You will all get approved by the end of this week and get married in fall:) Fall weddings are awesome! Just need to prepare for the worst at this point...February has a staggering 150 unapproved petitions . I can not imagine how long that will take them to work through. I really think there will be transfer of some of the petitions from more recent filing months to another service center at some point. It is impossible to complete the more recent filing months in a reasonable amount of time now. They do not have the resources. period. It would have been a struggle for them if they had wrapped January up in July..We're on the road to historic levels of backlog. I just don't know why they let things go down like this..All they had to do was maintain some level of consistency. It didn't have to be anything fantastic..But just reasonable. Now this whole situation is abysmal, and the aftershocks will be rolling through the processing of K1s for many months to come... feeling it for them, alot gonna be waiting beyond 6 months, maybe 7 or 8	djricky4	Male	Jamaica	2012-07-24 12:09:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	Yes...Let's hope the remaining half of the day will result in some approvals...Just a staggering number of RFEs lately...afternoons typically yield more approvals...I honestly would be afraid to have my file looked at in the morning with these trends...Everything is still moving at snail pace...and the days keep ticking away...I do think Vermont will tie it's record or maybe even exceed it now for average processing time...I don't think we'll ever find out for sure what caused it..but man...it's bad. At this rate they'll finish January in August im more thinkin about they finishing in september at this snail pace lol. feeling sorry for feb filers already. they in for it. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	really? hmmm you know I started thinking, so many things we have managed to do like contacting the congressman, service request over 20 days ago, now senator... it all won't help and they will get to our petitions when they get to them! I would just like them to tell me when, that's all! whether it is going to be August, September, October , November or freaking December!!! Just tell me so I know, so I can plan my life around some stranger's decision! Yup, my finacee tried making some contact yesterday cause we were fed up, and those were the answers we got. All we want is to get to the point where we have an interview date so we can have something to look forward to. cant take the speculation anymore. Maybe it could get you through by midweek if your petition is not high up in the pile and about to be worked on. And if it's about to be approved it certainly won't hurt the situation. It took about a week after the NOA2 to get it to the NVC and for it to be forwarded. Now this is the #### im talking about. I am betting you'll go first the RFEs give them time to move on to others but they definitely slow up the process. im sure they getting a lot of Replys this morning from the ones they sent out last week. just hoping for today to be our day, we have endure a lot. Yes. Hopefully they'll be ready to just be finished with these January petitions. More RFEs, more work later for them...Approvals is what they need. Apparently the person that looks after our case was on some meeting on Friday, never came back to us even though Terry left a message and after Terry rang again in the afternoon, he's been told that this guy will be away now till Thursday! Well done! They have definitely minus one vote this year! IF we are not approved by monday around mid day or so, we are going to contact our congress man. My fiancee faxed all the information to the congressman's office 3 weeks back and havent heard back from them since, called this week tuesday and was told the person who is dealing with out case is out of office for the entire week and wont be back until monday..........####### i dont know what they gonna tell us now that we pass the 6 months mark. just felt like sharing that with you all.
