I just got a hard copy and state that my case was transferred to NSC (Nebraska Service Center), any body knows how is the speed of this center, I hope is not like NBC!!!! I know CSC is faster,,,,but do not know about NSC,,,I hope they are working there!!!!

hi, my transferred to TSC on Nov 18, then got approved on dec 12,2013. so totally it's 8 months we didnt expect it fast like that , but i'm very happy now, and on dec 31th, they shipped it to the Department of State for visa processing . I'm April Filer . good luck everyone

You're not being transferred to a local office, you're being transferred to a service center. You can expect 2 more transfer emails. We don't know why we're all getting three emails, it seems to be some kind of a glitch.

If you don't want to wait for the hardcopy to come in the mail, you can call and get transferred to a tier 2 and ask where it was transferred to.

How long it takes from transfer to approval depends on which service center you're going to, and a bit of plain, old, dumb luck. They don't appear to be processing the files in any kind of order, so when you'll get approval is anyone's guess.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting. If they don't approval or send an RFE for my case shortly, I will be at the 60 day mark.

On December 26, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed.

finally step forward,,,,how long usualy before getting an answer after transferred to local office? any Idea!!

But it may change sometimes, depends on how the other VJ user updating.

But It's really frustrating to me that nothing able to see timeframe on national benefit center.

Hi guys, I hope u all are having a good time while waiting to get to see us husbands or wives lol jk I CANT WAIT TO SEE MINE GODD I MISS HIM

SO MY HUBBY CALLED USCIS LAT WEEK SADLY OUr CASE IS ON NATIONAL BENEFITS SERVICE ONE OF THE SLOWEST OFFICES IN USA TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS, SO THE LADY TOLD HIM IT COULD TAKE 6 MONTHS TO A YEAR BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A TIMELINE DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF APPLICATIONS THEY RECEIVE!

SO THIS IS MY QUESTION HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE HEARD FROM THE USCIS EITHER THE ONES WHO FILLED ON JANUARY OR MARCH BETWEEN THOSE MONTHS, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR GOOD NEWS AND KNOW LIKE WHAT CASES THEY LOOKING UP NOW

My PD was March 20, 2013, and I just got my approval from NSC on Jan. 3, 2014. 58 days after transfer there.

I am June filer and transferred to NSC dec 26....hope I get no2 in 60 days as they said, but you never know!!!

I-130 process

I was just looking at a whole bunch of data to put together a time capsule, and I'm sorry to report that there are a LOT of people waiting at NSC, from April, May and June. They're starting to see some movement, but May and June's approval rates are still depressingly low. It seems like they're processing mostly forward from April and May at NSC and backward from July at CSC. I know that leaves you stuck in the ether and I'm sorry.

Today USCIS updated their website.. as of Dec 31st 2013, this is where their 'processing times' are...

Texas Service Center- May 2, 2013

California Service Center- June 2, 2013

Nebraska Service Center- April 5, 2013

Vermont Service Center- April 5, 2013

National Benefit Center- April 5, 2013..

Looks like California is still the fastest, following Texas.. while the other three are stuck in April.

Hope these approvals roll out quickly for everyone.. Guess they are getting fed up of us?

How long NOA2 to be shifted to NVC?

I got an email that the petition CR1 was approved at USCIS last January 18,2014. Then email again that it was shiffted to NVC last January 28,2014. Up until now we are not receiving any updates. I'm from the Philippines, my husband is in California.
I called the NVC last March 5,2014 and they said still not receiving the petition from USCIS

You should call USCIS and ask to speak to Tir2 and tell them NVC did not recieved your case, it should only take 6weeks from the NOA2 date, you are 8 weeks already,,,call them (USCIS)

here is a little tidbit of K3 info incase anyone cares compliments of the very nice women who took my call from the NVC.

K-3 and adoption cases have priority when logging them in to the NVC. They get case numbers and then get sent to the emabssies or final destination. Mail and DHL arrive all day long at the NVC. Not just 10am and 2pm like FEDEX. She told me they hear over the intercom all day long that there is a delivery of some sort because the doors have to be opened. She told me to keep calling.

She said for an I-130, allow 30 days to get a case number. I told her to throw my I-130 in a dusty corner ( she laughed)

She also wished me luck on my K3. Such a nice lady. I wish they all could be that way.

and just incase y'all are wondering... I have my heart set on the K3 but I hang here because knowledge is power and if I get stuck going the I-130 route then I should have more knowledge than my lawyer. He has done NOTHING for the last 12 months and I emailed him 3 times asking how he wants his next payment.... Cash in person or can I fedex a check... but haven't heard a peep. If we didn't need an I-601 waiver, he'd be eating my dust.... If your case is straight forward, there is no need for a lawyer.

Here is my Ugly Timeline:

7/14/2013 - got married.

8/12/2013- I130 filed.

11/04/2013- i129f filed.

11/30/2013- expedite requested.

01/15/2013- congressman involved.

02/20/2014- infopass appointment.

02/21/2014- i129f closed at 9am.

02/21/2014- got approved at 6pm from NBC. ( Never Transferred)

02/21 to 03/03- 10 days case was remain at NBC after approval

03/03/2014- case shipped NBC to NVC:

03/11/2014- NVC received my case.

03/19/2014- NVC sent case back to somewhere or USCIS. ( No further information)

Now after all this up and down my case is missing

Let me know if you guys see my case here in VJ and looking for me

After I got my I-129 case number and IIN number, the NVC lady told me my case is under admenstraive process and when it is clear we will send it to the embassy and let you know, does anybody know how long that may take, anyone experince this,,,,when I went to NVC website and loged in everthing seems fine and my Ds261(agent of choice) is ready to complete I did not do anything since I have to wait for the embassy to tell me what to do next, but I got confused when my number worked fine (i thought it will tell me my case is pending or something)??

You can't do both but if you go K-3 the I-130 sits at the NVC for a year. So if the K3 fails you still have the I130. Just pay the fees

I-130 NVC received 03/18/14 (no case number yet)

I-129 NVC received 03/18/14 (case number and IIN assigned and emails were given over) but they told me that my I-129F is under admenstrative process when finshed they will shipped to embassy, have anyone got an answer like that?
