Hello All, I called NVC Automated system last night, I got a Case complete, yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sooooooo happy, whats the next step? how long will it take for my case to be forwarded to Kingston? Hey Lawny i am from Trelawny too (Duncans) forget to mentioned. Hope to hear some more good news.

Hi Jakeswife congrats on your pregnancy, dont worry too much, last year this time i was 3 months pregnant, i use to worry about every little twitch i was so paranoid, i got use to the different symptoms every month, if you have morning sickness try ginger tea or ginger ale, i had so much of both cant stand to smell them now, relax put your feet up, think about the beautiful baby inside you star_smile.gif

Steven has REALLY been missing me lately. He asked Friday night if I could catch a plane to see him for the weekend. I was like.... Hello Everyone what did you guys took for the interview (CR1) i have pics & wedding pics lots of cards, no phone bills use calling cards, we have been married 3 years have a son who will be 5 months on friday, should i let my husband send me everything he submitted to NVC (Affidavit of support tax papers, he hasnt filed 2009 taxes yet hope that wont be a problem, should he also send me the Approval notice from I-130, just trying to get everything sorted out interview is March 9, 2009.

Hello There Mrs. Hamilton (Tamika, i am still nervous have no idea what to do, i am praying that my husband gets the appointment letter so he can fax it to me by friday the latest, they have a slot for the medical (Mobay Hope) if i dont get that letter in time the medical would have to be late or delayed, i dont want that to happen, i am still praying about it, Your Case is k-3 i dont know if Kingston will issue your apointment letter ( my case is IR1), lets keep our fingers crossed that everything goes well. M's interview was on a Wednesday and he could pick up the results the following Tuesday.

I am freaking out Interveiw!!!!!! What about the medical info ect, i havnt received anything I am the beneficiary living in Jamaica, My husband (USC) didnt get anything either, I started taking my shots at the local clinic my next appointment for follow up shots was next month i move up the date this morning hopefully for this wednesday they only give you shots on selected days, just called NVC cant speak to a live operator (holiday) will let you know what happens

I called NVC last night the Automated System says My case has been forwarded to Kingston (IR1), Feb. 13th, When will i receive packet 4? i emailed the embassy i got a reply automated message, i am a bit confused i thought that NVC wont send the case to kingston unless they have a interview date.

Can you believe it i just read an email from my friend. She went to Ja with her husband to do an interview the CO asked him for a copy of the police certificate.....that he had already given to her and the woman refer to the grown man as "boy" now if you all know this is gross disrespect......Cant anything be done about this very rude CO (note that not all the persons that spoke to them were this rude) but something or someone needs to know what is happening and put a stopping to it.

Has any experience the same thing?? or know of someone who did??? I so disturb by this...im hopping mad right now....I tell you i need to petition the Lord.

Sorry for my anger but im sure you realize my hurt.....Im hoping that my case will be completed soon at NVC and forwarded to Kingston i hope and pray that i dont get someone rude cause if they refer to my husband as a "boy" i dont konw how i would react.....I just beg the Lord for His favour.

Im so angry i could cry...why do these people think they have the right to treat decent people like this???????

Well well here goes as the post said "Just CURIOUS" My husband and i got married in July 04 he was then a LPR he we fileed in Oct that same year, was approved in Sept 05 (waited a long time for I-130 to be approved). He became a USC in Jan 08, our status was upgraded hence i have just completed our case at NVC April 08............thats why the wait i hope it is much clearer now.

I have his British passport with his entry and exists out of JA every 3-4 months (5 months is longest he has stayed away star_smile.gif he cant keep his hands off me i guess) . So i hope this answers any doubts you may have about our marriage being ligit.

Photos, phone cards, greetings cards, Western Union'bill (i got them all) ooh better than that i have his bank card so i take money directly from his account when i need it.

I was only curious of what might happen at the interview....you never know (from being here on VJ anything is possible)

Most cases when I hear of a denial for CR1 cases were where there was ganja found in the blood test during medical, or when a person admitted to having EVER smoked ganja. Thank you for responding Lita i thought no one would. I just thought i would asked even though it sounded to be a silly question. My hubby and i will be celebrating 4 years of marriage in July and the thought just crossed my mind. Everyone has been asking about proof of relationship but to me 4 years of marriage is proof enough he tries to come to Ja every 4-5 months (plane ticket not cheap). We has a private wedding so i really dont have lots of wedding pic, but i do have some and cards and that he has given me. I hope everything goes well and that we will get an interview date soon our case was completed at the nvc on 25/4.

Mexico, Latin & South AmericaHOW ARE INTERVIEWS SCHEDULED???
Hi you all,

My case was completed at the NVC on April 25th. I was wondering how the NVC goes about scheduling interview dates and in what oder it is done (does it have anything to do with when the case was filed??)

My case will be forwarded to the Embassy in Kingston Ja. When i spoke to the rep at the NVC she told me that appoitments are scheduled during the second week of each month.

Mi no know...my girlfriend said when she e-mailed the embassy they told her possibly August (but not 100%). She's doing the married visa. Her case was completed in April.

They better give me a date before August! Especially those with case complete in April. Its usually been about 2 months after case complete you get an interview date and you get notified of the interview about 1 month before your interview. This has been the trend for CR1/IR1 visas. There have been a few that waited longer.

I called yesterday and they told me that they were still scheduling for June so keep your finger crossed.

I'm with you guys too. Waiting for a date for my husband and me. I don't call them much cause i figure if you all dont have a date i surely dont. so i just check vj in hopes that you guys have dates, haha.

I don't believe that 2nd week stuff cus i seen people getting dates scheduled all times of the month. I wish they would just schedule as soon as you are done. Whether its 1 to 4 months out so at least we have an idea on how to schedule time off owrk, by airline tickets. This is the most stupidest organization ever.



I agree with you Marlita, at least if these people told you when you had an interview even if its 5 months away a least people would be able to plan!

Hi All,

My case was completed at the NVC on April 25th. I was told my the NVC that i would not an interview date for June (thats ok....didnt really expected to anyways) innocent.gif

My question to you all should i just want until the end of June to contact these people cause to tell you the truth i dont want to stress myself calling these people only to be told no date has been assigned!

What do you suggest that i do? Wait or keep calling??? Oh by the way i keep emailing them too and all i ever get from them is some stupid auto response! #######
