Congrats - my NOA1 date from CSC is December 7, 2005, so hopefully this means my approval will be coming fairly soon.

Russia, Ukraine and Belaruspetition is returned back to NVC
T&N,

The only number I was able to find for VSC is supposedly for "Premium Processing" cases only. Here is the paragraph from the CIS website:

Premium Processing: If you have an inquiry regarding a Premium Processing case, you may contact VSC at (866) 315-5718 or email your enquire to VSC-Premium.processing@dhs.gov. Please note that only Premium Processing cases will be entertained at this phone number and e-Mail address.

Other then that, the only other number they list is the national customer service number 1 (800) 375-5283!

Phew, Moscow finally updated their online interview schedule this morning, and Katya's is still there on the same date as before. That had me worried there for awhile since they hadn't updated it for two weeks because of the IMBRA cancelations!

T&N,
Sorry to hear about this bad news. What is your timeline? I don't see it anywhere on your posts.

My NOA1 date was December 7, 2005. NOA2 date March 7, 2006. My fiancee's interview is scheduled for June 5, 2006 in Moscow. I'm praying we aren't effected and the interview won't be canceled.

It scares me that they have not updated this schedule since May 5: Moscow Interview Schedule

Congratulations Slim!!!

I am also happy to post that Katya's interview was successful on June 5th, and she was approved for the visa! It took one week for delivery of the visa which she received via DHL on June 12th.

I don't have a lot of details about the interview because Katya is definitely not long-winded when explaining things like this to me. She did say it was very tough and they grilled her with a zillion questions. Apparently at first they were reluctant to approve her visa, but eventually she was able to convince them otherwise! I wish I could explain more about this, but really that's all I know...

She is finishing up some things at her University now, and we're planning to have her fly to America the first week of July most likely. I'm still debating on whether to have her fly to Atlanta or New York as her POE. I'm actually thinking of taking a few days off work and driving to New York to meet her! Then we could take our time driving back to Atlanta and stop at a couple fun places on the way. :)

Good luck to those still waiting!!

Congratulations centurion! My Katya's interview is on Monday, and I know I'm definitely worried about it. She has plenty of photographs of us together and copies of my boarding passes, airline ticket, etc, but copies of only about 5 or 6 e-mails. We communicate mostly through SMS (text messages) and an occassional phone call, but I use a prepaid calling card so that doesn't show any record of calling Russia. Oh well, I guess there isn't much I can do except keep my fingers crossed.... hopefully Katya is not as nervous as me!

John,

There is only one packet which your fiancee should receive, and it should have all the info she needs regarding what to bring to the interview. It will also tell the interview date (which you already know.) She won't need to return anything to the Embassy prior to the interview. I think usually the fiancees should receive their packet within a couple weeks after the Embassy sets the intervew date. If your fiancee hasn't recevied hers by about July 1, then you should probably contact the Embassy and ask them to resend the packet.

It's almost impossible to talk the Embassy into giving you an earlier interview date. I have only heard of one instance when someone got an earlier date, and that was because his fiancee was about 7 months pregnant! They wanted to have their baby in America, so the Embassy agreed to giving them an earlier date.
