Middle East and North AfricaThe Laws of Islam

Gupt thanks again for taking away my right to ignore.

I didn't take away your right. You just aren't exercising your right properly.

If you do not wish to see szsz's posts at all, it is clearly not sufficient to only ignore her. You must also ignore me and anyone else who might respond to her with her post embedded in theirs.

If that solution doesn't satisfy you, you could always set your house on fire and hope your computer burns down with it.

True enough but you quote her only because you know I ignore her with the goal of bringing it to me.

ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! about you again, layla, huh??

Middle East and North Africahuh?

I dont post an aweful lot, I've just been kinda lurking around on this thread, but I'd been praying for Icyspots since she'd been waiting so long for the NOA2 and just curious if she was in fact 'denied'...

Bill

do you honestly need her to post to say: i was denied? trying to illegally bring your fiance/husband into the US via Canada in the trunk of your car and getting caught ... will most likely yield a petition denial.

not sure why this concept is so hard to grasp!

Gimy, For your imformation, Icey never tried to bring her fiance into the country in a trunk. Yacine has never been to North America. You need to stop spreading lies. You do not know what you are talking about. And the lies you are spreading are very hurtful and untrue.

Meriem (F)

then i stand corrected, if what you say is the truth ... for you are the first to come forth and deny this insinuation since it's arrival to VJ over a week ago. it was never my intention to recriminate, but the issue at hand was brought forth straight to jamie and she never refuted, nor invalidated, the claim herself that shannon made.

thanks for the clarification!

Damn, did that really happen? Just wondering where you got your info from? I guess I'm not as active on VJ, cause I never heard of that until now. Guess I'm out of the loop!

you would have to pay me to stir up that shite again!! if you have a few hours ... do some VJ searching! ;)

maybe a cheap shot ... but her absence was the most perfect time to use it!

you ladies obviously know her reasons for leaving and have probably been asked not to disclose them, so at this point .... we can say whatever we want!! :dancing:

So you prefer to make cheap shots when the person is not here to defend themselves?

I don't know anything about her absense and I sure we will all find out soon. So you are celebrating that she is gone?

you do remember that you are responding to me, right!?!? :P   i make cheap shots to & about anyone regardless of their VJ status or lack thereof.

gimygirlFemale02006-09-30 11:24:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresTax question about ITIN and nonresident spouse
i'm sure you wife has the required documentation to submit the W-7 with your ITR, since you have an interview coming up in two weeks. i'm assuming BC and passport.

You can submit copies of original documents if the copies are: Certified by the issuing agency or official custodian of the original record, or

a. National identification card (must show photo, name, current
address, date of birth, and expiration date).
b. U.S. driver’s license.
c. Civil birth certificate.
d. Foreign driver’s license.
e. U.S. state identification card.
f. Foreign voter’s registration card.
g. U.S. military identification card.
h. Foreign military identification card.
i. U.S. visa issued by the U.S. Department of State.
j. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) photo
identification.
k. Medical records (dependents only).
l. School records (dependents and/or students only).

Notarized by a U.S. notary public legally authorized within his or
her local jurisdiction to certify that the document is a true copy of
the original. To do this, the notary must see the valid, unaltered
original document and verify that the copy conforms to the original.
U.S. notaries public are available at U.S. embassies and consulates
worldwide. Foreign notaries are acceptable as outlined by the Hague
Convention.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresTax question about ITIN and nonresident spouse
why are you filing separately?? especially since she has no income! you should file jointly for a bigger break and most probably a bigger return (if you are due one).

for her to receive an ITIN, you will need to file a W-7 along with your tax return.

gimygirlFemale02006-01-28 20:43:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresIts our first time to be touched?
try not to get your hopes up in regards to the touching ... (that doesn't sound right! )

as for your case ... when your online status changes dates - that means that the person on working on your file 'touched' it and actually did some work.

now .... some people are:

*never touched and approved

*never touched and RFE'd

*touched once and then approved

*touched several times and approved

*touched several times and RFE'd

see the pattern here?? unfortunately, there is no way that anyone here on VJ can tell you if you case will or will not be touched and how many times.

as for the processing dates, they usually give you the maximum time but most people find they receive their NOA2's well before the 900 days are up.

best of luck to you!

that's all fine and dandy but if the immigrant decides not to become a citizen there is squat all the sponsor/co-sponsor can do about it and they WILL be held responsible should the need arise.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresBenificiary birth certificate
you should have already supplied your fiancee with your I-134 and supporting documentation and the extra copy of your original I-129F petition package. as i did not supply my BC in my I-129F petition, i did not send an original to london with my fiance for his interview.

your fiancee is to have all originals on hand for her interview ... with that being said, i highly doubt that the london embassy will ask for them ... they are very lax!

best of luck!!

to piggyback lorelle's comment ....

your BC is only needed to as proof of US citizenship ... you can also provide a full copy of your passport (every page needed - even the blank pages)
your fiance(e)'s BC will be needed when they attend their interview at the embassy.

I can't see your posts is there something wrong with me? They are all blank :(

And now I can't see mine in the one above. :hehe:

i can see mine .... and i can see yours!!!!! :hehe:

hello stacey!!!!

anyway ... even thought NOA1s are nothing, you're right .... it still feels like you've accomplished something!

best of luck to you for a speedy journey!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFrustruated
you're right .. sometimes it doesn't seem helpful when you are venting about waiting.

it's SUCH a subjective subject. this has always been an issue here at VJ because everyone's timeline and visa journey is individual.

you will never know why someone breezed through in days ... yet someone else may take months. did the person working on your case take a week's vacation? maybe they were sick for a few days? maybe the had to check out some additional information regarding your case?

there is no rhyme or reason as to why someone's case goes quicker or takes longer than another, but i think some people from other SC's felt it was a slap in the face that you were already questioning where your NOA2 was because you were filing via VSC. as the letter says ... it could feasibly take anywhere from 30-45 days.

not an excuse, but more of an explanation of the reception you received today (which was about the same that you received on your old thread).

gimygirlFemale02006-01-28 21:43:00

maybe she's expecting new reactions from the same people (since this was already posted in the old forum) ...

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFrustruated
haven't we been over this before??? you need to give it at least 30, if not 45, days before you become frustrated.

just because you are going through the VSC does not guarantee an immediate NOA2.
