Hi! You have tons of stuff. You don't need to send copies of the passports, so if you decide to do that, just stick it at the end. So - I don't have any expertise in this, and I know some people do send actual photographs, but I was thinking that logistically, these are going to be hard to keep with the file. The pages we submit gets holes punched in the top and attached in a folder (I had heard this, but I also got to see our CR-1 folder at our interview). I'm just thinking that a bunch of 4x6 photos might get tossed if they don't fit in the filing system... I printed our electronic photo .jpegs on paper, which had captions describing each one. You could probably attach your photos to paper, like 2/page and write the info on the front? Or photocopy those pages to send? For my I-130 package, I sent photocopies of all the photos. Just a thought, to help ensure they remain included in your package.

I am just finishing off my application. Just wanted to run my list up the flag pole. Any suggestions/criticisms would be appreciated. I will send the package either later today or probably tomorrow once I'm completely satisfied I've done everything correctly.


• Copies of the passports
• Copy of Permanent Residence card
• Copies of our leases of our home
• Financial Records showing joint checking and savings accounts (including a letter from our bank, statements, a void check with both our names and copies of our bank cards.)
• Joint tax return transcripts from 2009 and 2008
• Copies of our social security cards and drivers licenses (showing same address)
• Copies of recent Auto Owners Insurance documents
• Copy of the title of our car, showing joint ownership
• Copies of T-Mobile phone statements, highlighting phone transactions
• Copies of our gas bills and a letter from the gas company showing joint names on the service
• Copies of our water bills and a letter from the water company showing joint names on the service
• Copies of our cable bill in my name only
• Copies of documents from the YMCA showing a joint membership
• Originals of 2 notarized affidavits from friends known to both of us since my conditional status was granted, and who have personal knowledge of our relationship and marriage
• Documents showing a vacation to Italy taken together
• Details of a magazine subscription given as a Christmas gift
• Copy of a document from a website provider showing a professional website purchased in wife's married name
• Copy of a document showing joint account with a professional printing company
• Copies of tickets to a Photographic exhibition in Washington DC, and a copy of a brochure from a trip to Colonial Williamsburg, in November 2008
• Copies of greeting cards between family members
• Copy of a receipt for dinner (our 3rd anniversary)
• Copy of an invitation to a party held by us
• Various photos taken over the last 2 years, with details written on reverse

I can't believe that my long period of dealing with the USCIS is about to end for some time. My wife now has her permanent card and her son just got his one year extension letter. We are in the last phase for almost ten years, unless someone decides to become a citizen.

For those of you transferred, please post and let us know if your timeline is improved because of the transfer. The caseload adjustment was supposed to speed up processing times. Remember that you can still involve your Representative if the transfer puts you outside the posted USCIS timeframs for approval. There is a Congressional Liason at USCIS that handles delayed cases, and there have been some positive posts in the past about late processing being sped up this way IF the case is past the USCIS posted time. hmmm... I filed an AR-11 online back in December, but never received any confirmation. I did not know that I was supposed to. My husband filed an I-865 for the affidavit, and he did receive a confirmation.

We have now moved again, and refiled the same forms with our new address. How long should I wait before checking to make sure the AR-11 was received, considering I didn't get a confirmation the first time?

First, let me apologize for starting a new topic. I also asked this question in a previous thread but feared that responses may get lost in the thread. Here's the situation...

Oops! We moved from New Mexico to Kentucky in August 2007. We did file the AR 11 but I (USC) failed to file the I-865. Never dug deep enough to realize it was a requirement. anyway, I plan out putting it in the mail ASAP with a letter of explanation ( I screwed up).

Does anyone think I/we will receive any negative outcome over this????? Any thoughts on other actions I need to take? Now I'm concerned!

How does a move from one service center jurisdiction to another affect a application already pending? Will it be transfered to the new service center? Will we go back to the end of the line?

Question: If an RFE were issued, would it be issued before or after biometrics or does it matter?

No this is kind of worrisome. They actually processed the Feb 11th case in less than 4 weeks for the most . I checked the list it looks like only 6 or 7 2/25 cases have been approved so far out of 18 and i have seen March cases approved. even if they work in batches , it's hard to explain how March transferees will be approved ahead of feb cases.

The other scenario could be that they moved back to process the CSC cases ( non transferees) right after June cases.


Hello i beleieve that there is a tremendous inconsistency in the USCIS processing of our cases crying.gif .I am happy for everyone that gets approved but its quite unfair that almost everyone filed or filing at California keeps on getting approved ahead of the transfer batch.I have stared at my mailbox long and hard praying for an envelope with USCIS paper telling me i am approved.But i am still waiting.I will soon see the March transfers approved and i will still be waiting.Soon the people who have filed today will be approved and i will still be waiting.I am getting really fed up of waiting.It's not a proper wait either , we get almost no information on our cases after transfers and are stuck in limbo waiting on a RFE, denial letter or approval daily.I liken myself to smeigel with the ring from the lord of the rings waiting on precious daily always looking for precious blink.gif .I hope the 02-25-2009 batch is approved soon.Thats when i was transferred and its been 9 months of waiting.Good luck everyone innocent.gif
