So I will do better next time around. I work closely with law enforcement. I have done so for 12 almost 13 years. I am in and out of the jails on a daily basis. I am definitely not carrying drugs for anyone... But I do understand and I thank you. Miracles, love and blessings to you and yours. 1. All of the pictures included family with us but mainly his family and my cousin because she has visited. 2. I have met his family. I have stayed with them. His children call me their 2nd mom. I am even friendly with their mom. 3. I didnt have any affidavits from family as I didnt know that I needed them. 4. He is a construction supervisor. He was working in Barbados but the job recently ended. He never asked me for anything more than what I offered. 5. I had no letter of intent. Only the letters that I have written him, emails and yahoo messages. 6. All of what you have so far is evidence plus filing a new petition is evidence, plus all the evidence you will generating waiting the 2nd time around. You will resist taht idea nad so will any attorney that can make money trying to appeal it. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Should I hire an immigration lawyer??	Basically, I understand that the K-1 fiance/fiancee paperwork process is all about submitting the documents to USCIS and being patient with the waiting game. However, I don't know if I should start being more proactive about trying to speed the process up (if there is any such possible way??). Long story short--I sent the paperwork in early March. My NOA1 was dated March 12th 2012. I've been keeping post that the Vermont processing center is behind. Well, we've passed the 5 month mark now and I'm giving Vermont 30 extra days leeway for notification. I was thinking that if I don't get the NOA or status update by mid-September then I was going to hire an immigration attorney. Essentially, I'm really concern that the likelihood of getting an RFE is likely because I accidentally overlooked with including our letters of intent to get married in my initial paperwork. When it dawned upon me, I sent it in July. Now, I'm worrying even more that this has caused a delay or my case file is simply in the box waiting for an RFE to be sent out. My cousin from AR petitioned for his fiancee from Laos too--his paperwork was sent probably a couple of months before mine. He hired an immigration attorney from MN, and now his fiancee arrived here in the States about a week ago. The length of process for him total was approx. 5-6 months. SOOO---can any of you who've hired an immigration attorney advise if the process is more speedier versus those who do not have an attorney representing them?? USCIS will review the petition again and tell you if its approved or denied. if denied, thats when u get a lawyer.
