K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJanuary 2011 Filers!!!

P.s. Are any of you suppose to be working right now?? I see like 7 people on this page. I don't know about you but i'm struggling more and more with keeping my focus on work. Even though my boss is so awesome I'm having troubles keeping focused. Somehow knowing that I'm done, and that Canada wont be my home much longer, sure does force me to have to MAKE myself work!

Me too!!!! I can't concentrate on anything else it seems... actually just wrote my boss an email asking if it would be possible to: 1. Drop down to 4 days a week starting in March so I can pack up my apartment and: 2. Take a leave of absence for May - June so I can go keep my love company in Japan for a while while he's working and while we are waiting the 5 - 6 - 7??? months until NOA2. Fingers crossed it can be done but if not I'm going anyhow, just would be nice to have something to do and money in the pocket when I come back to take care of the inevitable RFE and for the interview.

Off to hit send now... wish me luck

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJanuary 2011 Filers!!!

I know exactly what you mean. I left from visiting my fiance two weeks ago, and it already feels like forever and we will only see each other once more for two weeks in March and after that we will be apart for 6 months until hopefully I can fly to the U.S. visa in hand. I can't even fathom not seeing him for that long. We have gone through long times apart like this, 5 months, 6 months, but since last August we've never been apart longer than 6-9 weeks. But hey, just knowing this will be the LAST time being apart for so many months, because after that we will go and be with our loved one for good! I try to remind myself of that and it usually makes me feel better

We are the same, not longer than 6 - 9 weeks and that's about all we figure we can stand. The distance and time is so hard, but Skype, email and phones sure help. I'm fortunate to be able to go visit my man while he's working in Japan. I can only go from Feb 18 - 28 due to work but I am hoping, that since there is another job there after this one, I will be able to pack up my apartment and leave work to hang out there with him for a couple months until our reply and RFE comes in. I'm just a little concerned about being away to receive notices etc. Since I filed early January do you think getting back to Vancouver in late June or early July be about the right timing? Looks like it's running over 5 months wait to hear ANYTHING for a lot of people.

I will try to relax but VSC is making it so hard :innocent: But it's good to know I'm not the only one obsessing..or at least trying to obsess

Anyone else who got their E-notification this week been able to check their case status online? Just curious

I was able to log on a few days after our e-notification.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJanuary 2011 Filers!!!

I'm so happy to be a January filer and to have found this forum ^_^ everyone is so nice and supportive, I feel much better about the upcoming months knowing there are others who are going through the same. And my hubby to be is the same, he always remains calm and all "it'll be fine" whereas I get worried and stressed out. And patience is not one of my virtues either :innocent:

Hm, maybe that's the reason why they put your number into the online system faster. Good point. I guess I'll have to wait and see. :P

Oh that makes me feel so much better, seeing as we have an identical timeline :) it's not just me then, hopefully VSC will put our case numbers into their system soon.

This is a great group!!!!

We just got the hardcopy of our NOA1 in the mail - at least that's what I think it is... it went to his mom's in Virgina then she has to forward it to me in Vancouver so it'll be a bit before I can actually see it first hand.

So is this the point where we wait the 5+ months before hearing anything more? Do we have to wait the 5+ months before hearing if we get an RFE? I am going to be going to Japan a few times before the end of summer but don't want to be away and miss anything I need to get done here. It would be nice to know the approx. timeline... highlight approximate.

Yep, that goes both ways ;) and looks like I really will stay a January filer because...

We got our NOA1 notification email and text last night  I know we could still be RFE'd for the abbreviation but I'm prepared for that and from experience I see RFE's are usually resolve quickly. So I am not worrying about that now
Have not been able to check case status online yet, so I'm waiting for my fiance to receive the NOA1 hardcopy to fill in my timeline :)

YIPEE!!! Congrats on your NOA1!!!!

You're sweet :) I don't know what I'd do without this forum, it's my lifeline these day, haha. I do hope we get a NOA1 soon but if not, that at least we'll get the packet back next week...I want to remain a January filer. I got comfortable in this thread

I'm so happy I found this site too... it's really a relief to be able to share the experience and everyone is so nice and helpful. (L) Glad to have met you and that you are a January filer - that won't change!!!

