In this case you would write 'Please See Attachment' in the space provided, then type up a separate sheet; 'Attachment to G-325a, Question __, for 'Your Name'. Then write it in their. Did a google search and found this from several attorneys(yeah, I know how most feel about them) but there is an exception for document translations: 1. For any documents that are not in English, you must provide an English translation. EXCEPTION: You do not need to translate your passport if the passport is written predominately in a language other than English. But I will send the translated bio/Identification page just in case. The RFE stated all foreign documents must be translated, Passport is a foreign document... think about it.? Did you google passport translation? There is plenty of reasons, including Department of States Requests, to have a passport translated. Why do you suppose these passport translation services are in business anyway? Well, if the person in question needs it to get their K-1, then it is implied that the person would be translating for the purpose of travel. ALL Passports have either FRENCH or ENGLISH written on them. This has been the case for YEARS. Why do this? So that One's passport is accepted THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. I'm not saying you're wrong, I am simply saying that it seems odd and that I have never heard of it. Why do I suppose Passport Translation Services are in business? I dunno, people trying to convince people they need something, when they don't, in order to make money... 'You NEED this!' <--- What every TV commercial is telling it's viewers, without actually telling them. Simple, but effective! Why are Immigration Lawyers in business, when we have Visa Journey? Seems to be a waste for a company to offer Passport Translation Services, if it's never been done before. If I'm from a country that doesn't have English written on my passport, would I then have to get it translated every time I travel abroad? Think about it! It doesn't make any sense. I have copies of his passport but am not sure what needs to be translated. Do I have to have the first pages and last page with text on them plus the identification page? How about the stamps, do they have to be translated as well? really confused, need help, quick!!! What exactly was requested? Was a 'Translation' requested? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Does I-129f always go through NVC?	Do approved petitions always go to NVC before being sent abroad? As I mentioned in an earlier thread, we received the email about NOA2 approval this past Tuesday, the day after mailing in a letter to change personal information and consulate location. I called USCIS immediately and then NVC, and was told not to worry and to call them again once we received the NOA2 in the mail. I got it Saturday, and plan to call them Monday, but the letter says it was forwarded to the consulate. To make changes now, it says I have to file I-824, which has a listed fee of $405 on the USCIS website. $405 to forward a package? That's more than the petition costs to begin with! Then she look at the pictures then she said my visa is approved:) super Easy. Thank God he made things easy for me and for my fiancé and also Thanks to my vj family. They still do not have my petition, since it has been over 15 days they asked me to scan a copy of the NOA2 and send it to them and they will start to research where the petition is. Hope they find it!!! I had to do the same thing. It turned out that USCIS in Vermont still had mine, sitting in a postroom waiting to be sent for 7 weeks. The DS-156K on the other hand has to be signed at the consulate and you only need one copy of that. Ya, it's the 156k that has to be signed at the consulate. Isn't it!? Not sure if anyone can help - my fiance and I did our petition through an american law firm, they compiled all our documentation and did our paper work - we sent our originals to them. They then sent the petition to the USCIS - whom then it seems sent it after they approved to the NVC - I have received a letter from the US Embassy in London to now fill out the DS forms, book my medical - however I also noticed I have to take original documents with me to the interview? however, on the London US Embassy website it says if your application was processed by the NVC then you dont have to have the originals of : Birth Cerficate and Divorce Decree? I have been trying to find out from all sides if the NVC did have my originals and that these are now with the Embassy but am getting so confused. Lawyers tell me one thing and the NVC tell me another. It is not a huge problem as I have ordered a certified copies of Birth Cert and Divorce Decree, however they will take 20 days to reach me..and to be honest I dont want to wait that long. Also should I send my rediness form in yet? or wait until I get the documents? If I get the interview date before the documents arrive..what do I do? Sorry am feeling VERY confused. Any advice is welcome. Did you send your ORIGINAL birth cert and divorce decree? Are you the US Citizen? ONLY the US Citizen has to send their birth cert COPY (not original) with the I-129f. After the NVC issued you a case number they sent your ENTIRE I-129f Original package to the Embassy. Follow the instructions sent to you by the London Embassy! Wait to send your readiness form... as you are not yet ready! Wait to get your documents. Did you do the medical yet? You NEED to do your medical before your interview. Be patient, collect all your forms, do your medical, and then send back your readiness forms (when you ARE ready for the interview). That's what I would do in your situation. We only copied the pages with our pictures and entry/exit stamps. Neither were in colour. We were approved without a RFE. Has your US Fiance(é) been to visit you?
