K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2008 Filers	Hey you guys are starting to worry me now! talking of all this denial at POE!!! Im going nov 18th till jan 12th hopfully to spend time with my gf and her family for thanks giving and christmas! also it gives us a little more time living together! The only evidence i have is my mobile phone bill, a letter from my gf nanny inviting me to spend christmas with her at her house! and thanks giving at her sisters farm in west texas! so the thing is i will be staying at 3 addresses should i let POE know about these 3 addresses or just have a written out plan of my travels! because after our visit to West texas i will be staying at my gf! i may also have to leave my job so a letter from them is a no GO!! What address should i put down! on the form on the plane!!?? i will also be traveling back with my gf after she visits me in UK so she will be with me at POE and it will be devistating to be denied! anyone got any ideas! when i go through i figured i will say visiting my gf and her family for festive period! i want to say gf as i think it will not raise as much suspicion!	colinjess	Male	United Kingdom	2008-10-12 07:13:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Service centres	Hi There are only 2 servicecentres that deal with K1 visa's. Vermont or California.... Vermont is processing a little faster at the moment so hopefully you need to send it there. Look and download the instructions for the I-129f, it tells you where you need to send it! just look for the state you are in and it will tell you where to send it. If you send it to the wrong centre it will delay your journey as the I-129f will need to be sent to the right centre. Good luck with your journey. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	divorce question proof	hey everybody ! just a quick question that im confused on! my fiancee the USC was married before and has been divorced for about 2 years now! she was born anderson, and thats is her name in her passport now and thats what she goes by now! .. but her marriage name was roberson. so will we have to show proof of a name change? for the I129f. or the fact that all the info we are using to prove she is a USC, says anderson we will not need to show any proof? also when we send the divorce decree off what part of it do we photo copy as apparently its 50 pages long? i dont think she has the certificate! any help will be great best wishes and good luck to every one !!	colinjess	Male	United Kingdom	2008-07-20 19:03:00

Well i was reading some posts in the forums and it has confused me! about Co-sponsors and the I-130??? 1) what i read is that for the I130 you only need to make the 100% poverty line? Is this true?? rather than the 125% above for the I184! later used for AOS! My other query is... I dont think my fiancee will make enough money so we will need a co sponsor! 2) Is it OK for her retired grandmother to co sponsor me? does it matter that she is retired, and how would we show her sufficent income! she lives at the moment with her granddaughter and her great grandchild but only temporarily, she does not claim them on her tax returns! 3) So does this mean that she ony has a household size of 1 + me so she woud have to meet the criteria for house hodl size 2? or would she have to count them as well? any help would be great good luck to al on their journeys!	colinjess	Male	United Kingdom	2008-08-05 05:47:00

Yes she can providing she gets a tourist visa, sometimes they are denied as you have another visa pending (k1 or K3), i will be visiting my fiancee via the Visa wavier programme, but there is a chance i will be denied , so i have to show sufficent evidence that i will be returnign to my home country ( strong ties) 4. After the K-1/K-3 visa process is complete and she arrives in the U.S., would she be able to go to colleges in the U.S. and if so would she be eligible for grants/scholarships/etc.? the answer is yes, if you look on my page i have asked this question and there will be answers there that can help you 5. During the two-years following a K-1 marriage in the U.S., would she be allowed to leave the country to go on vacations with me and/or visit her family in Brazil or does she have to stay in the country for the entirety of the two years? when you Adjust status (AOS) you can file for AP (advanced parole) which entitles you to leave the usa, you can also apply for EAD ( employment authorised document). YES i would suggest using paypal! i had trouble with the bank because they wanted information that my OH didnt understand ! so paypal is alot easier! although there is a charge for sending money! i sent the fee for the I129f to my fiance and there was a$18 charge which you can choose to pay or leave it for your OH to pay! its up to you! The thing is i do not have much evidence of returning home! i will prob only have a copy of my open bank account , my phone bill and a copy of my direct debits out of that account that needs paying!! My work said they will write me a letter confirmng im returnig to full time employment!! ( does any know what they should say in the letter) i said they should not say anything about the visa!! but is there anything else apart from the dates they are giving me off and when i return to work !!
