Good to see on the card it says it expires on 12/3/19, just seems such a long way off. Anyway 1 year from now I can apply for citizenship and I will then be finished with USCIS forever, which sounds like heaven right now. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	October filers	Was having problems getting my driving license renewed with my extension letter so I made an InfoPass appointment to get my passport stamped. Was in and out in 10 mins, the woman said the DMV were being stupid for not accepting the letter. So before I left I went and spoke to the guy who does the biometric appointments (I had got friendly the 2 other times I have been there). I asked him if I could walk up early when I had my bio letter, rather than waiting for my appointment date. He said they are not suppose to, but he said if I had it with me today he would have done it as they were really empty. Email new output files to parent. Parent prints out, signs, scans in again, emails to you. Hehe, you're always online. Must I type in the fill entry? But since NVC hasn't sent out anything, I feel really like learning swimming on land. Now my biggest concern is convert files to pdf. Is it possible to send the blank docs to get a signature first then filled it up and convert to pdf? If I go EP, must the fill entry be typed in or could be filled by hand writing? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - February 2013	Called NVC yesterday in hopes of getting my numbers, but still nothing yet! Very hopeful that next week we'll be able to get some info, so we can get this show on the road! All of our paperwork is done and ready to send, so we're crossing our fingers that once we get all our numbers it will be a quick process. Interviews at our consulate seem to be backed up, and are taking upwards of two months to get scheduled, so we're aiming for an interview mid-April. My birthday is at the end of April, and a visa for my husband would be a great present! Fingers crossed! Lots of luck to everyone else! Hope February is a productive month. My case arrived at NVC about the same day as yours. I called today, not in the system yet. I'm not going to call tomorrow since it's the 1st day of a month. And will not call next Monday, plan on Tuesday. I think we should get our case numbers some time next week. Let's be patient yet working hard. Let us konw once you get your number. In one of the monthly threads, months and months ago, a member tried opting in BEFORE the AOS bill was invoiced and he ended up wasting weeks I believe to get back on track as it caused issues. He will call again tomorrow or friday, since we think will be the same story, and like you say it takes about 20min on hold. BUT also we wanna confirm the date when they received it, since the first time he called he was told that they received it on Jan 21st, and now they say it was Jan 23rd hehe Good luck!!! Jan 21st is Martin Luther King's day. It may have arrived there, but they didn't scan the package till 23rd. NVC should let you know the date they received your case, so you can better predict when will get a number. Mine arrived at NVC on Jan 21st, haven't got number yet. Actually in America you can celebrate any holidays, anyway you like, and people are most accepting. The only problem is America has by far less days off work than other countries. It is a petition for a single person, not a family. As far as I know it did not leave NBC. There is an interview with the head of VSC who sort of confirmed that they like to do family applications first. So there are 95 I-130s before and after mine that I've looked at for November 7th and 8th. 5 have been approved and 1 reaffirmed. 4 of those approved appear to be family ones as they are approved together and consecutive (64,65 and 09,10). I can't say the VJ estimate of January 9 to the 15th is looking so possible right now. As to others, I have absolutely no clue why some people are getting pushed through super quick. I almost can't bear to read it though. Thanks Nola123. I only wish we will have good luck. Now since Obama's policy on illegal immigration will be effective on March 4th, I'm worried USCIS will be overwhelmed by applications and slow down normal precessing time. I'm guessing that's the day of their mass data load into the system because that's when I could see the status online. Thanks. I found some information about the date in an old thread as following: You're petition has a bar code and everytime someones touches your petition they swipe the bar code and the 'last updated' on the website date changes. Sadly, they touch your application to count it, move it, or relocate it. It could mean it has been moved to an adjudicators desk, or it could mean your petition was moved from filing cabinet A to filing cabinet B due to a leaky pipe Don't put to much stock behind touches, some people get heaps of spread out touches during their journey, some get approved with no touches	Grace2013	Female	China	2013-01-07 15:44:00
