It says in their website that the bank should verify if first. What the heck!!! This is the first time encountering it. It really made me mad and upset. Philippines	Visa at embassy??	I went to my fiance visa interview on May 22 and had flights for June 1, my CO told me when I ask that we could not pick it up unless we were leaving in 3-4 days after interview or medical emergency. Others have been able to pick it up after asking, so our conclusion around VJ is it is up to the discretion of the CO, you have to get the lucky one. It was a challenge but we got lucky 5 days later we got text they had sent the visa from Air21 in Manila so we went to the Air21 hub in CEBU bright and early next morning and they dug it out of the pile they received overnight. Call and ask them if you can continue processing while waiting for an embassy/case # change.   I think I read in this forum that people actually continue the process while waiting for the embassy or case # change.   Good luck thanks, when I log in my fee section is always unavailable for the last three weeks, all I have done is complete the agent address  form, but I will call and see if I can continue the process while waiting for the change!!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July 2013 I-130 Filers	hey, i would like to know from all July I-130 filers, USCIS is still transferring cases to NBC....anyone of you received a transfer letter?? this process started sometime in Aug 2012, want to know are they still continuing it or the respective service centers are working on I-130 files   Until one gets a transfer letter or USCIS Case status says " The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.     please let me know has it happened with any of the July filers. did not get transferee, I do not know if they still doing that!!! If you submitted on May 27th, you should hear something hopefully by Monday. Whatever you do, DON't go back into the DS261 or it will resubmit the date and you will have to continue your 30 days from there....I did that and lost 19 days!!! Did you notice it was incomplete on 05/27? I feel bad for you..I was in the same boat at you. Initially submitted on May 22 and then when incomplete and resubmitted on May 24..nbv got it on may 27. Such a bummer. Still waiting for IV. I did argue with them and even sent them an email with conformation attached to it that was 3weeks ago, off course still have not got a response to my email and I am sure when I get it will be two late, but what can you do!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	Congratulations to all the folks who've recently had case completes. It has been a very long process for us (and many others), as we lodged our application in April 2013 and still do not have a CC.  The USCIS became heavily burdened at that time because Obama called on the agency to adjudicate a new immigration benefit called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).  Thus putting all of the I-130's to the back of the line.  The young adults (DACA) did not need to to be processed with this urgency, - as they are all living, working and schooling in the US presently.  Unfortunatley, this decision caused families and loved ones who were (and still are) processfing I-130's to be apart for inhumane, excessive periods of time.  Another ill-advised government decision was to centralize i-130 processing and stop Embassies and Consulates abroad from accepting filings.  And then adding insult to injury...pushing all said applications to the NBC.  Most of us on this forum experienced being transferred out of the NBC to one the processing centers.  Thus causing monumental delays. These governmental agencies, that are paid for by us, were created to make the lives of ordinary American citizens a little bit better.  The current system is archaic, cumbersome and wasteful.  And of course, - lacking decent, helpful customer support.  Hopefully there will be change soon. Thankfully, there is Visajourney...And many members on this site, who are willing to take the time and help others out through this process.  Saylin's wiki and this forum have been a great help. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	Yes I AM REALLY SICK OF IT TOO.  I am obsessed, I check on my laptop, through my phone while I am at work with the hopes that the invoice is there and is like every day is a let down.  If takes 4 weeks to get IV invoice, then I should get it the end of the month, then I need another month to get documents reviews and CC, then another month to get an interview date, and another month for the interview , that will be 3 month from July, if anything go without checklist then I should hope I will be done by Oct if I am still a live (this is really ridiculous) that is almost 2 years to get your wife/husband here	Lottry	Male	Sudan	2014-06-17 19:56:00
