MEAN girl threads rock!!! the discord displayed in the majority of the loving religious posts is quite ironic.

i thought the disclaimers were a great idea (easily highlights the drama threads for us now) but its become evident that you can't please everyone in your forum.

Its called profiling. You came to this specific forum to insult specific women.

Gosh. Racism and bigotry

yes it was necessary, shon! you call it a dark cloud, noura ... i call it the truth. this post is certainly not directed at everyone who posts in this forum, but a large number of ladies who have embarrassed themselves with their behavior over the past few days.

you lot do nothing but bicker ALL day long and then the minute something positive happens you all chime in. some of you can be so insulting, manipulative, backstabbing, rude, contrived, impudent, etc that when it comes to congratulating someone ... it appears downright feigned and insincere.

i will not be surprised in the least if this irony is lost on some of you girls, as worrisome as that is ...

Shannon and Sarah, You know what he is saying and you know that English is obviously not his native language...Do you always laugh at people's broken english? I feel bad for your husbands and their families. Something is wrong with you two.

dawn ...

sarah has short term memory issues ... she is part of the 'do as i say not as i do' group of posters. don't try to help or point out the err of her ways or you, too, will be lashed out upon. perhaps being called one of the rudest posters here as well. she is unable to step back and own her actions. *shrugs*

i wonder if that was her fiance posting and someone responded in such a fashion ... how she would feel?

100% insane.... how can someone go from being so rude to being so gosh darn sweet?

Since I have been a member here your posts remain the rudest, the meanest and the most senseless things I have ever read.

it is really sad to watch you guys twist, spin and infer comments made to you in this forum. you continue to deride me, but unlike the rest here i am not affected by it so i will not get into a slinging match with you!

haha, then why do you keep responding?

there is a difference in continuing to post versus getting into a sullied slinging match with someone. notice how my response are not negative or put downs to anyone's character, but merely observations and/or questions?

Thanks Mom!

I think everyone in this forum needs to take a moment to thank gimy, shon, and charles for helping us have more clarity in our lives and for reminding us how to act. What would we do without you?

it would be nice if you could try and effectively comment on the subject at hand with intelligence rather than contention. it's unfortunate that you would just rather perpetuate the issue than address it.

not quite, JP ... as i prefer to be honest with someone rather than downright rude with the sole purpose of attacking or maliciously trying to hurt their feelings.

100% insane.... how can someone go from being so rude to being so gosh darn sweet?

this should be a no-brainer coming from you, sarah!

Sowy to burst your bubble but I have never openly accused someone of fraud, called them drugs addicts or told everyone someone hates Islam etc.

what you've cited is not the quintessence of rudeness ... maybe if you cogitate for a bit you'll realize that you are not without fault.

I never said that I'm perfect or without fault but I never run my mouth and go around accusing people of things that I have no right to accuse them of such as the things I listed above. Maybe you need to go back and read her posts? Mmmk now.

there is no need for me to reread anyone's post ... i have a very good memory! i also never denied that she is an extremely rude person. your statement was not about accusations but about rudeness, which you have been an equal contributor.

this is the only forum that likes to use the term 'police' when your behavior gets called into question. there is a difference with being outright rude and making a truthful statement. sorry if many have mistaken the truth as coming across as rude, i forgot that your forum is 'do as i say, not as i do'.

it's quite disturbing though to see a group of women who used to be so supportive of one another turn into a pack of metaphorical cannibals. i'm not the only one who has noticed, i'm just one of the rare few that will actually make a public comment regarding such.

you can take my post here and spin it as much as you like, but the fact remains that you have not been a shining example of what your relationships, religion, and/or faith should in fact be.

IMBRA Special TopicsREASON FOR IMBRA ???

American women, on the other hand, have relatively access to background check information on Americans and know the system a whole lot better than women from the developing countries where the mail order bride agencies recruit from.

absolutely .... both american men and women have access to background checks on other USC's.

unfortunately, this is another law, unless it affects you directly, that people will ###### about. and by affecting you, i mean: your sister, aunt, cousin, etc came to america and was abused/tortured/killed at the hands of someone that has a violent history. you would be outraged that there was no check on the USC.

it's a safety net that adds a bit more of a wait ... but at least you know you will be together. if your criminal background is clean accept the wait and move on to better and more productive issues.

IMBRA Special TopicsShould I be concerned? NOA2 recall-IMBRA
that is a really difficult question to answer. unfortunately, this is one the you and your fiance will have to decide on and make togther.

there are no definitive answers yet to how much of a delay these recalls are making. i would call your wedding venue and ask what would happen if you needed to re-schedule your wedding date. i would also call your wedding guests that have purchased airline tickets, to call the airline and ask what the charge would be to switch dates as well.

best of luck and i wish you a speedy journey!

i will not, nor should should anyone else here (according to the TOS) advocate anything less than honesty.

if you choose not to go the honest route ... be prepared to deal with the consequences should they occur, no matter how improbable that seems at the moment.

Don't let dmartmar bother you, tigretigre. He enjoys going into topics whose titles sound controversial and seeing who he can tick off or insult.

So, it appears that TracyTN has the list -- who's posts are worthy of response and who's posts are not ---

always remember before slagging someone else off ... that your post is above criticism!

What a wave of response --- I am of the belief that everyone has a viewpoint and "yes" a finger was pointed in the comment back to tigretigre but, it may have also made tigretigre take another look at her situation from a different angle --- there have been several posts just like the one that appeared to hurt some feelings --- In defense of any post that does not come across as "Everything will be OK" is that we spare some feelings at the interview by sharing both the positive and negative aspects of a situation so a person is well informed and prepared for anything -- because a big ANYTHING always seems to happen --- all we have is information to arm ourselves with in preparation for this whole nightmare of a VISA process --- As evidenced I don't read every post on this site But some of you folks just stand out from time to time ---

guess i don't stand out from time to time because you would realize that i'm not of the mindset that 'everything will be ok' whenever someone posts about an issue ... hence my response here ...

tracy merely suggested that tigre ignore dmart ... it was clear that he didn't have a grasp of the actual situation and he likes to spin things! a persona attack on tracy was not warranted, IMHO.

this site is really useful for anyone going through this process ... it's hard to talk to our families and friends who just really can't relate (no matter how hard they try) when we try to explain what we are going through. we all have our own sob story .. noone's better (or worse) than the other's!

try and remember that this site is not a popularity contest and there is no 'in crowd' ... there are certainly friendships that have formed through this site and you get to 'know' people from their posting habits!
