on the checklist below.
You should send any of the missing items to ______________ so he or
she can take them to the visa interview. The Consular Officer will review the
missing items at the time of the interview.
Please pay special attention to any items related to the Affidavit of Support form.
If the checklist shows any problems with the form, you should complete a new
form and send it to _____________.
If you do not send the missing information to _________, his or
her visa application could be delayed or denied.
 
 
and they asking for my wife to complete part of the i864 which is she did not send one i did because shes not
the petitioner.do you think they made a mistake on this one?

 

 

No, it's not a mistake or a false checklist when NVC is very specific about the [missing] items it's requesting.  Whatever missing items listed in the checklist, make sure your wife has those exact items at the time of the interview. 

 

NVC is not asking your wife to complete the I-864 or any part of it. The missing items are the issue, but if the checklist indicates a problem with the I-864 itself, then fix those problems. She needs a new original AOS anyway with your signature for the interview.

Call or email NVC - nvcinquiry@state.gov, false checklists are an inherent part of the process. However, they were specific, so it warrants attention, again.

 

The I-864A,  if her income was needed (as a household member) to help meet the poverty guidelines if your income fell short.

As suggested above, I'd submit a complaint with FB, surely FB would not tolerate threats.

 

I would not be too concerned with threats to have you undergo a sputum regimen. The need for such must be medically justified and documented, starting with an x-ray. A medical professional would be risking his/her career, reputation, license, and employment with SLEC if caught ordering sputum testing that was not medically necessary.

Contact USEM first to see how they want to handle it, they might have 2Go pick the package up from you or you drop it off to 2Go. Don't think the beneficiary will be allowed to enter the compound without an appointment.

For the sake of clarity, your wife does not 'needs' to bring the AOS to her interview as if it's one of the stated required documents listed by CFO -- it's not one of the required documents.

 

I interpreted "interview" to mean the USEM interview (in which case the AOS is needed, thus, my answer) and not the one-on-one CFO interview as intended by you.

 

So yes to the first question and no for the second question.

The Embassy does not schedule appointments for K-1 applicants. It's tough to get an appointment at the moment because of the expedited cases for those in the Typhoon Yolanda affected areas.  Yes, getting an appointment requires someone monitoring the site constantly for any canceled appointments that open up or waiting around until more dates are released.

 

It is a first come first served system, so anyone with a much later approved petition can get an appointment before you.  You will not need to start the process over again. Yes, everyone is dealing with the same issue.

If you won't allow the father to see his son, then you better not open that can of worms by using the family court.  The fact he denied your son verbally does not mean he's legally given up his parental rights.

 

Go to family court, then be prepared for the father to have your son every other weekend.  Take the advice already given -- you might want to leave this alone.

I personally have never heard of a case in AP where the passport was requested by the petitioner and/or beneficiary for immediate travel.

Thank you responding Hank, it's been awhile since I last visited this site. I didn't contact the embassy, I decided to walk away even if I already paid the interview fee, it doesnt really matter though, I'm just glad that I didn't go through the interview process, now my ex-fiance had been emailing me, threatening me to write the US Embassy that I deceived him for applying K1 Visa and that he wants my passport and any future US visa application that I would be required since I need the Transit Visa for Seafarers denied. I am upset with how he blackmails me when we both know that he was the one who hurt me and I just decided to end it by walking away from everything, even gave up the chance of living the American dream because I cannot share it with his immaturity and silly games.

I hope you're right Hank, so that I can push through my Transit Visa once my company assigns me to a US bound vessel. 

 

You can relax. The ex is behaving like a bully, ignore the idle threats -- he can do nothing to negatively impact any future visa applications you submit.

 

You might get asked about the approved I-129F petition whenever you interview for a different type of visa, just explain why you did not follow through.

  I'm assuming based on your profile you are trying to go to JFK. Some of the ones I flew with and can recommend: Cathay, Asiana, Korean, JAL, ANA. In econ, Korean among the above carriers has the biggest legroom (on their A380's) while both JAL & ANA has the shortest. Food is okay on both Asiana & Korean unless you really like bibimbap. I'm biased towards Cathay as they have dimsum for breakfast.

A lot of it is subjective and will depend on what's important for you. If you don't care, then go with what's the cheapest option and/or the most convenient schedule.

I haven't personally flown EVA but the feedback I hear from people I know has been pretty good. Taipei also has the Hello Kitty gate if you are a fan. EVA actually has several Hello Kitty planes but I don't believe those go to JFK nor MNL.

I assure you this is real. Yes, $20k is not much. He currently lives with his dad and has been working to save money and to get a better job so he can move out. His bills are very small and I paid for his trip to the Philippines since he was my best man for a second wedding. He is very money wise, except when it comes to this girl, and has always been able to save. Usually he has a few $k in the bank. He's been trying to save as much as possible for when his fiancée gets here, but she's doing a pretty good job at draining his account. He no longer has money to do the things he used to, like hunting and playing with his outdoor toys. When, and if his fiancée gets here, she will certainly make him broke.

 

It seems he's determined to allow the train wreck to happen.

I just looked at the St. Luke's website and the fees are up to date, the flow chart seems to be the same and everything else. I'd definitely be contacting one of the mods one of these days to have that little part changed on this thread.
