My wife filed IR1/CR1 in April, On June 24, 2011 our I130 is approved now anybody knows what will be the next process ?

1. Is the next process is submitting financial support doc ?
2. Will they ask my wife to provide Financial support doc or from my when i go for my interview ?

I-130 guide related question

The OP came here to get an understanding (I would think so anyway). Hiring an attorney would cost more than "a couple of hundred bucks" and that's not guarantee that things would be done correctly. I have seen many posts from people here on VJ stating they have paid thousands of dollars to an attorney and the attorney screwed things up causing delays.

I have read out the following instruction that how to proceed I-130

I am confused in following steps

Question: We don't want any agent still we need DS-3032 ?

What is AOS ?

5) Pay Affidavit of Support (AOS - I-864) review fee $88 and Immigrant Visa (DS-230) fee $404, if generated. Payment status will be 'IN PROCESS' after the payment. In 1 or 2 days, the status will be 'PAID'

Questions:

My wife has already sent DS-230 along I-130 in the beginning
Do we need to file Affidavit of support online ?
I have received email from USCIS confirming our I-130 is approved but NOA2 didn't received yet will they guide us in NOA2 that what to do to file Affidavit of support ? ?

7) Express mail AOS packet and IV packet to NVC
What is that ?

You do not file 129 with 130. My lawyer did my petition and only 130 was sent.

I-130 can be filed without I-129f but what i found during conversation with USCIS agent that it may need waiting and more time if you don't file I-129f

My I-130 is approved but i called USCIS and i come to know the following.

I talked to USCIS today and Now I understand what we should of done, When we filed I130 we should of filed 129F with it, so when the petition is approve you can still immigrate on the 129f for 90 days, and within that time file I-485 adjustment of status to stay here.( in other words ),Instead of waiting for a visa number from the embassy/consular that has no processing time frame on when your name/number will become available, the 129f will allow you immigrate here until a visa number becomes available ,so expect to wait 2 months to 3 years.

Ds-230 fees

Immigrant visa bill. You also have to pay $88 for the I-864 which is also required. And there will be fees for your medical exam, as well as vaccinations if you need any. And let's throw in a little more for copies, document certification, express mail, and so forth.

Typically $650 - $1000 all in depending on your location and exactly what you need to do to get through the NVC/consulate process, assuming of course you already have an approved I-130.

That will be the IV bill generated by the NVC which will total $404. The fee itself is $330 and the security surcharge is $74.

NVC has 3 document sets for intake, the DS-3032, the AOS/I-864, and the IV/DS-230

USUALLY, all can get started at NVC
by the USCitizen Spouse calling into NVC,
getting a human, exchanging email addresses with the TeleOperator,
waiting a few days for the DS-3032 kit.

Once that kit is emailed out, NVC is ready to start the document intake
and is ready to start accepting fees from the USCitizen Petitioner.

There are also parallel streams, that are not dependent on each other, then one stream that IS dependent.

Packet 3 at Islamabad is similar intake on the I-129F to this document intake at NVC, there are different forms, different payment streams.
But they are not the same. The intake is similar, location totally different. Forms are different as well. I can't emphasis that enough - forms are different - they must be, is different visa type (K-1 vs CR-1)

Whilst YOU are reading the EZGuide, is your wife reading it ? You promised me you'd get those 3 wiki entries over to her, last week in a prior topic... Did she make that first phone call, or no ? Did she get an AOS fee bill in her email, or no ?

i-130 is similar to I-129F

My I-130 is approved and case is forwarded to NVC in the NOA2 i recieved stated that i should wait a month before i call NVC for further communication.

I was reading out the proceeding guide to I-130 as follows

In this guide i found next step would be submitting "DS-3032" and "affidavit of support" to NVC and paying them amount for processing.

My wife just told me that if we file "DS-3032" and "affidavit of support" in U.S or online then there is free for processing otherwise if these two forms need to submit outside of U.S then they are free.