Try not to worry too much about the paper... I'm sure it will be ok.

:luv:

It means they accepted and are processing your packet.
So you should be fine for now.
You might still get an RFE at some point, but your packet wasn't rejected.

Since you're at Vermont, you should be able to access your case status online and see your NOA1 date.
Others have been able to.

Thank you. After reading about all the other stuff people included with their applications I feel a bit better about just sending the basics... don't mind getting an RFE, I've got mostly everything ready for when it comes.

Just realized my NOA1 first date was Jan. 10th when we got the notice... now I wait for the receipt to be delivered to his home state side, then forwarded to me in Canada and then depending on what is in it scan it for him in Japan or bring it with me when I see him in February... this whole thing has really made me use what patience I have but he's sooo worth it. :luv:

Does anyone know... If they cashed the cheque, provided a Receipt Number and said they are sending the Receipt Notice (Form I-797), does that mean they will not be rejecting the forms but may be sending a request for more informtion if needed or do they still have to look over the forms and then if there is an error on them will send the whole thing back?

So I don't keep bugging everyone, is there a step by step that answers questions like that? Thx.

I'm so scared we will get our petition back right now as I abbreviated for "State or Province" in Part B, Question 15 :( If this whole process is pushed back, worst case scenario into February, our plans for our wedding are pretty much shot. Oh boy...sorry, just needed to vent. *sigh*

Fingers crossed for you two and a big HUG. With my sweetheart out of country when they request more info it's going to take forever for them to get forwarded from home and this is going to cause some delays I'm sure... *sigh* too!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJanuary 2011 Filers!!!

Ah, gotcha. I just checked your timeline and it showed the 17th for I-129F sent. ;)

Sending in information now will not change anything, it will most likely just get lost and one should always wait to get an RFE which specifically requests more evidence before sending any documents in. You will most likely get an RFE as you should have provided Letters of Intent of both you and your fiancé(e), proof of citizenship of the USC, proof of having met in the past two years (boarding passes, hotel receipts, passport stamps etc.) and passport type photos of both beneficiary and petitioner attached to the biographical sheets. I thought these information are included on the official I-129F instructions that USCIS has on their website. Cover letter and photos are not strict requirements, but don't hurt either. I don't know what exactly you have provided with your petition, but if it was really only the I-129F form and two G-325A, you will definitely get an RFE. You don't really have a choice but to sit it out and wait :( and of course prepare all necessary documents to sent in right away after you get an RFE. ;)

Ugh, I knew I should have done more research before sending. He's away working any how and not sure of his schedule so I guess, besides wanting to be together, there is no urgent rush. Thanks for the info

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJanuary 2011 Filers!!!

Hello there, welcome :) Just checking if I understand correctly: You only sent out the petition yesterday and already today have gotten the E-notification email that they accepted and rerouted the petition to your service center? Woah  We sent ours out 6 days ago and nothing yet...

Hi and thank you. No I think I got that wrong. We sent the package to the Lockbox on the 11th - the cheque was cashed by the 14th and yesterday we got notification that the Lockbox sent it to Vermont, now we are waiting the 7 days for the notice from Vermont saying that they have received it, at least that is what I am understanding the timeline is.

Now I'm not sure if I should be sending all the back-up that this website is saying I should have included with the package??? I will be visiting my fiance in Japan at the end of February (he's there working for 3 months) and wondering if I should be bringing more forms for us to fill out and affidavits etc??? :help:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJanuary 2011 Filers!!!
Just received our USCIS Acceptance Confirmation by email that the Dallas Lockbox has received our application/petition and routed to the Vermont Service Center for processing.

After looking at this website (which I wished I had found before sending out the forms) I realize that we did the minimum necessary based on the USCIS website. We only sent the I-129F and the Biographical info sheet for each of us. No cover letter or separate declaration letter and no statements or photos... it didn't ask for ANY of that... now I'm worried they will turn the application back. I have all of that info but was waiting for them to ask for it at my consulate appointment but wondering if I should send it separately. Any advice???

