QUOTE (Rachael Turcotte @ Nov 28 2008, 09:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi everyone,

I need advise on what i should do, here is my story:
My fiance was deported, in january of 08. I just had our daughter in august 08. I have filled out all the paperwork for the fiance visa, I also have filled out the paperwork to waive the deportation. Then I found a sponsor for him to have a job as soon as he comes here. I am trying to figure out if i should send ALL these papers in together, or to send in the fiance paperwork with the deportation waiver, and send in the sponsor paper by its self.

PLEASE, if anyone has advise on what to do, or knows something else that will help our case, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me. i am desperate for some help here.

thanks so much

OK WE ARE WILLING, BUT NEED TO KNOW MORE...
WHY WAS HE DEPORTED?????

Hey everyone! :-) Apologies if this has been posted couldn't see it among the topics. I'm sure alot of us are all going through it! Any ideas on making last minute cash for expenses involved? savings of course help *But* theres lots of other things as we all know and its better to a little over what we need than not enough!

Main question i'm asking is; As i'm leaving England is it worth looking to see if any Tax rebate is owed to me? The way i see it i'm not going to be taxed here anymore but obviously in US instead! I can imagine this being one of those things where if you don't ask you don't get LOL! blink.gif

Thanks in advance for any ideas or help!

Russia, Ukraine and Belarushating on the "newbies"
I agree with my brother in arms, we have been through all the trials, and tribulations. My wife and I, were sixteen months getting her cr1 visa. Without support of the older members here, the mental, as well as the procedural part of the journey, would have been most difficult.
During our journey, I relied on advice from some of the VJ elders. Early on I determined which members I would rely on. They offered clear concise, proven instructions. Also, during the mentally trying times, there were members to offer moral support. I am most appreciative of both.
The time spent here, has allowed me to build friendships with a large, culturally diverse group. If not for these friends, VJ would be easy to leave. I am not comfortable giving advice that can delay, or prevent others reaching the ultimate goal. Therefore, I hang out in OT.
Awhile back, I noticed bad info being given. The person, was posting things that could have had severe penalties.
I started the NOOBS, Bad Advice Given thread. The thread morphed into a home for older members. After a few posts it became a fun place to hang out. We never intended it to intimidate, or cause hard feelings.....
peace out

I have tried balut - having spent time in the PI years ago. I once bet another American that he couldn't eat 20 of them. He did, and puked them up right outside the doorway of the bar laughing.gif My recollection is that they are not as bad if you get young ones, but the more mature (feathers etc.) are rough.

I am assuming that POE = point of entry to the USA. My fiancee will arrive later this month, and I assumed that all she needed to enter the USA would be put in her passport. What is this sealed envelope? She received this at her medical exam, but it was for her interview, not POE to the USA. I am confused. Can someone please explain further what she needs to have with her to enter the USA. Thanks.

the visa will arrive in a package, inside will be an envelope, marked do not open!!! DO NOT OPEN IT!!!!!

THIS IS WHAT SHE WILL SUBMIT AT POE....

Since he entered illegally he will be banned from the US for at least 10 years. He can apply for a pardon and see what happens but 1. he should hire a different lawyer or ask his present lawyer why he was missinformed. And 2, he needs to go to the US embassy for his interview because that's the only way he'll get at least some more information.

I don't think I understand the question. Is your friend's spouse currently in Mexico or in the US? Did the spouse enter the US illegally? Why didn't they file for AOS?

More info needs to be given out to try to understand the situation a little bit better.
