Hello VJ friends!Have a good day to all!I just want to ask again if thers missing of requirments in filing I130 .It might be probably they will deny our application.We forgot to put Evidence of a bonafide marriage .We just put pictures together with my husband.Is this acceptable as evidence of bonafide marriage.?We forgot to put copy of our chat conversation or email msg.or WU receipt that shows as bonafife evidence..ohhh iam worried...Its our application is deny now?..Thanks for reading..Hoping ur kind reply...

I think as long as you include your marriage certificate, you will be fine. We did not include any pictures, just marriage certificate and we got approved in just 90 days.^^

Case Complete

I got CC on the 19th, but my question is i can still log on in the portal payment of nvc, is this normal? I'm really hoping we can still get an october intreview but unfortunately the operator says its full and we just call back on the 2nd week of oct. for the novermber schedule. :crying:

I know the feeling. after a week or so call nvc if your petition arrived and if you have a case no. aasign. But usually it took 30 days to get a case no. now adays. NVC is backlogged.

Case Complete?

Hey guys 'n gals!

Got back up and running and got all the paperwork put in etc for the NVC IV packet and after a few days on Sept 22nd we recieved this email:

It's been about 10 days, but I can still log into this site:

Is that the place I check for the SIF? If so, I can still sign in! Is it normal it takes about 2 weeks after they send an email like this?

Just getting impatient perhaps, but everythings finally moving again and it's all I can think about! hehe

Also, anyone have any ideas when our interview will be in Montreal? I'm thinking maybe November??

I can still log in to the payment portal, eventhough i have my appoinment already( Nov.3). So i think it doesnt matter.

Evidence of a Bonafide Marriage

I was wondering if anyone could let me know what types of evidence could be used to prove that my marriage is real other than the types shown in the guide here. I have traveled to her country and spent months there and will be returning again soon to marry her I hope but it really depends on whether or not I can prove that our marriage is real.Her apartment is in her name only and we share no bank accounts..There must be other forms of proof that do not involve these things that her and I can provide. I would really like to file using the CR-1 and not the K1 so any help would be appreciated. Thank You

If you have a joint bank account, that's what we include in our petition(IR-1) and we just got approved in just 90 days. Goodluck to you!!

Visa approved, what a relief

So i had my interview in London, met up with a cool guy who was doing K1, he was on here too so was good to get chatting, relaxed me alot, the whole thing could not have been easier, i wasnt even asked any questions apart from one, your wifes name is? the santa looking man stamped a few things, asked me to sign somethings, said my wife was a beautiful young lady, we joked about the mountain dew they sold, and how busy embassy was, and without even saying bye he took my case, closed it, an walked off, then the next number was called to the window, they walked behind me and stood lookn rather mad i was there. santa returned with a case in hand, and said oh you still here, i said i am done, he said ye, i said, so, im approved, as in like i have the visa, he seemed to be rattled by now and said yes sir you have your visa now you can leave have a good day, i went back wished my new buddy all the joy and luck i was feeling and paid courier, spent 3pound on a call to tell my wife(an wake her) i was approved, now im home and have work in 4hours, they said ill get visa friday, i may just decided to fly sunday(wifes birthday 16th, anniversary 14th,) all in all, amazing experince and such an honor to share it with u guys, all the best and god bless u all

Most the time Manila wont accept a cosponsor.

They accept co sponsor if you're filling for IR-1/Cr-1. I'm not sure for K1 though.

Louis&Venice...the NVC works in mysterious ways..... LOL, I been calling them everyday to find out about an interview date. I emailed them half hour ago and also called them 10 minutes after sending the email, the operator gave us an interview date for 11/23....lol, I'm happy, but don't want to get too excited and get my hopes up....Hope everyything at the interview turns out ok...wish me luck everyone.

Congrats to you. My case was completed on September 29th, they said I didn't get an interview for October. Wonder if my wife will get a date for November and if so...when will I find out? I've been calling everyday and they keep saying that they do not know yet.

Thank You! I email them, and after one day they replied with the interview date, but i got another email from them containing my packet 4 after that day. It took 11 days for me from the CC.

I just got my NVC Case Number last night through the AVR. I was going to call the op in the morning to get the IIN and exchange emails. I checked my email in the morning and they sent me the NVC Case #, IIN, Beneficiary #, and the DS-3032 in the email! So excited!

Confused about 2007 taxes while having spouse under CR1

The order that you are called is aleatory, some people were fingerprinted after me, and they were interviwed first, so be patient.

Good luck for everyone, be organized and prepared and everything goes good. Just submit what they ask you but keep and bring with you copies of what you already submited to NVC. Bring a lot of proof of relationship, better safe than sorry.

Yes i understand that, however we do have a daughter together(our first child). do you think that will help?

Having been through 1 CRBA and another coming up soon (I also have a 3month old and 17month old in the philippines) USEM will require proof that you were together at the time of conception of your 3month old. If you were living with her at the time and can prove it by sending notorized copies of your US Passport then a DNA test should not be required. If you were in the US by the time she got pregnant than there will be a problem at the embassy. We are just waiting on the NSO for our daughter to begin the CRBA again...

And I don't think the MASS girls is an appropriate analogy because first of all, we are talking about teenagers here. Good judgment and a sound understanding of actions and consequences is not definitely not their strong point. Secondly, these kids appear to be seeking attention, not immigraiton benefits. And thirdly, as far as I know, NONE of them was married, was there?

Well we'll have to agree to disagree. The new guy who needed help has been chastized and has now not come back for the help he really needed. Diaddy has asked a great quesion, but he's probably too scared to come back to ask for help. There is also a difference in letting him know it was his fault and what some people have done here - but again - we can agree to disagree.

But they are seeking something - and you cannot TELL me that some immigrants who get pregnant aren't seeking benefits. You are VERY naive if you think that.

In terms of validity of a relationship - look at it from a USCIS standpoint - having sex once, easy...comingling finances, living together, making it day-to-day, harder. Just think about it from a different standpoint. It's easy to meet once a month to have sex to try to get pregnant - whether you're in a relationship or not - no relationship necessary.

I know this point has been argued 100 times, so I'll leave it alone now! I hope the the OP will come back to get the help he needed.

That's also good news for me....because you are the closest tsc transfer to me who hadn't gotten it yet...and your NOA was before mine....so I'm just thinking, logically (mistake when dealing with USCIS, I know....) I would be next....SURELY I'm getting close????

Now I feel everyone around me getting approvals - yet our app hasn't even been TOUCHED since last February. <sigh> I know I can't complain yet, but can I? Just for a second?

I haven't logged in here in about a month ... and WOW VSC seems to be moving finally!! If I put my name at the bottom of my computer screen, the name on the top has been approved. That means I'm a computer screen away