Thank you,

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresFees

Can anyone give me a comprehensive list of all the fees (& possible extra fees) that are associated with the IR-1/CR-1 Visa process? I'm talking from the amount for mailing Forms to the government, to the actual fees of Forms ($420 for I-131,etc), to medical exams, to possible fees (if the alien spouse has to get vaccinations), etc. etc. etc.

I'd love to get a good feel for how much I'm in for before I start the process so that I won't be blindsided down the road.

Thanks in advance!

Fees have changed as of November 23, 2010 and can be found on the USCIS webpage, http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis - link to the left under the Customer Tools Before I File section. Sorry I don't have any info on extra fees.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-129 F petition approved!

I dreamed of this day. The day that I, too, could share with my fellow VJ members that my I-129 F petition has been approved. I have been feeling down these last few days and I have been checking my USCIS account often. I checked it yesterday and there was nothing new; the same tired last update date of 09/01/2010.
Today, after reading the VJ forums for a while, almost without hope, I ventured to log in to my account at the USCIS website and what do I see? A last update date of 01/24/2011! I did a double take, really? I opened my tired eyes wider. Clicked on the receipt number as I dialed the USCIS customer service line (was it approved or will I get a RFE?). But my case status is clear:

"On January 24, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

The automated USCIS voice was reading outloud what I was reading on the website.
After 150 days my petition has been approved. Today, I also received the news that my vacation has been approved and I will be able to go see my love for Spring break. I will go to the DR this March before going back, once again, for the interview.

Best wishes to all and may you, too, receive approvals soon (F)

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresInterview Problem

Ok thats what i thought.

Thank goodness for VJ, i think i would be screwed without everyone here!

Here here!!! I also wished I had found this site first... as it seems our application is lacking in further evidence (no pics, passports copies or proof of relationship included).

Since we didn't have a photocopier handy and needed to mail off the application before my future husband left to work overseas, we made sure to sign 3 of each document sent so that if required we would at least have that.

Now I'm working on gathering and organizing the documentation for the inevitable RFE notice ... in 6 months???

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresReplying to REF - A timing question
I've looked around and can't find this info so I'm hoping someone on VJ will know the answers or point me in the right direction.

When you receive your RFE how much time to you have to provide the information?

The reason I'm asking is that I may be with my fiance in Japan (him working - me visiting while we wait for our RFE or NOA2) when the request gets sent to his home in the US - which will then have to be either forwarded to us in Japan or if I'm back in Canada forwarded to me here. I have pretty much gathered everything I expect they will ask for so we're prepared... I just want to be sure that any of the requests don't expire and the process has to be started all over again... that would be just awful!

Thank you. :luv:

Mark and I Skype every day, sometimes up to 4 times and I wanted to use that as proof of our relationship in the event that we get an RFE and to add to the info I'll bring to the interview.

I heard that there was a way to print out a list of Skype sessions showing date, time and length but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Does anyone know how this is done?

Thx. :luv:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresScrewed Up! Just sent in form and fee!

Please read my update near the end of Page 3. :)

If you only sent in the I-129F, the payment, and the Biographical Data sheets.... do what I did!!! (It's all on page 3!)

Thanks. I read your info but what exactly did you send to add to your package? I'm dealing with a timing issue where my USC fiance will be out of country a couple times during our process so I need to try and time things (as best I can) so that he's states side when the paperwork comes so an RFE wouldn't be the end of the world.
Ugh, this is such a difficult and confusing process... but so worth it to be with my forever guy! (L)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresScrewed Up! Just sent in form and fee!

So I wasn't even thinking.. I read the directions for the I-129F and thought that all the stuff they were asking for was to be brought to the interview. It was only recently that I realized... they wanted all that stuff with the form!

