gels inside their restrooms and I just hope you are lucky enough to get into one. I would advise, antifrizz cream that you can apply after you shower and blow dry it. This hopefully helps out with the frizz. And should you need a retouch, wetting the hair a little bit before landing could help. smile.gif I have lonfg hair with very fine strands, I have that problem too and this has always worked for me. Hope this helps.

I beg to disagree Zen. Some people do want to have good and meaningful conversations even with people they hardly even know. I know that because I am that way. I do not have any reasons why I should be nervous about it and feel that it's wrong. I guess, the only thing that bothers the OP is because this other girl told her about her fiance talking to her recently and when she did talk to her fiance, he denied it.

My question, if i were the OP, would be:
What was the context of the conversation?
What are my proof that she is not lying and just trying to cause trouble between me and my fiance?
What kind of relationship did my fiance have with this woman that my radar went off?

I believe in a woman's gut feel. But what are the chances that my gut feel is right/wrong this time?

chatting with other people (opposite sex, and not relatives or friends known to your partner) means looking for options, meaning partner is not sure about you or himself...if you don't feel comfortable about this, it's best to talk about it with him as early as now...maybe he doesn't think you're unconfortamble so you have to let him know

OK, so she was a previous online friend of your fiance's, and now she searches for you on Facebook just so she can tell you that she is chatting with him and then she leaves it at that? Sounds to me like she is jealous and is trying to cause trouble between the two of you.

Do you consider it cheating when your partner is chatting online with other people?

What are your thoughts about exchanging passwords with your partners? advisable or no?

How about considering the word TRUST and "innocent until proven guilty" mindset. headbonk.gif

Hmm... I am all for giving my partner the privacy that he needs especially with his job and all that is supposed to be classified info- work related. He does chat with other people - ALL of them I know personally. But he never chats online just for the heck of flirting - That's another story.

Despite that arrangement, my fiance makes it a point that I have all the passwords to his online accounts, emails, bank accounts, etc. In fact, now I monitor all his bills and sometimes does it for him if he can't get to them on time. He's never really hidden anything from me so it never raised a red flag and I am not nosy too so that makes him feel a little better. In fact, I tend to forget about the passwords all the time.

Nothing to worry about unless he intentionally just does not want you to be privy into info like these. FOr goodness sake, if you two are getting married and are going to share a lifetime together, that part should never be in question. Unless, he is hiding something.
