Your post is very interesting.. Its very strange that they dont ask your affidavit of support, which they usually do.
Im not quite sure also if you're on AR,
when the w37 told you about the affidavit of support and saying that they gonna review your paper you should have hand it to him/her if you have it with you, but yeah embassy is sometimes dont pay attention anyway after they say their words., now the best thing you can do is make your fiance call the embassy, for follow up and ask why this things happen. The embassy will give you the right answer and im sure this will help to your worries.

My wifes had been to AR, coz they says lack of documents but then again.. they dont ask for any documents back.. they just send her visa after a month.. Really strange huh? Manila is soo busy thats why I guess they sometimes not pay attention a lot..

I remember someone from here who disclosed about the abortion she recently had and the panel physician required her a psychological evaluation... PM Helen or "vsmtghdy" and consult this matter to her. Like everyone says, she's a doctor by profession and she knows everything more than anyone else here.

a friend of mine got her interview last feb. this year.. the advise is to not lie if the doctor will ask you something about abortion. she under go a psychological evaluation too and she pass with the medical and interview..

dont worry thats not a major thing for you to worried and i dont think that can be a reason of denial also..

I dont think that St. Lukes can make that kind of damage.. that can be a big problem to them & that will led them to not be trusted again. St. Lukes will stamp your passport once your medical is done, so never ask your passport back to you coz the US embassy will check that stamp always..

My wife's son got his K-2 interview approval Feb 6th! Although we didn’t get to go, my wife's cousin was the one who took him there.

After a few questions about our relationship, looking at photos all together, asking how my times i went there (4 times) and what is the status of our relationship (happily married with a baby girl on the way whistling.gif ) she was told that he was approved and then she went to pick up a green slip (if that is the approval slip)!

i know it says you need your CFO paperwork showing you took it also.

Photo copies of your passport, and visa.

You got to love all the last min details! :whistle:

But soon she will be here! She is going to CDO airport now with the family. Then to manila, check into a hotel close to the airport, then CFO, the sleep there overnight for her AM flight out.

On Northwest airlines web site, it say to bring your credit card you used. but you know she didnt buy it, i did. is that an issue? i think not because it is her name on the ticket and she will print the boarding passes off Northwest airlines web site.

Well on my case we really don't know what's going on. My husband called the embassy last week and was told that they are still verifying the papers we sent to NVC and they won't tell what doc they are checking on.

We turned in all the required SLEC paperwork on 03/28. I called the embassy last week, and they said they had requested additional documents, which they received the day I called. No idea what documents they requested, or where the documents came from. The girl I spoke to at the embassy said I just need to be patient. Which of course, is very easy to say, but so hard to do! :whistle: :wacko:

So, you guys are not alone... Hopefully, we'll all hear the good news one day soon...

I don't know what happened here? I am in shock and a little intoxicated. My wife went for a bike ride this morning at 9:30am and never came back. All she took was her money, jewels and passport. I received an email from her cousin in the Philippines 8 hours later that said my wife is safe and for me to move on with my life. I am in shock. I married her in the Phils 18 months ago, she was here 1 day short of two months and she is gone. Day after day she said she was depressed and homesick. The only disagreement we had was yesterday. It was about her $1028.00 cell phone bill where she had been calling the Philippines at $3.00 a minute instead of using our landline international service.

I don't know if I have been used or what. I am just in shock and have nobody to talk with.

I don't know what I would do if I were in your shoes at the moment other than try and locate her and let her know you love her and want what is best for her. Maybe for now you can try and chat with her family back home and let them all know how you feel and that you are worried about Rosemaria's safety. Soon she will have to come back and talk about this with you, because you are both married, for Christ's sakes!!!! I think CSC is starting to work and move on the cases transfered from Nebraska. My fiance got 2 emails from CSC saying they sent out the RFE on June 23,2006 so it should be there at anytime now..things are looking up for the march apps!!!! :D


i really hope so. keeping my fingers crossed... i think they mass printed the RFE's to say June 23rd. my RFE statement said so but it wasnt mailed out until the 27th. Postmarked by usps... i didnt even get the email to say that the RFE was on it's way so i was just happy to recieve it the next day. im thinking you will get yours wed. goodluck :)


I received the (2) emails today saying that my RFE was mailed out on June 23rd as well, however the postmark says the 29th. O'well all is good I received the RFE today and will send it back out on Wed as Priority Mail to California. Now lets hope that the NOA2 does not take that much longer!! :thumbs: :thumbs:

3.) Do I need to fill complete the DS forms for my son when he is not coming to interview with me?

My wife son is follow to join also K-2, He didnt go with her in the interview but we was given year to pick him up., or file another petition for him. Once visa is issued that is valid for 6 months only.

We understand the whole k-1/2 process, but the only question is:

We only wish to know what is need when we do the faxing of the interview request and is it possible to call them?

We have the request letter done. Anything else needed when doing the fax to them?

He didnt come with her when she came on the K1? I thought that was the requirement for K2. I didnt know you could file a K2, wait to use it after the parent had immigrated.He should have come over when she did. it will be interesting to see the answer on this one, but i think she will have to wait until she is a US citizen to get him here as it will take years to get him here if she is only a green card holder. The US citizen cant petition the child, only the parent.

I think you're in for a long wait to get him here. 3 years til she gets US citizenship once you file for her AOS.

maybe im wrong on the K2 usage.

Hope not that long! sad.gif my wife misses her son so much.. I got into accident last year close to her interview and was not able to work. Cant afford to buy the ticket for both of them at that time. Her friend daughter was follow to join also with K-2, she had her interview last June and now the child is here in the US. She only told us that she and her husband send a fax to manila for the child appointment and she's not a US citizen yet. Its just that we dont have contact with her this time., so we dont know so much of the procedure..

Yes its very interesting.. to find out what will happen..

We just got our appointment date for our son and it coming very soon. We dont know yet what really are the requirements. And we dont even receive the packet from them.

Please help us.. we are running out of time. the appointment will be on Jan. 29 - feb. 6.

Hi,
I am new to the forums and like most of you would like to bring my fiancee to the US to live with me. We've been together almost 3 years now and I would like to start the application process now.
At the moment she is in the dominican republic where my family is also from but I was born in the states. Since she is out of the U.S at the moment how would i got about getting her signature on the paper work , I am not sure if e-signature is an option or what. I have all the evidence except picture of us together but i do have all the receipts that show i have been supporting her and also the text and call logs from the past years.

Can anyone provide me some insight on this .
