US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionBank statements

Hey guys,

So we are still gathering all the information from our co-sponsor but he's having some questions;

He went to his bank to get a statement and they want to charge him 5$ per page they told him he could also print out the information online.
Do you guys know if this will do as a statement? He'll be able to print out how much he deposited for the past 12 months and I believe it also states

when he opened his account. We just want to make sure.

Thanks in advance, all of you have been VERY helpful!

Greetings,

Britt & Kristin

K-3 Spousal Visa Case Filing and Progress Reportsproblem with i-129f
This may be your problem. I copied this from instruction page for I-129F

"Mail the I-129F Package to the USCIS. You should mail the completed form(s) to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox. Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS."

Where did you mail to? I see Nebraska as your service center, but your petition has likely been transferred. I dont think Nebraska does k3's

Check to see where payment was cashed. Likely California. If so thats where your case is, and I'd call because NOA1's should come quickly.

1. Did you send via USPS "delivery confirmation requested"?
2. Has payment for 129F cleared bank?

Yes, i've seen your post they wrote something about submitted blablabla - if i am not mistaken rolleyes.gif  Hope it's a good sign! Cos we did not get any e-mails, and i guess its still to early to bother NVC, so my evil plan is to start bothering them next year diablo.gif
From which part of Ukraine is ur fiancee?

I had this strange email the other day (maybe you saw my question) that apparently not a lot of people have seen. Best hope is that it should have been a msg saying was sent to NVC, but somehow got "that".

Yeah, with our NOA2 dates....really shouldn't be long before NVC has our cases. Once there, looks like only about a week, and its sent to Embassy. Hope so!!!!

Merry X-MAS to you two as well.

Sorry, I understood what you meant. I just mean we did not USE a middle name. Of course, just like yourself she too has this "patronimic" middle name.

The use or lack thereof a middle name was at the advise of our lawyer. Plus if I'm not mistaken...there is no middle name on her's, and possibly your international passport, so the omission of a middle name coinsides with what is on her passport.

Also was just going to say....on her G-325A under middle name it simply has "none" in the field.

Yes, our timelines are very close. Hope things keep moving along smoothly. This long upcoming holiday there in Ukraine...hope things don't slow down to much. Good luck!!!

What a relief rolleyes.gif

ToddB, the issue is not in the lack of middle name hehehe the question is that I put insted of middle name my patronimic in G-325A and thus in NOA2 they used my Last name + Name + V (letter from my patronimic). But as Gary is more experienced in those things i also assume there will be no issue cos i bet lots of us when filing did the same mistake (as far as there is NO guide for G-325A at USCIS....)

Plus as far as both of us are more or less in the same stage (with NOA2s) hope things will keep on moving faster!star_smile.gif

Russia, Ukraine and BelarusCommunicating with Kiev consulate

There is a way to track DHL shipment of packet to see when it arrives at embassy from NVC. This way you know packet has arrived. Also, it is helpful in being able to schedule medical without embassy notification "in hand"...BUT, you will need to present this paper notification on day of medical, so don't make appointment TO soon. Embassy does take some time to mail notification (say..10 days), but nonetheless you will be notified by mail from embassy. Search DHL tracking. You'll see hundreds of posts on how to do it. Play around with dates. This doesn't make sense now, but you'll know what I mean when you read how to do it.

Russia, Ukraine and BelarusDelivery confirmation

When my wife went through her interview process she had two confirmations she printed online from this "usdoc" site. A interview confirmation, and a TNT delivery confirmation. Subsequently the only confirmation she was asked to produce at her interview was the TNT delivery.

Now that her son is going through the same process there seems to be no where to print this TNT delivery confirmation. Is anyone aware of any changes, or????

She just remembers them specifically asking her for this...now it seems something is different.

Russia, Ukraine and BelarusUnemployed...I-134 questions

You'll be fine . The I-134 has a section dedicated to assets OTHER than income ie...savings, real estate so on. But with a co-sponsor you don't have to worry any way.

Russia, Ukraine and BelarusWhen to fill DS-160 and schedule Interview

You can't even take medical exam until case is in Kyiv, and you have case number which will start with KEVxxxxxx. The notification is a piece of paper that needs to taken to the clinic at the time of exam

DS-160 can be completed anytime after your receive NOA2 as the receipt number on this form will be needed for the DS-160.

After medical, and DS-160 done...then schedule interview.

Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)Buying two different tickets for one trip...good idea?
Obviously!!!! She's looking for the least expensive, most reliable way.

Cheap, and reliable are not usually synomous in the airline industry. Up to her to weight the risk/reward.

A stateside connection with a 4 hour layover.....should be fine!!!

Sometimes its cheaper to buy round trip tickets, and simply not use the return portion. Agree with the above post if arrival, and departure times are close. Four hours??? Should be fine.
