K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	sounds like most of you here have gotten your NOA2 notices already. hoping i hear something soon. 1-17-12- mailed I-129F to vermont service center 1-19-12- check cashed 1-24-12- notified of NOA1 1-27-12- NOA1 received in mail 2-9-12- last time "touched" 8-13-12---still waiting for NOA2 wondering why this is taking so long. my I-129F submission hasn't even been 'touched' for over 6 months now. the USCIS site says they try to process these applications in 5 months. i am into my 7th month now. i guess they aren't trying very hard. anyone out there know anything about this longer wait time? thanks and good luck everyone! We have a serious problem here, you need to call USCIS ASAP to get a service request in. Uploaded with ImageShack.us well, my brother waited from 8am to 6pm in my flat that i had so rudely forgotten to fill with er... any food at all! and at 7.30pm, when everyone had given up hope, and i was walking back to the tube station from coffee in chelsea with sara80, my phone rang - it was here! when i got home i was terrified to even open the plastic envelope it came in, but figured - ive gotta get in somehow to get my passport! i was also very skeptical because my name was written incorrectly TWICE (in two diferent ways) on the front. i didn't think that was a good sign... tentatively opened the outside envelope, saw another brown envelope inside, and my passport just lying on top. the envelope is marked The United States of America - OFFICIAL BUSINESS IMPORTANT NOTICE To be opened only by the United States Immigration of Public Health Officer This sealed package must be surrenedered to the US immigration officer at the Port of Entry into the United States Do not pack it - it must be hand carried And there you go!!! I hope you all have yours in your hand very very soon. Good luck to sara and mark tomorrow, you both rock. And thank you to all for being there throughout this whole crazy mess of an experience! Our things arrived 2 days ago, and left to the consulate today. NVC won't commit to a time that it will arrive, but I was told that it was sent over to Moscow electronically and that I can contact the embassy next week to check on it, and I don't need to talk to them anymore. They also told me they are sending a letter telling me it was forwarded to the consulate. All I can say, is that its completely different than USCIS / VSC... I was just going to ignore it, but I took a peek to see who it was from and it was those infamous digits that come at the top of a USCIC text. I almost wrecked my car!!!! I got to the stop light, clicked on my mail, and there it was APPROVED!!!! I started bawling, the car behind me was honking at me to go, I forgot how to drive for a minute!!!! I have never felt happier in my life. I called Ray from my cell, and he knew as soon as he saw me calling because we never call, we text or skype.... 195 days!!!!!! Thank you all for being so supportive. I need a drink, or a hug, or something... not sure..... Now all I can think about is you Texas22... Please say you got one too.... Congrats, im soo happy for you. Hope Texas22 get her's today too From what's been said on the site, USCIS mail does not forward, but yes I have. At this point, I've done all I can from my end in hopes that I don't have to spend months chasing down my NOA2 or an RFE or fighting not to pay just to get a copy. A least I have a paper trail a mile long!
