Thanks to all the VJ members here who gave me advice, told me to calm down and not worry, etc because my fiance is on that airplane right now and will arrive at JFK just before noon on Wednesday. I simply am in shock that the process was so much quicker than expected. I am way ahead of people who filed around the same time as Anh and I and I somehow avoided that IMBRA chaos, so praise be to God for that.

I just hope the customs officials do not try and take her DVD's and CD's. I've explained to Anh that the law is on her side, that she is allowed personal copies and should be polite, but stick stand her ground of the agent gives her problems.

We got touched yesterday and then received an e-mail that we had also been approved yesterday. It looks like CSC is busy getting out approvals.

That is an amazing list for CSC!!! I know there have been a lot but seeing it that way makes it all real. Wow... Approvals spanning 4 months in 5 days. Fingers crossed mine will be anyday now too

According to my VJ timeline I wasn't going to get approved until October. I feel so lucky to have gotten approved today :dance:

For those of you still waiting, especially people with NAO1 dates way before me, ugh, I'm sorry. :unsure: I remember when I was SO jealous of the other approvals. I am wondering since there are so many approvals all at once if it will slow down the process of going through NVC? What can we expect next? What is NVC'S actually role in this process? I mean do they set up the interview date or do they request anything from us? I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bulgaria and we were just notified that our fiancee petition has been approved!!!! Our RFE received date was July 12h and we were approved on August 4th!!!! My service here ends on Ocotber 17 and I was worried that my fiancee wouldnt be able to fly back on the same plane with me to america but now it looks like everything is going along so we can both go back together!!!

For those of you who have read my previous posts and know what was going on, we went back for the second time and after a lengthy conversation with the Supervisory Consular Officer, she approved us!!! There was a misunderstanding the first interview between my fiance and the Officer who interviewed him. Which, due to the language barrier, the officer thought he had no more evidence when in fact he had plenty, just not with him. So, we acted fast, called their offices a million times, got an appointment for them to "review" the case and I ended up being able to speak to the Supervisory Consular Officer and she ended up interviewing me instead of my fiance for almost an hour! So, her response to my 100 photos and over 2,000 printed e-mails was "God is on your side today, you can come by tomorrow and pick up your visa"........ and gave my fiance the thumbs up behind the window!!!!! I sincerely believe that it was because I was there and took control of the situation. I feel that because my fiance was alone the first time around, he was vulnerable.... and therefore it created a mess for us...... my suggestions, be there for your fiance...... it can make a total difference!!!!!!!

So, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you for your guidance, suggestions and experiences.... we have passed the most important step in this long process........ God Bless You All! Best of luck to those still on the way to eternal happiness!!!!!!

I wasn't even going to check my status today, because I needed to give my blood pressure a break. So then, I get a call from my lawyer's office with news that our petition was approved. What a NOA#2, for me? Really? Well, you shouldn't have. No, yes you should have...many moons ago. Whoo hooooo!

My head and heart took such a pounding from this process so far, I thought that I would feel more elated. USCIS sandblasted the luster off my shining star :star: . I need to go get my twinkle back. Bling, :star: bling, where is my bling, :star: bling?

We were touched on the 4th of August and Lisa kept saying that she felt we would get our NOA2 this weekend. As usual she was spot on!!!!!!!!!!!

What a weekend. I had just made reservations to go visit Lisa on the 1st of September for 18 days and made reservations for Lisa, myself, and our daughter Keira to go spend 5 days in Rome.

What a weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


For all of you still waiting in the que (especially for those of you who have been recalled and our fellow Marchers) stay the course, it will happen and we both sincerly hope that you all join us in the embassy que real soon!!!!

Our case has just been forwarded to the embassy last week. It took only one business day for NVC to do it. They recieved on Aug. 3rd and sent it out on Aug. 4 ! Amazing isn't it ?? Good luck to all VJ family, may God bless you guys.
