IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	I'm frustrated, I give up	Yes, I have felt that way on many occasions. This proscess is very frustrating. However there is alot that you can be doing to help. Try to develop a new hobby. Volunteer time with a civic organization. Anything to keep busy and not focus so much on what is bothering you! We all have felt like giving up at one time or another! It wsn't to long ago that I was looking to find a job in my wife's country. Our case was with the CSC for seven months. During this time I had thoughts of giving up many times. Then I had thoughts of finding a job in the Philippines, or, China, maybe in Australia. After doing the research which took several weeks and finding out there would be many more forms to fill, out and more waiting I decided to "stay the course". The point that that I am trying to make is you must come up with anything to take the thoughts off whatever it is that is bothering you. The answer to you're problem is inside. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	People waiting for cr1 visa August interview in Philippines	JUST AN EXAMPLE OF THE UNCARING NATURE OF THIS BROKEN INEFFECTIVE SYSTEM. WE WERE APPROVED THE THIRD MONDAY OF JUNE, REALLY WANTED TO GET A JULY INTERVIEW! WE WERE NOT ASSIGNED AN INTERVIEW UNTIL AUGUST SIX. WELL, WE HAVE NO CHOICE JUST WAIT.. PAID DELBROS, RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION. WAITED TWO WEEKS, CALLED THE EMBASSY. WAS TOLD BY LORRAIN THEY HAD NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM DELBROS. O.K., WHY SHOULD THIS BE ANY DIFFRENT THAN THE REST OF THIS SCREWED UP PROSCESS?? MADE A CALL TO DELBROS, ASKED TO SPEAK TO ROBBIE. WAS HUNG UP ON THREE TIMES! THE FOURTH CALL, I TOLD THE OPERATOR THAT MY WIFE WAS THE NEICE OF THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE PHILIPPINE SUPREME COURT. AND ALSO TOLD THE OPERATOR THAT I WOULD HAVE HIM ON THE PHONE IN MOMENTS. ROBBIE ANSWERED THE PHONE INSTANTLY. I TOLD HIM THE SAME THING. HE SAID"I WILL FORWARD THE INFO TO THE EMBASSY AT ONCE." CALLED LORRAIN, SHE SAID THE REQUEST WAS JUST FAXED TO THEM. SHE ALSO SAID THAT SHE WOULD REQUEST DOCUMENTS VERIFICATION TODAY. WELL, MAYBE THINGS WILL BE BETTER NOW...NOT! WAITED A WEEK, MADE A CALL TO THE EMBASSY. THIS TIME I TALKED TO GRACE. EXPLAINED TO HER THAT I WAS FOLLOWING UP DOCUMENT VERIFICATION REQUEST. I TOLD HER THAT WE HAD BEEN OVER A YEAR AND DID NOT WANT TO BE DELAYED. THEN SHE SAYS " WE DELAY PEOPLE FOR ALL SORTS OF REASONS, NOT JUST DOCUMENT VERIFICATION"!! IT WAS AS IF SHE ENJOYED SAYING IT. SHE HAD THE ATTITUDE THAT WE ARE IN CONTROL, AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT WILL HELP SPEED US ALONG. I SUPPOSE THAT THEY JUST DON'T CARE. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	ANT OTHER DOCUMENTS NEEDED	WE HAVE RCD. THE NOTICE TO VISA APPLICANTS. ALL DOCUMENTS NEEDED AT THE NVC HVE BEEN RECEIVED. THE LETTER LISTS ALL DOCUMENTS AS YES /DOCUMENT COMPLETE/ REVIEWED, ORIGINAL DOCUMENT RECEIVED, OR FORM NOT NEEDED. THEN IT STATES THAT THE APPLICANT IS STILL REQUIRED TO BRING ALL ORIGANAL DOCUMENTS TO THE INTERVIEW. WHAT THE HELL? I DO NOT HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS. I ONLY HAVE SOME OF THE PHOTOCOPIES. WE ARE CR1, CAN ANYONE WHO HAS HAD CR1 INTERVIEW IN MANILA, PLEASE INFORM ME OF WHAT IS ASKED FOR. Perhaps I should go back to the originsal plan and apply for UK one... even though we both hate it in the UK. Or call an immigration lawyer. Anyone know a good one in FL? other people have applied for visas, for both countries at the same time. I was within 50 days of leaving the US, when ours came through. had already signed power of attorney, allowing my adult son to liquidate the property. It seems like illegal immigration, is all that is newsworthy. I was married for sixteen months before we could live together.
