K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Any Ideas	My fiance is Ghanaian but lives and work legally in London. Thats where she was born but her family retained her Ghanaian citizenship. Any ideas if it would be ok to file our application through the US Embassy in London or it has to be the country of her nationality. Can we apply for our K-1 visa through the American embassy in Uk or she has to go to Ghana to apply. You need to provide proof of the deployment or expected deployment to USCIS (formerly INS). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA1 AND NOA2	Does the letter say "Notice of Action" on it? If yes, that is your NoA1. Congrats on filing your petition. The only other thing they may send if a request for more evidence (RFE) if there is missing info in your petition. If no RFE then the next thing you should receive is the NoA2, check the processing times and it will give you a rough idea of when your case may be adjudicated by the USCIS, now it's just a matter of waiting. it says receipt notice, i guess thats not wat i should be expecting..hopefully its shows it soon	ManTra	Male	Ghana	2010-01-10 20:45:00

I basically have eveything ready to send to my fiance.... except the I-134 because of the upcoming exp. date... because we wont know for a while. It was just interesting to keep getting updates everyday- and I had never seen anything about that..... (email, letters, phone bills, pictures) (of course you need to have met in the last 2 years from the date of the petition) (she should take more evidence to the interview also) Front loading is better than just loading..anythg to prove beyond reasonable doubt this is a legit relationship is greatly encouraged...thats what everyone ive gotten word from on here said and thats exactly what i did..all the best	ManTra	Male	Ghana	2010-01-13 11:08:00

Basically you need to lookup the date previous to the day they said it left the NVC...so the NVC recording says ours left the 16th of march. So i had to put EXP 15 Mar 2010A then you go down the list and find your consulate...click on the shipping number and it gives you all the details on it. FWIW, it does say mine left the NVC on 16 March on its way to Manila...maybe that is something new?? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Mailing	no,he have to get an appointment letter through his mail.he will than use the letter to get access to the embassy to collect his package.i think it is every Wednesdays 7.am for such appointment to attend to at the US embassy in ACCRA.please be patient the letter will come and he get the package.my took about a month and a half to received the letter which i used to get my package just last year. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Mailing address vs. street address for Ghana	Your best bet in a situation like this is to constantly call the embassy, i would say 3-4times a week asking about the case, you may ir maynot get through but thats the Ghana embassy for yu..then also send them emails, its takes about 10 days to get a reply but keep sending it asking about the case with your case number and fiancee name. They will send you an email for your fiance to pick it up. Thats what happened to me..She we called and emailed because we knew the mailing system is a mess and after harassing them for so long they sent us an email to come pick it up..I hope this helps..let me know if you need the numbers to call	ManTra	Male	Ghana	2010-04-29 08:18:00

Sounded pretty good, then they went on to explain they dont interview first timers in a certain day..i think wednesday or somethng..So as anyone would be curious to know, we asked whats the new date..eerrmmm...its the 14th of October..so you called to tell us u moved up the interview date a week???????..dont know what to make of the Ghana embassy folks now..its goin from pathethic to hilarious...
