K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Rescheduling Interview Date	So people, you wouldnt believe what just happened, my fiance got her appointment date to pick up packets 3 and 4...happy as anyone would have been, she went and was told her interview date is 6 months out in Oct..yeah you heard it right!!...6 freaking months out!..Anyway, i know there has to be a way to go about this, so please kee the suggestions and recommendations coming. In the meantime, i've spoken to my congressman who has asked for the case number, but thats as far as any help ive gotten so far. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA2 Approval Expiration Date	As we are all aware, the K1 petition approval is valid for a certain timeframe., if your embassy sets an appointment date out of the validity window, who does the burden fall on to extend it the validity, or does it make any difference once you get an interview date, the validity of the K1 goes out of the window..its a bit technical to my shallow mind so please keep your recommendations coming in..an example is my case was approved on Feb 24th, the interview is set for Oct 14th but the approval on the NOA2 expires June 23.. USCIS Service Centers	checking our status online (merged)	Hello everybody,   me and my wife sent our CR-1  i-130 petition on 10/25/2013 and on 11/01/2013 we got a text message from USCIS (is that the NOA1?) including our receipt number LINxxxxxxxxxx But whenever i check our status online i got this Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. USCIS Service Centers	No I-130 on the updated times	  I'm getting really perturbed now by the amount of K-1 filers who are receiving NOA2s within 2 months. I'm not angry at the filers themselves of course, I'm really happy for them. It's just rather sad that while they get to be with their loved ones, I-130 petitioners have to remain apart from their husbands and wives for an inordinately long amount of time. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	confused need help	Hello there. I am a US citizen currently petitioning for a CR-1 visa for my spouse. I am trying to fill out the I-864 EZ and came across a couple potential problems. I filed my taxes from 2011 with my ex husband. Therefore, I am not sure what to put for Adjusted Gross Income. It isn't just MY income. Also, does anyone have an example of a cover letter I could file with the AOS package? I found one on here but it won't let me open it. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	help needed plz "tax transcripts"	Hello everybody, Our petition got approved by USCIS two months ago. We got the case number and we are trying to get our stuff ready for NVC stage.   My wife has a good job now but she still needs a cosponsor coz she didn't make enough the last 3 years coz of school.   We found a cosponsor, he runs his own business. When I asked him about his tax transcripts for the past three years he made his accountant send me 3 files each has like 50 pages and it has this written on the Cover "individual income tax returns" Can you please tell me if that will work?  If not, what should I tell him exactly to send me coz I am not familiar with this tax thing.