I just sent in the fee and the I-129F form. That's it. I have all my paperwork, such as divorce papers, Statement of Intent, G-325A forms... Now I'm waiting (not patiently) to call them on Monday. I need to see if they will let me mail in all my stuff to add to the form I mailed in. If not, I'll have to wait to be denied, then re-file, which will cost me more money.. and most importantly, more time! Our petition is schedule to be reviewed in Feb. I got my NOA1 saying the form was accepted on 9/14/10 and is due to be reviewed.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Will they let you mail in the information and just add it to your form? Seems like more work for them to deny it and then make me totally reapply...

.. Boy, I feel so incredibly stupid. Anyone have any advice at all? (And please, no telling me how stupid I am.. cause I already feel awful enough as it is..) :(

That's what I read in the directions too, that the passport photo's, proof of relationship and letter of intent, etc was for the interview only. It's unfortunate that the USCIS website isn't more specific about what to send in. I read on there that you only need to send in the cheque, I-129f, G325A for each of you and the form for getting email notification (optional) so that's all we sent in and didn't get the package rejected but we will likely get an RFE. I understand if they cash the cheque and send the package to the VSC or CSC that it has been accepted and will not be rejected and that an RFE (or in some lucky cases NOA2) is the next step, hopefully that is correct.

I'll be keeping an eye out on this topic for any more info but I sure wished I'd found this website before filing.

Good luck you to... to all of us for a speedy and successful process :luv:

Keep in mind by they time of interview the I-134 may be a bit stale. If you did not attach a copy of 2010 IRS return to it, the consulate may ask for a newer I-134 with newer tax return attached.

Oh right... thank you. I'll have him hang on to it until his taxes are done - I can get all that together when I'm with him in Japan while we wait out the 5 months or so.

Can't help getting a little ahead of myself it seems, just want to be prepared so we can be together forever as soon as possible. :luv:

The paralegal that I used forgot to submit my G325A, I was worried but it has only been 2 weeks since my NOA1 so what I did was fill our a G325A for both my fiance and I and I wrote a cover letter as well as the copy of our NOA1 I wrote a letter describing the error and also sent my letter of intent notarized with more pictures I have my tracking number but do you think once it gets to the VSC that they will put it with my packet?

Good question - thanks for posting. I was considering sending a letter of intent, pictures, and more info on the relationship (maybe even the affidavit of support I-134) as we didn't include anything except the I-129f and G325a forms. I'm hoping by adding this info to our petition it would help bypass an RFE and take us straight to NOA2 - but don't want to screw things up by adding any confusion and difficulty for VSC. Fingers crossed and wishful thinking.

I'm looking forward to reading the responses.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresExtended US & International travel while awaiting K1

I was wondering what the rules are for travelling during the K1 processing time.

I don't mean just a weekend here or there but going to stay for 30 - 90 days (or however long is legally allowable) in Japan and/or US to be with my fiance while we wait. I would travel back for any appointments of course. We have just applied for my K1 visa so we are in the early stages and don't expect to hear anything back for 5-6 months as per the VSC processing times and really want to spend as much time together as possible.
Being away that long would mean giving up my apartment but will still have a permanent address here and leaving my job which I was going to be doing before the end of the year to move when the K1 is processed anyhow. I just don't want anything to jeopardize the K1 process or any border crossing issues.

Any links to or info you could provide would be very much appreciated. Thx

Thanks for the input. In addition to the travel question... I'm wondering how quitting my job and changing my address to mom's while waiting the 5+ months will effect the process if at all? And where and when do I put in the change if we're less than 1 month into the process? My mail will be forwarded to mom's for a year, although I won't be at mom's much as I will be staying with my love in Japan and the US as much as legally possible while we wait it out. And yes, we'll have couriers arranged to forward any pertinent mail to where ever we are :)

Anyone else have any experience with this? :luv:

I think it I might not want to take the chance staying too long in the US until I'm sure - I'll definately so some more reading up on it, I like to follow the rules. But it would only be a visit, no matter how long, I will be coming back. I will definately have a return ticket and won't go for more than the allowed time. It's just to visit while he's working out of country.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMy K1 nightmare

; I didn't know that some Americans can be that hassled when they return to their own country

I got hassled coming back into Canada after a New Years visit with my fiancee and friends in Seattle. They took my phone and iPod and scanned through messages and pictures and went through my carry-on... until they asked what my fiancee did for a living and when they found out his level of US gov't security clearance I was good to go. It was kinda scary but would have been worst if it happened going into the US. I'm off to see him in Japan tomorrow so hopefully because I'm not going through the US I won't have any issues.

