K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Disturbed about info I received on K1 Visa	the reported that that they tell you "january 16" is like a defense mechanism, if your NOA 1 date isnt earlier than Jan 15, they are going to tell you straight up that the computer system wont put in a service request for you. All you gotta do is wait or contact your congress man or senator and you might be able to get some help. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Some questions	everyone go about it differently, we wrote a detailed page about everything up to our proposal including how we met, dates of trips, locations, durations and all. Other people just wrote the basic like dates, location and duration and got approved too. Its up to you to do what you want. But a little extra info wont hurt The expiration date on the form is the least of your concern. It wont get rejected because of that, as long as the papers arent really old, you are alright. as for additional info that can not fit, just hand write it in neat and legible. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Extremely Stupid question	Hi all, Another "stupid" question on the K-1 process. I have my interview on August 22nd. I will bring all forms required. So I made a copy of the DS-156 to have two copies. Now on the DS-157, the last section asks if you made any travel arrangement. I did (for air ticket cost obvioulsy). Would it be an issue during the interview? And I guess putting No would be dumb as it would be so easy for them to check with my passport number. Its wise not to make travel arrangements until you know if your approved. what if things dont work out as planned? its ok to say your looking at a possible date to leave or have a date reserved with the airline before purchasing the ticket. The times @ the service centers fluctuate during the year. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-129F Fees and Presentation	Hi all! We are just about to submit our I-129F form very soon, hopefully tomorrow. I'm suddenly confused about the initial fee and just wanted to check before sending it off. I found a price of $240.00 quoted here: http://london.usemba...as/iv_fees.html and $340.00 quoted here: http://www.uscis.gov...000b92ca60aRCRD It seems that the $240 is current but if someone who knows the actual fee for definite and could just let us know that'd be much appreciated. We are also slightly unsure how to present the package. We have gone through the package checklist as given in the guide and have everything ready. We don't know whether to use binders/plastic wallets etc. What is the most professional presentation? What makes it easiest for the officer checking our case? How should we ship it? It may become too bulky for the envelope we were intending to use. Many Thanks! DO NOT BIND THE PETITION. Just try to keep it together so nothing gets lost before reaching USCIS (we punched holes in the top and put in a paper binder) . They understand that it is a non-immigrant visa, so they try to get you to purchase a round trip ticket. This is normal.
