VJers, The NVC informed me that they sent the approved package to the embassy in Bogota on September 12, but my fiance and I haven't received anything yet and it's been over a week. What should I do? Start bugging someone at the embassy (who, how) or what? Please advise, I need my fiancee here! I want my interview already!! check your local forum to find out the means of contacting the embassy. then you can contact them using your NVC case number as reference to see if your petition is in fact there and in the system. its possible, they will advise you what to do from then. She can scan the G-325 with the information but will require a ORIGINAL in Ink Signature and Date. Original Passport style photos (not copies) to attach to the 325.. Yes, everything should be translated in English. (Make it a priority to aquire her Passport now) The Birth Certificate should be Best Color Copy front and Back. I researched this before going to the Philippines so we filled the paperwork out together and I brought it back to file. Again: If your Attorney wanted $2,500.00 to start with but said you don't qualify because you have'nt known eachother 2 years. FOR SHAME. Get the idea. ? I would have a serious conversation with your fiance to find what exactly is going on. You both do need to be free to marry before you file for the K1 Visa. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	type of photos to send with my K-1 package	Hi, i have a simple question, i am preparing my K-1 package and i am including atleast 10 pic of my fiancee and I, and i know that variety counts, like different places and different people around us, my dilema here is that we have all that but 50% we are hugging and chilling and 50% we are kissing each other in the pictures. Since i am only sending 10, what should i send? 8 kissing 2 chilling, or 7 chilling and 3 kissing, any help would be appreciated. I learned so far from VJ and also from many other source that, once the NVC forwards the petition to the USEM where the beneficiary lives, the USEM will then send a package. It will contain some forms I need to fill and also a checklist of all the documents I need to present on my document screening and also interview. My question is where will this package be sent? To my current address or to my email? As far as I can recall, I did not mention my email in the I129F petition. I hope you can help me. Thank you so much. when you get your NOA2, you can call NVC about 10 days after to get your case # and provide them with the beneficiary email address. I need to know if it is better for me to hire a lawyer to help with the requirements or if we should just do it ourselves. In addition, she is not currently pregnant. I will see her this November.
