I arrived yesterday with half an hour delay but I was out of the airport in half an hour!! and considering the time to get off the plane!! POE was super easy, took not even 10 minutes. The officer was really nice, I asked him about whether they would change/notify of the change of address but he said no, that if he were me he would just change it when we do AOS... Dont think I'll follow his suggestion on that... I think I will change address online and send a letter to USCIS, just to be on the safe side But yeah, now here I am, up at 3.30am... jetlagged!!! Not one word in a longgggg time--at least that I have seen! Does anyone know how things are going for him? Just curious since everyone else seems to have popped in and updated fairly recently. i think he is doing ok. his fiancee had her interview the 12th of september and got the visa the 19th. Both me and Lorie are thinking of you and sending our wishes and prayers to you. I know it may not count for much but it's something. We are in sheer disbelief about what is going on. We truly are. I honestly hope you have an answer soon, no matter what the outcome of the visa process. At least you will be able to get on with your life. You're in our thoughts probably a little more than you might realize. To everyone else, congratulations! Things are moving a lon for all of you. It's hard to believe that We were even going through this process now, although not having an SSN has been giving me some serious issues here in Texas. At least we found a new car. Good luck Sara! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	congrats ricky! so happy for you! and sabi, you'll be out here before you know it! andrew and i got married on saturday in a beautiful park ceremony, and i'm just waiting for the certified marriage certificate before sending off AOS. the license issuing office said things are quiet right now so i should get it within 10 days. we're moving house next week so once we're in the new place i'll get a bank account and SSN - notifying everyone seems like a major pain, i can hang on another 10 days after all this time! i also haven't decided for sure whether to change my name, so i need a little extra time! otherwise things are all going great, although it was just us and two witnesses (friends) the ceremony was incredibly romantic and we woke up in the finest hotel in new orleans. i'm a happy girl! i hope you're all doing great too. honestly, logging onto this site kinda gives me a heart attack and puts me back in that anxious place i was for 8 months of K1 process, but every now and again i get brave and wanna see how the jan gang is doing! best wishes to all, especially those still waiting to be with their loved ones for good. k Congrats on the wedding and thanks. glad your enjoying your new life. hoping to be with my fiancee soon and be in the AOS stage	djricky4	Male	Jamaica	2012-09-20 06:12:00

It sounds like you had a beautiful wedding and I am happy for you! *** I do have a question for everybody and at 3am my time, my fiance encountered another problem that I need to make sure won't screw us up later. For very stupid reasons, he cannot get additional certified copies of his birth certificate. He has his BC that is like one of those little booklets and it even has his vaccine record on it from his childhood. In my packet 3 it says to bring original and photocopy of BC. When I emailed the Embassy, they told me they will return all originals and just keep the photocopies. That's great and also the AOS guide says to send in a photocopy of the BC. I know it is risky to only have the one BC, but I can't think of a situation where anybody would keep your BC and not give it back to you here in the States. Can anybody else? I just need some help thinking this through a little. Any thoughts? Also, anybody see a problem with the type of BC he has? I hope its okay because if not, we are up a creek without a paddle. I don't have a good feeling about all this birth certificate stuff. if your consulate said its ok then it is. the birth certificate set me back for 2 days. They dont accept copies at ours and the CO told me its no guarantee i will be getting it back @ POE. so i had to apply for an additional two copies to take with me to the US. try your best to see if you can get your hands on an additional copy or two	djricky4	Male	Jamaica	2012-09-20 06:06:00

My parents love him now even though there was a small communication barrier ( language) , my brother and his family love Terry too so I am really happy ! Other than that he is leaving tomorrow morning so getting sad now but at least its not going to be too long now... We still haven't received the interview date yet, it will be 2 weeks this Wednesday since I sent the pack 3 so I am hoping to hear sth this week. I am happy for all of you who got approved and those already in the US. So sad that Texas is still waiting! I don't get it!!!! It's ridiculous !
