K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresScrewed up big time

I know, and i just think given this guys posts, he might have made his gf out to be worse than she is. i dont see why shed be forced to give her kids up for adoption, unless shes a horrible drug addict or abusive or neglectful, and if thats the case, why would anyone want to marry her and get her preg again.
I dont think the poster is honest in anything he says anyway.

He said she was forced to give up her kids, but then he says she's still taking care of them because they haven't been adopted yet. So who knows.

I don't blame him for being scared of Bangladesh, though.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresScrewed up big time

i think from now on i ud just keep my retarded mouth shut and read what others are saying instead of describing my problems from fast to last asking for help. i bet that would help me solve whatever i'm going through. it doesn't feel good to be laughed at at all nowadays. i'm in lots of troubles and kinda frustrated when i see people drive cars in the streets and even though i can drive faster than any NYC cop, i can do squat to get me a driver's license. sometimes i feel that those who actually have got green cards through any means are god-gifted talented people and they are born magicians. how do you people do it? also so many people have won the diversity visa lottery but so many haven't. this whole issue has already made many illegal people commit suicide because there is just too much difference between the legals and illegals. for example studying should be encouraged and for example if i say i wanna study in college, compete with fellow students and get scholarship and stuff, the teachers should be happy. but if i say that to any teacher in any college in the US and express my willingness to study in his/her college, he/she gives me a form to fill out and in that form what i should write in the SSN field is something i'm asking god to tell me. i know some people before 9/11 came here and got taxi driver's license and making loads of money but after 9/11 noone can make fake documents anymore. things have gotten stricter. can anyone tell me wheather or not i should wait till the bush government gives me the amnesty? or should i go back to bangladesh and start to lose the willingness to live on that i earned in the US? this would be my very last post in this website and i thank you all for your assistance, encouragement and discouragement. but before i leave, i hope someone experienced would tell me wheather or not the government would give plain amnesty to us....please!!

No amnesty. Go home now before you are banned from the country.

Your arrogance and bizarre sense of entitlement combined with your seemingly fraudulent intent have made people in this forum pretty unsympathetic to you. I know this is very frustrating for you. If you leave the country now, you may have an opportunity to get another visa in the future.

And I hope you're sorry for impregnating that poor woman. If you ever do get back here, you'll owe her a lot of child support.

blahblahblah

Cessna_Inspiron, do you remember a bit earlier in this thread when you told the original poster to respect the country he wants to live in, respect her laws and respect her citizens? It's hard to sound very authoritative about that when you're an illegal alien whining about how people won't hire you illegally and how the FAA won't let your dad's broken down planes into the country.

And, I'm curious - if you're not getting any salary, how do you send $500 to your mother back in Bangladesh? And how do you buy the latest Dell AMD laptops for your welfare queen? Are you spending your aunt's money?

And you say you need connections to be successful in Bangladesh. Your dad is a high level officer of an airline, you're a "professional traveller" (<---lol) who has been to 27 countries, your aunt apparently is a US citizen or permanent resident with lots of money, you said you have an aunt or something living in Finland, you speak English (to some extent) and you apparently have the resources to obtain a valid tourist visa to the US and travel here. And you dare compare yourself with the suffering poor of Bangladesh?

AND you claim to be stranded here. So, if you're so incredibly interested in obeying our laws, why are you spending money on new computers instead of buying a ticket to one of the 27 other countries that were apparently so willing to have you?

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionJoint Sponsor Questions
Heya. I have questions about joint sponsors for the K1 process.

Form I-134 question 11 asks the joint sponsor if he is planning to make a specific financial contribution in support of the alien. If the joint sponsor answers no, what effect does this have on the petition's chances for approval? In this case, the primary sponsor (intended spouse) has been a student and is just now starting a full time job; while her current salary is just enough to meet the income requirements, she does not have a history of income and will only have been employed a few months in 2006.

Also, in worst case scenarios, what is the joint sponsor's liability? Is the joint sponsor liable for debt the alien acquires after his arrival in the United States (for example, due to catastrophic injury or illness)? If the alien and primary sponsor's income falls below the minimum level, is the joint sponsor required to supplement it?

Thanks for replies.

I've heard the UK police certificate can and often does take up to 40 working days to acquire. Can we get that now, before our petition is approved stateside? How long is it valid?

Hey, you seem really worried and stressed out about this, and it looks like the consensus here is that it's not something to be that upset about. So chill a bit, okay? Things are gonna be alright. A lot of us get crazy stressed about really minor things - we're lucky to have VJ to vent at.

Yeah, get tax forms. You can order exact copies of your back tax returns for something like $40 each, or you can get transcripts for free.

US Embassy and Consulate Discussion4 months to get a Montreal interview!

Casablanca usually schedules interviews about 4 weeks after recevieng the petition, so my heart goes out to you. The only thing that will slow us down is the security checks- anywhere from 2 weeks to several months! I am hoping for the latter :P Hang in there, the wait is hard, but soooo worth it! Good luck to all of us!

Oo, you ARE gonna get the visa faster than me! London interviews seems to be more like 8 to 10 weeks after they get the petition.

I thinkn she's saying she did file within the two year requirement, but the case was delayed at the embassy and now it's a year and a half later. You just have to get your NOA1 from a USCIS service center within two years of having seen each other, you don't have to complete the whole process.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionChange of address
My K1 petition has been approved by USCIS and forwarded to the London embassy. I anticipate that my fiance will have his interview sometime in late January or February.

I am moving into a new apartment January 15th.

First: Should I use my current address on the I-134? By the time he has his interview it will no longer be my address, but it will be current when I sign the papers and send them to him. I suspect I should use my current address as it corresponds with the address used for my I-129f and it IS where I'm living right now.

Second: On my I-129f I listed my current address as the place where my fiance will be living when he arrives here. That is no longer accurate, since I will have a new apartment before his arrival. How do I update this? Should he do it at the interview? Should we send a change of address form once he gets here and before we file AOS, or will filing AOS from the new address be sufficient notifcation?

Cheers!

US Embassy and Consulate Discussionpacket 3 received?

We have similar timelines and are still waiting to find out our interview date. They are suppose to send you a package with your interview date. If you want to find out about you visa the best thing to do is call the US Dept of State at 202-663-1225, enter 1,1,0. They are friendly and can tell you if you have an inteview date or not. They will tell you the same thing as calling the consulate in london but it doesn't cost anything. But if you want you can make that expensive phone call. See the following website -http://london.usembassy.gov/ukaddres.html for contact info. Good luck and keep us posted!

Thankyou for the info. I sent an email to the London embassy this morning but have received an automated response. I will now call the above number. The email address you gave does not allow nme into the website just now. Thanks anyway.

I got an extra official copy of my birth certificate from the county register and sent him that. Of course, he hasn't had his interview yet, so maybe something will go horribly wrong. I didn't sent a copy of my passport. He's got the photocopies from the original submission, though.