I just don't understand, we (K1 filers) are doing things by the book with our mountains of paperwork and waiting and the financial obligations and still they think we are going to toss that all away and stay in the US illegally? You'd think the K1 petition/NOA1 paper would be like a pass.... just sayin' :luv:

Wishing us ALL a speedy process.

Janis,

I noticed in your signature you "Mailed additional info to VSC ".

What address did you mail it to?

Thank you :)

We sent it to:

USCIS
Vermont Service Center
75 Lower Welden
St. Albans, VT 05479

Sent it regular mail so we don't know if or when it will arrive but I'm watching online to see if we get a "touch".

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHas anyone sent addition info on their K1 before receiving an RFE?

I did this. (Check signature!)

Mailed I-129F back in September. JUST the form and the fee. Nothing else. No evidence, no Biographical Data, no copies of passports, tickets, nothing. Just a single I-129F and the fee. Realized in November what I had done. Gathered my Packet, made a copy of the entire thing. Stuck a copy of my NoA1 on top and mailed it directly to the Service Center.

I got an approval without an RFE. The ONLY way that is even possible is that they got my paperwork and matched it up. I did not get any notification of receipt and my case was not 'Touched' at all. So it was matched, but there was nothing to confirm that. However, I do know they would have RFE'd me if they did not have any paperwork, so I believe it was matched up.

Worst that could happen is you're out the money for postage, so it's worth a shot anyway.

Thanks for the hope Kiwi... my fingers and toes are crossed! :luv:

Although the rules state that you cannot send additional stuff, I too have heard of cases where the petitioner did it anyway and it worked.

So try it and keep copies in case it doesn't work and you have to wait for an RFE to send it again.

Well, on Feb. 24th we sent the additional info. Fingers crossed now.

When we sent in our K1 info in January we didn't include any pictures of our ID, further details explaining how we met, pictures of us together or a letter of intent.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresRFE's

I sent my I-129F to the CSC in December 2010. I know with a 100% certainty that I will get an RFE. I would like to know if it is possible to send documents/evidence to that center and expect it to reach its' way into the bottom of that extremely large stack of petitions that are ahead of me. Is this a lost cause or should I go for it?
By the time (probably late June) they get around to my petition I will have much more relationship evidence. Will they expect more relationship evidence or will I be treated the same as others who are not getting an RFE? Loaded questions, but someone must have had or seen this happen at some time. Thanks for any HELP!!!

Good question... we did the same thing, sent just the bare minimum. I've come to the conclusion that it can't hurt to send copies of everything, if it gets lost it does but if it makes it to the file then we just might (fingers crossed, prayers said, wood touched) not get an RFE.

Good luck and keep us posted on what happens. :luv:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI miss my Honey!

Hello everyone, I am hopeful that my fiance' will be granted entry into the USA as a visitor for three weeks. Has anyone had any difficulty crossing into the "Homeland" from Canada, or any other country, while the Visa is being processed? Thank you and hang in there! Anything for love.....

I'm currently in Virgina visiting my fiance since March 26 (entered through customs at YVR). Showed no ties to Canada as I have already gotten rid of my apartment and quit my job in preparation to move to the US when our K1 is approved, but had a return ticket and all my K1 paperwork ready and a letter from my fiance saying he would be supporting me, in case they asked, which they didn't - I was asked no questions about ties at all, just the purpose of my visit. Now I may be changing my return date to a month later in mid June and heading to Japan for a month - being sure not to overstay my US B2 Visa of course and then fingers crossed an easy entry to be in Seattle until the NOA2 arrives in what we can only hope to be no later than July.
Just remember to be honest and have ready as much paperwork/back-up in case they ask.
Have a wonderful visit!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresVisting US while waiting for NOA2...EASY!

