K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Is Nebraska really working?	Oh, man!! I'm revolted! I got to see my timeline and the adjuction date now is ... July 6th! I know it's anything official, but it means that almost nobody is receiving 2nd NOA's lately! Ahh, come on! Let's go, Nebraska! You are barely 6 weeks since your NOA1. A lot of us waited 3 months and more. Be patient. And I know, when people told ME to be patient, it didn't help at all. But there's absolutely nothing you can do except come on here and vent, so... Yes, I know... But few months ago, Nebraska was taking less than 4 months FOR THE WHOLE PROCESS! From NOA 1 to interview! And anyway, most people use to receive their NOA 2 in less than three months and what scares me is that a lot of people that sent the petition in December are still waiting now! My case is not delayet yet, I know! But I really would feel relieved if they started processing the cases of December and early January, at least... Oh, yes! I'm anxious and I'm just relieving myself by sharing this feeling to you guys! I know I must be patient...hehe Anyway, thanks for the support and I wish us luck! Hi Priscila! We went through Nebraska too and I don't think you should have to wait much longer. Usually they don't wait more than 60 days to issue your NOA2, unless you have an RFE or something else. I try to focus on my plans and in our life together when I'm there! I'm trying to get as much information as I can on how my life will be. I agree with the person that said that praying is good to relieve the pain! I do it often too... Ask God for strengh and patience, or else I will go crazy untill I get my visa. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Processing date	Oh... So that means that if they changed the datas, my case won't be approved before these 90 days! Oh, man, that's so unfair! I was hoping mine to be approved this month, at maximmun... No, that was just our case. What I was trying to get across is that the numbers that USCIS posts mean NOTHING. It could be more, it could be less. You're better off using the timeline numbers shown here on Visa Journey, they're a much better idea of what is actually happening. Of course, they're only accurate as long as people keep entering their timeline data!!! And there will always be exceptions. I saw people on here who had their NOA2's take almost a year - with no explanation as to the delay. It's USCIS, the rule is: It takes as long as it takes. I am telling you it will be here sooner than you think. i bet before 90 days.. mine came in 65 when they were telling me to wait at least another month before i heard anything!! so i was supposed to wait 90 days as well. i know its easy to panic....i do the same! i still panic and my case is at the NVC!! just try your best to relax and be patient and have faith it is just around the corner! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Processing date	Nebraska did that back in January as well. When I submitted mine, it said "from 30-60 days." When it got to 60 days since my submission, they changed it to "60-90 days." In the end, it took something like 88 days from initial submission to NOA2 for us. Oh... So that means that if they changed the datas, my case won't be approved before these 90 days! Oh, man, that's so unfair! I was hoping mine to be approved this month, at maximmun... And is it usually correct or just an estimate????? Sorry just new at this folks. Thanks The adjuction date is the ESTIMATED date for you to get your NOA 2, and it seems to be much more accurate than the processing dates provided by USCIS website! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K-1 Petition denied...need help plz!	Well... In my case, it was also as if they had "denied" it in the first time my fiance sent... They kept the petition with them for about 2 months and half and didn't send the NOA 1... Then, they simply sent back THE HOLE PETITION, telling that they couldn't process the case without the translated version of my divorce papers... Then, Chris sent the petition again with the translated document and we got our NOA 1... Did they send back the petition or not? That statement means nada... don't rely on it...there was a time not too long ago when it used to take 9 months to get an approval, be happy it's taking as short as it has... Yeah.. I think all of us know about it! But our friend is venting because it's really revolting that they told us a period and simply change this with no explanation! Unfortunatelly, this is the way they work... They changed the processing period for everybody, so all of us will need to be patient! Good luck!
