I am one of the old members (well, not so old but I have been here before the Phil Forum was created) and I have seen the difference between "our days" than today. The success of the Philippines forum is directly related to all of the people here being able to get along. When some "newbie" comes here they may not know, but when they post things that hurts one of us, it hurts all of us. Yes, a little respect, and alot of cooperation!!! Philippines	ROBBIE OF NSO IS INCOMPETENT!	Not only ROBBIE, many people involved with this whole system, are unable to do their jobs. Or maybe, they have enough security in their job, that performance, or accuracy doesn't matter. When they have peoples lives on hold, you would think that attention to detail is critical. However, there seems to be a lack of supervision at all levels. As has been said before, this system is broken. It needs to be scrapped, it does not need to be repaired. There needs to be accountability, at every level. The ones that do not perform need to be replaced. Today, at the USEM there was a lady who returned to give W2s. A prescreener told her "to never mind you have been denied." I am sorry, this is unacceptable, when did prescreeners gain the authority to decide the outcome. This person needs to be fired. This is not an isolated case. Awhile back there was a case when a petitioner was told his case was delayed because he had called to much. This person also needs to be fired. THE DOCUMENTS ARE ALL ON SECURITY PAPER. I, WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY CASES OF FORGERY HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED? I STRONGLY SUSPECT THE ANSWER IS ZERO!!! Philippines	Document verification - What a Screwed Up Mess	YES I AGREE, IT IS A SCREWED UP MESS FROM THE TOP. WE WAITED ABOUT SEVEN MONTHS FOR NOA 2. RECD. A RFE FROM THE NVC FOR DOCUMENTS THAT HAD BEEN SENT TO USCIS ONLY A MONTH BEFORE. HAD TO INVOLVE CONGRESSMAN TO EVEN GET NOA2. AFTER CONGRESSIONAL IT ONLY TOOK THREE DAYS FOR USCIS TO APPROVE OUR APPLICATION. AFTER A YEAR WE HAVE A APPOINTMENT DATE. BUT, AS TOU MIGHT HAVE GUESSED WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER MONTH AND A HALF FOR THAT! THEN WHEN WE GET THE INTERVIEW WE WILL BE WAITING AGAIN FOR THE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION, EVEN THOUGH IT WILL HAVE BEEN PAID FOR MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME. AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, THIS WHOLE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE TRASHED, AND ANOTHER WELL DEVISED PLAN PUT INTO PLACE. THE SYSTEM WE HAVE NOW IS BEYOND REPAIR. ONE OF THE MAIN PROBLEMS IS WHEN A PART IS NO LONGER EFFECTIVE, THAT PART IS NOT DELETED. INSTEAD THEY ADD ANOTHER STEP TO THE PROSCESS. THIS ONLY ADDS TO THE OVERALL PROBLEM AND MAKES THINGS MORE DIFFICULT. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY CASES HAVE BEEN REFUSED DUE TO DOCUMENT VERIFICATION. I SUSPECT THAT THE NUMBER IS NEAR ZERO. HOWEVER, THIS STEP ADDS REVENUE TO ANOTHER OF THE GOVERNMENTS INTRESTS. WHY CAN'T THE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION BE DONE AS SOON AS A CASE NUMBER IS ASSIGNED? Back in March, my fiancee called and talked to a Delbros person on the phone to confirm the payment was received. They told her that it was. We still ended up under the AR Doc Verification. Philippines	WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME TO PAY FOR DOCUMENTS VERIFICATION?	After you have a case number. The sooner you pay d.v. you can begin the all important follow ups! A month after paying, Delbros had not notified the embassy of our payment. The embassy had our case hard copy for two weeks, and still had not started the d.v. proscess!!! Lorrain told me that they were aware that the d.v. proscess was not working well. They will probably add a band aid approach. This is a large part of what is wrong with this whole system!!
