National Visa Center (Dept of State)	NVC asked for IV Bill that was already sent	Hello All, My husband sent in the Affidavit of support forms and paid the Immigrant visa bill, in February, he got a letter from NVC in March asking for the IV bill, thats strange that was already paid, he sent a copy of the money order to NVC its now may and we have not heard anything from nvc, is that normall? why are they asking for a bill that is already paid, we thought by now i would get the DS230 sent it to NVC so the case can be completed, this is such a stress for both of us, what do you think we should do? NVC :(	Just to let you know my docs were entered on the 24th I got SIF today!! keep checking the portal, I spoke to an operator this morning that told me it was still processing and an hour later I checked the portal and got SIF!! I checked every hour because they are taking about 3 weeks and my 3 weeks were up yesterday...check the portal!!! i got my approval on the 24th so i guess am in the same boat with y'all....which portal are y'all talkin about doh?? Africa: Sub-Saharan	holp me pls my passport will be less six	why are you confuses, the instructions are clear. the passport MUST have SIX months of validity to it at the point of interview, you will need a valid passport when u enter the USA so to be on the safe side, try get it change quickly before scheduling interview, it will save you delays and other problems. Mostly if you are not there on business or appear to be a wealthy tourist you will have problems being admitted. Right now there is a case in court filed by a Jamaican woman because of the way she was treated. The situation was made very public in the Caribbean. Africa: Sub-Saharan	Need your advice please	You have been given various opinions above and anyone of them could be true. However, everyone does things differently and it made me think of my own situation. In my case we knew and lived with each other for years before he migrated and was able to file for me. We saw each other often after he migrated because I had a visitor's visa for the US and it was not expensive to call him. But he is not a 'paper work' person. Even before I did all the research and emailed him the Forms for him to fill out I knew he would not get going and I knew that he wanted me to be in the US. Especially for him to spend time with our young child. I was very comfortable in my country and since I could travel back and forth with my visa it wasn't a priority for me to get a Green card. So, I did all the work. Filled out the Forms, took them to him and said 'sign here'. As soon as that was done I did not have to push him to take his passport size photograph and send it off with Fedex. You dont know each other very well and I think that may be a part of the problem. Only you can decide if if is worth it. I am suggesting that you do all the paperwork and send it to him. If he does nothing after that it may be time for you to walk away. Whether he is there or not your plan on going out with your friends on trips and parties. I’m with you I don’t see the big deal but I guess he is not used to that. How was it when he was in JA and you went out did he call your phone fifty times or did he let you be? See you seem like a people person and partier. You chat with girls and guys not to get with them but just because your friendly and there is nothing wrong with that. Does he hang out, has he met friends? Maybe he’s jealous you’re going out and he doesn’t but hey that is not your problem. I pray too that he chills out. Yes you are an attractive girl but your content and happy and not looking for anybody why can’t men just accept that. They say the first five years of marriage or the hardest so umm I think you still have four/three to go? LOL Chile, what you telling? It is her problem. As long as he has a problem then it becomes both of them problem. If JQ acts like it's not her problem then thing will just get worse and not better cause it will make him even more insecure and jealous. Girl, your post touched my heart, I can relate to every bit of what you are experiencing with your hubby cause I've been down that road with mine. I've been with hubby for 6 yrs, and the first 3-4 yrs of our relationship was testing, he was overly jealous, overprotective and a bit controlling and it was a mess. When things were good it was VERY GOOD but on the bad days we both wanted to just throw in the towel and call it a day( We did a few times but it only lasted for a day)but I prayed and hang on cause despite his madness he's one of the sweetest person there is and he is my heart. There were days when I would cry cause I was so overwhelmed with all his madness and insecurities. He was selfish and wanted me all for himself. I had to start acting a lil crazy and a lil extra calm for him to get his act together,and he did. Over the last two years he has made a 360 deg and things have just been wonderful ever since. Now, It doesn't bother him one bit where I go or who I go with, he only wants to know that I'm safe. Things will get better sweetie, as long as both of you recognized that there's a problem and you're both open to finding the solution and resolving the issue. Sometimes all they need is that little extra reassurance that you're going nowhere and he's your soul mate. Next time he's acting up, instead of getting mad, just rub him in the head, give him a little reassuring kiss and tell him a few sweet words, maybe that will help a bit cause it sure did for me. I just got an email today saying that the Work Permit was approved, but on Saturday I got his Advanced Parole in the mail. I checked our status on-line and none of the 3 cases had been touched since like March not even the AP!! Weird, huh? I signed up for email notification for all and never got anything for any of my cases except when they told us about his Bio and our AOS interview. I also double checked the Advance Parole hard copy and it has my hubby's cute pic and his info so I'm not sure what is going on just as long as they are moving our file along. Question:: He won't need the AP and Work Permit since he will have his green card, right? Yea I don't think so because he will be a Resident? I LOVED every minute of it, it was everything I imagined, at first when I was planning it I thought it'd be dry and needed some touches because I thought I couldn't afford it but thanks to my family it was a success. So I'm finally Mrs. Jenkinson. (I was crying walking down the aisle with my mom!!) Took some beautiful pics at a castle but for now I'll try to post the pics from my camera until I get the pro pics. I was suppose to go to Atlantic City but I'm broke and I ain't even ad because I'm tired and we had a night filled of sexy parties I'm so happy everything went well, I don't have pics of me in the wedding dress but I'm gonna post pics of the reception in a different dress. Do them about 5x's....gather yourself and then try to get up. Keep crackers with you at all times. Maybe baby is picky about what you are eating. Are you craving anything yet? With my son it was salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and orange juice... With my daughter I wanted sour things and veggies. So I'd get a western omelette with a side of coleslaw or beets! (I know that's nasty, ) I had to take my daughter to school, but Im off today... Im gonna climb back in bed and rape my husband quietly Likkle more.... They tried to put him on American but he is too young to be on a connecting flight. When I called back Air J I was on hold until midnight when they just cut off the phone because they were closed. So I woke up at 6am to call them back. Now he is coming tomorrow on the 9:45am flight. I have only used Air J once and it was delayed and I never used them again so I will continue not using them.