So wait..I am visiting my fiance in 2.5 weeks  but I am absolutely nervous about POE interrogation. Should I not mention that he is my fiance? I will be staying with him. I have my ties to UK paperwork in order but I don't think I have much to go on. Just a letter from my employer, return ticket, driving test confirmation and travel insurance for 2 weeks. I don't even know if this will suffice but hmm...any advice? My POE is in dublin by the way.

I recommend being honest but brief in your answers. In March I came to the US on a B2 visitors visa with no ties back to Canada (quit my job and moved out of my apartment and am "living" at mom's), my return ticket was showing that I am staying 7 weeks - until May 18th originally but now I'm changing my return date to stay a month longer. I told them I was visiting my fiance while we wait for our K1 and he had a few questions about how we met and when we will get married (once we are approved was my response), he then wished me luck and and sent me on my way. Easier than I had anticipated, he was very nice and friendly, although in case I needed it I printed out an email my fiance wrote me saying that he wanted me there with him while we wait, and to quit my job and he will support me - but I didn't need to show it.

Key is not to be nervous.... coming back into Canada after getting engaged in Seattle at New Years, right when I got to the the desk I got all sweaty after getting of the bus and having 2 jackets on, maybe having a hot-flash - LOL. The POE lady - who seemed to have a chip on her shoulder - thought and actually said I looked nervous and was hiding something and pulled me in. She patted me down, went through my carry on, iPod pictures and text messages on my phone, grilled me with questions and when I let her know I had just gotten engaged and my fiance had high level military clearance and he was mailing off our K1 package that week (I had copies of everything but she didn't ask to see them) she finally let me go. Not a great experience but I stayed calm and was honest.

Good luck on an easy entry and have a wonderful visit. :luv:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI want to add stuff to my k1 package at Vermont

Kiwi had success doing it but I'm sure it's rare. I just sent our extra info (had only sent the 3 forms originally) on Feb. 24th... our fingers are crossed. I just made sure to quote our case number clearly on every page including the envelope. I'll keep everyone posted if I hear anything. :luv:

Hey all... update. We received our RFE as expected but all they requested was copy of my fiance's passport, 2 passport sized photo's of him and proof of our previous divorces. My guess is that they received all the other info I sent as they didn't ask for my passport copy or proof of relationship as it was included with the additional info I sent.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI want to add stuff to my k1 package at Vermont

Ok, I called today and asked the agent. His response was that unfortunately there is no way to add additional stuff to the file until an RFE was generated and sent to me. I guess maybe whatever is to be sent in had to have an RFE number or something to track it to my case. No volunteered extra info allowed.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresU.S citizenship proof

I am submitting colored copies of all pages of my passport, and was needing to know if they should be notorized, if so.. does anyone know if i can have them notorized out of the country, as i'm with my fiance currently

T

We just received an RFE request for proof of US citizenship and all they are asking for is a copy of his passport (or birthcertificate or a choice of 5 other items). No notarization was requested. Hope that helps. :luv:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresIncrease in RFE issuance?

Just more folks who don't read the Guides and Follow the Guides......most we are seeing are for basic stuff.....like no proof of being able to marry or primary proof of meeting in person. All this stuff is well covered in the Guides and the Stickies.

This process is very easy but many folks try to muck it up the best they can. Some succeed, they'll get it turned around or they won't.

We received our RFE email this morning. In defense of all those who just sent in the basics, as we did, the USCIS website is not very clear and they seemed only to request the forms.
Unfortunately I didn't find this website before I sent in our package, I wished I had as it definately makes the process much easier to understand. After finding the guides here and reading the posts I was expecting an RFE and am prepared.
And IMO it's not a "very easy" process, it's time consuming and can even be complicated for some. :luv:

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresRFE TODAY BUT STILL HAPPY...

Yes, everybody makes mistake, that's ok!!

Good luck!! :star:

Yep, we made a mistake of sending nothing but the forms... but as an after-thought, a month later we sent some additional info. In the RFE hardcopy we got today all they asked for was copy of his (US citizen) passport, 2 passport photos of him and a copy of each our divorce papers.
