I have 10 years B1/B2 visa with a year and a half left from this current date. So we just decide to file the K1 as soon as i get here so we can spend some time while it is being process and hopefully by 4-5 months its approved and i can be back here with her in 2 months or so. Firstly im from Jamaica and i have currently been in the USA from December of 2011 on a vacation with my Finacee who is a US citizen. We got engage on christmas day and we started filing for thew K1 visa in January of 2012. We got our NOA1 on January 20. First of all i plan to return to jamaica before my 6 months expire. Im just a little concern as i dont know if any one had similar case as mine where they actually stayed with their fiancee while the documents are being process. And if this affect the process. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	USCIS Requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE	hi everyone : We just received a notice from USCIS, requesting additional information or evidence fo the case, My fiance came to visit me the 17th and went back home this morning, they send us an emailthe 19th, but we didn't check our emails of course bc we wanted to be together the whole time, now our case will be in suspense untill they receive the infotmation or additional evidence of the case, but the question here is : WHAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR EVIDENCE IN THE CASE DO THEY NEED FROM US? I CALLED THE USCIS THSI MORNING AND THEY COULDN'T HELP ME!! AM VERY WORRIED .. THANKS A LOT!! There is nothing you can do until you get the hard copy in the Mail, it should be arriving anytime now. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Visa Interview Date	Since you’re not allowed to go into the actual interview with your fiancé and you have to wait in the waiting room, are there any benefits of traveling to your fiance’s country for the Visa Interview Date? Other than for love and support…obviously. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Has anyone done this?	base on your timeline, you in line for an approval soon base on the speed of CSC...you should be out of there within the next 4 weeks which is good . As it relates to visiting the US citizen, you can visit but i wouldnt recommend it. The Consulate where you in Ukraine seems to deal with the process really fast, and it would be best for the Alien fiancee to be there taking care of business to speed things up. last time i checked, you can get an interview date within a week or 2 of things arriving there and be done in about 3 weeks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	HELP WITH PACKET 3 MONTREAL	not familiar with your consulate but @ every single consulate, your require to fill out part 1 of the ds-230, sign it and send it to them (scanned or mail) so they can assign you an interview date. the rest of the instructions will be in the packet 4 you receive after you get the appointment date confirmation. you will be required to present the ds-230 part II at the interview and all. They care about NOONE. Their goal is to get as much money as possible from their victims and will waste as much time of each victim as necessary to build the false trust and hope. Those who are unlucky enough to find themselves talking with a scam artist with stolen photos will see the conversation change to: a family member is sick or has been injured and needs money for the hospital bill. Even talking with the person you are involved with on the phone is not enough. Before you risk spending anymore time, you must meet this individual in person and/or verify that they are who they say they are in some reliable way. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Finally - got the RFE Notice	Morning VJers . . Well as expected I checked the website and got the notice that I was mailed an RFE. I am happy about this because 1. There has been movement 2. My petition was not denied and 3) I fully expected this cause I did not send nearly enough information. When I submitted I had not found this site or all of the importance information that I have since learned that I was suppose to initially provide. I have everything that they could possibly want/need. Just waiting on the letter for specifics and I will return mail it immediately (via overnight). I know that this will put additional time on the review of my petition but we still have some things to accomplish on his end like shots and non impediment letter etc so we r prepared for the additional time.
