K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	your opinions.	Hi! I'm from Ireland too and applying for K-1 visa. It says you need two to five of everything on the list. We have loads of photos and a few plane ticket stubs (we live together in Ireland although he is a US citizen so we don't have much in the way of emails and flights and stuff) We have receipts of holidays we went on etc. We have our engagement ring receipt. Loads of photos will help, and if you have a real relationship you shouldnt worry too much. If you're going to be having a baby you need to file for a K-2 visa i think. it's different. The fee is 455 dollars for K-1 but not sure about K-2. It's not too bad. Her parents signing the affisdavit of support for you is totally fine as long as they tick the box saying they will FULLY support you as i presume you don't have a job yet?	aoifemc	Female	Ireland	2010-09-21 05:37:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	quick question	I did a bit more of a detailed letter. I said on the space in the form 'please see attachment' and then i went on to explain the date we met, where we met, our anniversary date, holidays we've been on and our plans for the future etc... It might be a bit much but you have to do what you think is right. I wouldn't have felt comfortable saying we met on such a date and thats it!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	sponsors sponors!!!	Just read the guidelines for minimum amounts and co sponsor makes more than enough to qualify very comfortably. so is this ok? As long as the sponsor qualifies you are ok. Keep saying to yourself 'i'm so grateful i got into the US so easily'. we had a huge problem finding a co sponsor for our petition because my fiance is a dual citizen of ireland and US and we're living together in ireland with no jobs unfortunately... you knwo the way things are... so we needed someone to cosponsor us because really the both of us will be starting from scratch in US even though he is a US citizen. anyway! i kept using the secret, i kept saying how grateful i was that we found a sponsor... and then in 3 weeks a family friend in US volunteered out of the blue. people have been amazed by the secret!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Touched!!!	hello!! you type in your case number in the uscis website. then on the left once you log in there is an icon that says 'log in to my acocunt'. you can create a username and password there and then check the last updated section to see when you were touched. the thing that confused me was that putting your case number in does not mean you are logged in. you must be logged in with your username and password to see if you've been 'touched'. you must select 'add a new case to my portfolio to make an account. good luck	aoifemc	Female	Ireland	2010-11-05 06:46:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	time of relationship?	i'd say your age is totally fine. it qould only be an issue if you were 57 and she was 20. there's not really a time limit on relationships. and by february 2011 you'll have known her close to a year. have ye visited each other? that would be good for providing proof of relationship for the 1-129f and your interview. I know we're all expecting to wait between 5 and 9 months for our visa's to come through. hopefully no longer!! i'm not sure if the daughter is a plus eactly but i'm sure it's not a negative either. but it's defintely not automatic denial if you're only together 6 months. whats important is getting al your proof of relationship ready like phone bills, engagement ring receipts, photos, travel itinerarys and passport stamps. good luck!	aoifemc	Female	Ireland	2010-11-05 06:56:00
