K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	My senator's office confirms that K-3s are being cancelled	Those ### holes can do whatever they want to. Pick which rules apply, and when to apply them. You are at their mercy. I recently received a RFE, sent them what they asked for. Two weeks later recd. another RFE, called to ask what second RFE was for, told me"I don't know, you must wait for the letter." Another two weeks has passed still no letter!!! I am finished talking to them, EVERYTHING will now go through my congressmans office. I encourage anyone outside normal time to do the same. Don't think the Admin. at USCIS gives a damn, if you do it is a mistake. The csc approves less than four petitions per day. We have always been open that she had a cancelled tourist visa. The consul did not care at all any documents about our relationship. He beat her up for 1 hour about her cancelled tourist visa. She almost passed out. They brought her water and candy. The consul wants to run her fingerprints one more time against a US data base, then she can pick up the visa on Monday. Yes, i am greatly relieved but this is tempered by the brutal treatment she got from the consul. THEN YOU MUST TAKE AND RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN A TWELVE HOUR MARRIAGE SEMINAR FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTRUCTOR. THEN YOU CAN PURCHASE THE MARRIAGE LISCENSE. AFTER FILLING OUT THE MARRIAGE LISCENSE IT MUST BE POSTED IN PUBLIC AT THE MUNICIPALITY WHERE THE WEDDING WILL BE HELD FOR TEN BUSINESS DAYS!! I do not think that made alot of difference. It is critical that the usc shows intrest. I had contact with the embassy three times a week or more. We had affadavits written by ten people having first hand knowledge of our relationship. Take you're time and be sure of the question before you answer. My wife was in the annex lobby all day. After the interview it took two months and seventeen days before the visa arrived. I am the US citizen, and was in constant contact with the embassy. Try to remember all the questions that was on the two pages, they will ask them again. It is important that you answer the questions. Our age difference is twenty six years.