I believe After approval of I-130 its processing similar to I-129F that NVC will assign a number to the case and will forward it to respective embassy, in my case my embassy will be in Islambad.

Then Islamabad Embassy will contact me and will ask me to provide DS-3032" and "affidavit of support" is that correct with other related documents ? and then they issue me letter for interview. that's what is told by the USCIS agent.

Meanwhile i will call NVC in 15-20 days and collect information what is the next step.

"Only when reviewed domestically" means it is reviewed at the NVC. If the initial petition had been filed overseas, then this would not be applicable.

After I-130 is approved in past NVC used to forwarded the case to beneficiary's embassy in, my case U.S embassy in Pakistan and rest of the process get process in beneficiary's country's U.S embassy.

Now I read in the following post that after approval of I-130 rest of the case is getting process in U.S not in beneficiary's country's US embassy??

NVC email with choice of agent and address form, i will print out the forms fill it in my hand writing will scan and send to my wife, she will print it again and will send back to NVC.

Q.1: if i fill the form in my hand writing is that ok ?
Q.2: After filling and signature over it i will scan and send it to my wife, my wife will print and send back to NVC, NVC will accept printed copy ?

AOS abd IV are not dependant on each other. Pay the AOS fee 88.00 and when the status changes to "PAID", you will be abale to print a cover sheet with bar code, which is required to send your I-864 packet.

Once you send your DS-3032 (Choice of agent) and after it is accepted, the IV fee will be generated. Pay the IV fee of 404.00 and when the status changes to "Paid", you will be able to print a cover sheet with bar code, which is required to send your DS-230 packet.

Once both AOS packet and DS-230 packets are found to be alright, your case at NVC will be closed and then they will finalize a interview date with the US consulate and inform you and your foreign spouse giving instruction on how to prepare for the interview - medical, immunization....

Two days ago we received letter from NVC they have given us

2. Assigned NVC number
3. Invoice identification number

Tomorrow we will send them choice of agent and address form.

I have a question related to following wiki information

AOS Packet
a. Bar-coded cover sheet
b. Completed and signed form I-864 by the petitioner
c. IRS tax transcripts for the last three years
(Call IRS at 800-908-9946 to order them for free)
d. Petitioner's employment letter
e. Petitioner's pay stubs for the current year

My question is related to 'e' that is it ok to provide last month pay stub or it has to bee complete 1 year pay stubs ? b/c already providing IRS tax transcripts for the last three years.

After paying 404 for IV packet

You don't need to wait for NVC to send or mail it to you the DS-230 form. You can download it and fill up that form. It MUST be the beneficiary who will sign that form( Part 1 only). You may help assisting the beneficiary on your DS-230. Once the barcode generated, attach it to your ds-230 and all other supporting documents and mail it...Do not forget to attach the ds-230 part 2 unsigned...

After paying 404 for IV packet should we send IV packet documents found in wiki or NVC will send us forms and will request to fill and send back to them ? Like in example of choice of agent and address form NVC sent us form and my name was printed over it and i used it fill and mailed it back to NVC.

If you can provide a Certified copy, go to that route instead of original. We planned to send our original marriage certificate but the last minute, we decided to not to and opted for certified copy...If you are worry about not getting your original back, just send certified...

If you are going to foreign country and accompaning your spouse, then it is you from 14 that will be in 31a.
If your spouse has children that will be accompanying her, then those need to be entered in 29 and will have to be included in 31a (if going to US later, then will be in 31.b).

Else it is "None" for both 31a and 31b

I understand 31b which is N/A for me, please explain more 31A still can't understand.

I am filling DS-230 having problem with following questions will some body help me out that what info they want in following questions.

31a. Person(s) named in 14 and 29 who will accompany you to the United States now. (What they want to know ? should i provide here info of my wife ?)

How NVC will notify us

At the time of getting NVC Case number from NVC, you will be required to provide email addresses of both spouses. NVC uses those emails to email the correspondence.
