Yikes! Sometimes RFE can be Morale Boosters and well as it can break you. some people would like anything, just to know their case is been worked on. I thought the last time I did that would be the last time I had to say goodbye to my love... but since USCIS is taking soooooo frigging long, we decided to sneak in one more trip... may this be the last... Decided to wait until tomorrow for the office to initiate any contact with USCIS..because knowing how they operate, I don't want to leave any chance that they try to say today is still within normal processing time haha. However, Katchoo's Congressman was able to push an expedite through exactly at 6 months..Waiting one more day for my Congressman to act isn't so bad. So I think I'll do it. January 9: 1 x approval (previously RFE 05/17) 1 x approval (previously RFE 05/18) January 13: 1 x approval January 17: 1 x approval January 18: 1 x approval January 19: 2 x approval January 20: 2 x approval (they are finally at 20th!!!) = that's what gives me hope right there! Sure do, lets just hope we get approved before we hit the 6 months. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	I noticed another 1/18 approval from yesterday (7/11)..it was several petitions before mine..but looks like about half of the petitions in my group remain unapproved...maybe by the end of the week some more mid Jan petitions will receive approval. it's all very strange... man this dam wait sucks, its like Russian Roulette, people filing month end getting approved and thing and we all sent in the same petition with pretty much the same info and the same forms, except for a few who has filed petitions before, kids, and are divorce. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	im kinda concern still, how long does VSC expect to keep this up for. they have been doing january form the start of may if you look at it, now its july and they barely half way through @ the current trend, people in feb gonna cry. as each day goes by, it seem like things are getting slower. Jan 18th & 19 have almost 100 unapproved petitions alone . Seems like its gonna take a year from filing to actually touching US soil @ the POE. i thought that was a joke but its gonna be reality for some people especially if they have mandatory AP . The ting is: players are not the one who cheat, the "referee" is! i wish we weren't subjected to this #######. these adjudicators playing with people lives, lots of relationships are experiencing a real test of strength and character. i only wish they would work in chronological order as received. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	Ok Guys i have news......We just got APPROVED (YIpeeeeeee!!), at 16.30 US time....151 days since NOA1 and 48 days since RFE Response. I am still in shock, i had thought it would not happen til end of July or Aug, but we are thrilled. To all still waiting .....Hang in there it is coming when you least expect it!! congrats on your approval. Just a little concern about my self and others who filed before you. Its hard to imagine you filed end of Jan and worst even got an RFE but yet, approve before half of us here. Dont mistake me, im happy to know there is some activity but its hard to believe. Even CSC filers getting better treatment than us. I sense some form of injustice here.........we all wanna be with our significant others without having to worry about leaving them not knowing when next Hi guys, just wanted to tell you that my honey and I passed the first step, we got approved on july 2. It's still quiet around our received date but I'm expecting that next week might be it for us..Looks like things are back on track. Worst case scenario they get to them the following week. As Sabi pointed out, 1/17 seems to be as far as they have gotten (at least consistently) but again approvals are all over the place so who knows. just hope we don't have another day today without a single approval....CSC had 6 approvals here. and we had 0...just couldn't be much worse...it will be very concerning if we see nothing again today.	djricky4	Male	Jamaica	2012-06-26 09:16:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	same here, the proposal was a complete surprise on a thanksgiving trip, and when i researched AOS from VWP at the time i thought it sounded risky, so i left, thinking i was doing the right thing and i'd be back by summer... HA! at least i've been able to work and save some more money, but then, we also had to spend $1500 on a flight for andrew to visit, when it became obvious things weren't happening quickly enough, and then there's all the retail therapy i've been doing to make up for being apart meanwhile, there's people posting on here all the time saying they're gonna just adjust status from a vwp/tourist visa, and they don't seem to have a worry in the world! lol , maybe if we didnt talk about it and research it, we would be clear by now ha...the stats we deceiving, i though i would have had NOA2 letter before i left the US in may, i dont wanna say it but im just hoping that we dont get an RFE while she is here for the 2 weeks, that would be devastating, we wouldnt be able to reply until the middle of the month. even though we have an entire copy of the package sitting back home in a safe	djricky4	Male	Jamaica	2012-06-26 08:53:00

I was the one insisting on doing it the proper legal way... Haven't seen him since 4 months now and it's getting worse each day not knowing when will be the next time I see him... at least I know when I see him, it will be for good... I try to comfort my self with the fact that when its all over we will be together forever, but i dont know how longer i can tell my self that, the wait is killing me. She visits next Wednesday for 2 weeks but if she leaves and we dont have something solid...we might reach so low, i might be on suicide watch lol....just kidding, i dont wanna lose my baby, love her far too much.but we are getting desperate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	to be honest, the only reason we choose the k1 method was because of the legality of it and the fact that in december when u were looking at time line, we through within 3 months we would have an approval and maybe consulate getting the docs. Every day since the 4 months mark i have regretted our decision. Spent 5.5 months with my fiancee in the US last december and feel like we have been betrayed. Personally we could have gotten married and just file AOS, that would have been cheaper, and we wouldnt be away from each other (we knew the risk) so we decide to do the right thing. Not saying its a lie or true but its certainly set up for you to use their services, for years, many peeps have been preparing their K1 petition for them selves with little or no knowledge that we have access to now and they did quiet fine in the circumstances. did you all know in 2010 K1 approval time was just a little over 2 months. Oct-Dec filers were easily averaging 110 days.........now its 160 if your lucky. end of next week could easily be 170. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	i dont understand how is it that K visas are neglected to the point where we have to sit and wait for 3-4 months to get a touch. sep, oct, nov and for most of december was getting there approvals within 3-4 months, we have to wait an extra 30-60 days. that really sucks, whats worst is that you have peeps with slow consulates and then you have some that goes into AP...what is more painful??? Lot of us had a choice cause we could have immigrated on other visas and got married with a dual intent and try go through the process like a lot of people do but we all tried to go the legal way, and this is where it gets us; missing our significant others, not knowing which date for sure will be the day when we all get to hold each other again, it sucks. Im gratefully for VJ cause i think i would have gone mad already.
